Needed to update my old and dilapidated French doors so I contacted four different vendors. Andes was the first to respond and provided me with an estimate the next day. I was in the market for windows and doors replacement and contacted numerous window installers receiving various quotes and sales pitches. For my last estimate, I contacted Andes Windows and Doors and was put in contact with Esteban (Owner) who came out to my house for the estimate. I found Esteban to be straight forward and extremely reasonable on his quote when compared to other window companies. He recommended that I go to his office to look at the products in the showroom, which I did the following week. Brenda (Office Manager) was easy to work with and answered all my questions related to their window product as well as the installation process. On the day of the installation, to my surprise the installation crew arrived 15 minutes early, which is a first in my experience in dealing with contractors. The entire crew introduced themselves and were extremely friendly and eager to get to work. We decided to work with Andes Windows & Doors after getting several over the phone estimates to replace an exterior pedestrian door. Estimate was arranged quickly and within a reasonable window. Communication overall was wonderful. I gathered quotes from 5 different companies before pursuing my project and I am SO happy that Andes was 1 of the 5 because their price was more competitive, their customer service was better & their lead time was the quickest. I wanted to replace 3 entry doors and have heard horror stories from friends saying that they spent $5k on one door. I was prepared for the worst but was pleasantly surprised when Andes fit right within my budget and they were even willing to find a way to make the price work for us. Andres and Esteban both came out on the day of the measure and right off the bat, you can tell that these 2 guys knew what they were doing. They didn't show up with a laptop, a fancy software that lets you build a 3D rendition of your door or a huge sample book that comes with thousands of choices which overcomplicates the process. Instead, Andres asked for a photo of what we were envisioning and was able to pull up pictures on his phone and based on my quick explanation, he was able to pull up the EXACT door I had in mind. Quick, efficient and to the point - which I appreciate. We nailed down the final design of all 3 doors in under 60 seconds. Turnaround time was about 2 weeks. They have so far installed 2 out of the 3 doors (1 door got damaged via transit and Esteban offered to upgrade the material free of charge for the inconvenience as we wait another 2-3 weeks for its replacement to arrive. Talk about amazing customer service!) and I couldn't be happier with the work done so far. Their workers are respectful, professional and well trained in what they do. The doors look beautiful, have upgraded our home and have drastically improved the issue we were having with poor insulation. I am SO happy I found them and will be referring them to everyone I know. Getting new windows and a front door is stressful but Esteban at Andes Window and Doors made it so easy! We found him as we were getting quotes on remodeling our kitchen and he quoted the windows and door for me as well. We started with the windows. We had 7 windows, 2 sliders, an arch over the slider and another over the front door! He was competitively priced and had also done a neighbor's windows that looked great so we went with him and so happy to have done so. The windows are double pane energy efficient and we love them, they look great. The air conditioner does not come on as often everything is sealed so well I see less dust. The sliders and windows are easy to open and lock, love them. The new front door was done today, looks amazing. Again great job. They were on time and completed each job in one day. The arch took longer to come in but they installed it as soon as it came in.
