This place is always good! Love the portions. Yucca and seafood is one of my favorite combos. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try Peruvian food! It's the closest I'd recommend to Ecuadorian food, which I'm always missing. Everyone who works here is so nice and the place is decorated so authentically.

Here's it is in black and white.

Andes is unique. It represents the mountains of Peru. The flavor and texture of their Aji De Gallina is something in itself. It cannot be described. The texture and content of the ingredients can, but not the taste. Aji De Gallina is made of shredded chicken covered in a thick cream sauce. It's seasoned with ingredients I cannot identify. The creme sauce is very rich. The flavor is mild but full. It included potatoes and rice. It's enough for at least two meals. Asian noodle dishes were served as part of Los Andes offering. It appeared to be spaghetti, soy sauce and coarsely cut vegetables. The restaurant is clean. Its bathrooms are too. There is no loud music playing, maybe none at all. As a member of a group of seven Andes assessed an 18% service charge. The service was good, but I'd rather be the one to make that decision. Why must they fine me for walking in with six other customers. This one will get five stars for all of you going in groups of less than 5. If you go with a large group, take away a star. It's just not fair.

Went last week and wanting to go again as soon as I can!! Service was super quick and food portions were excellent. My sister and I both had leftovers the next day. Highly recommend the lomo saltado (as it's the classic Peruvian meal) and the aguadito (soup perfect for the cold weather). Arriba Peru!

Es uno de los mejores restaurantes a los que fuimos con mi esposo, desde la atención, el ambiente y ni hablar de la comida por qué estaba increíble y las porciones son enormes, definitivamente una experiencia que da ganas de repetir

Delicious! Definitely carb heavy but it tasted delicious! Not cheap but worth the price as serving is super big and workers were kind.

Tons of potential. Reviews are friends of the owner. I saw this with my own two eyes. If the cook or owner know you, the service is beyond amazing. If you walk in and nobody knows you, staff will treat you with careless disregard, and attend to their friends, and not you. This is a buddy's club, do not show face unless you know the cook (Carlito's) or the owner.

Went there to celebrate graduation with my family. We were greeted immediately and were given drinks and appetizer right after. We ordered the lomo saltado and 1/2 chicken with fries and salad. Everything was delicious and the owners were so kind and made sure we were well taken care of!

Excellent Rotisserie Chicken! The Rice was outstanding and reminded me of my Grandmother's rice, I loved it! Friendly staff and Chef.

Food: omg amazing!!! I ordered the tacu lomo and it was so tasty and big portions. The cookies were so amazing too they melt in your mouth Drink: I ordered the chica mirada and it was delicious! Service: very good and the owner even checked on us to see how we liked everything Cute little place and so amazing

Light, citrusy, delicious- Peruvian ceviche is simply best. If you know, you know. Along with delicious fish, the traditional ceviche is served with large kennel corn and a super soft sweet potato. I accidentally ordered 2 entrees on Grub Hub, but that was no problem, I smashed both. The ceviche is a little on the expensive side but we'll worth it in my opinion. Andes is a hidden gem.

Amazing! I went to Peru this past March and saved some Peruvian places on Yelp to try after that! Today I was on the west side and knew I had to try this place. I got saltado de vegetales. It has vegetables, rice, and fries in a delicious sauce. I ate it all so quickly, it was so delicious. Peruvian fried rice sounds good too, I tried that when I was in Peru and liked it so I'd be curious to try it from here too! A little pricey but it's a lot of food and worth it. I would totally recommend!

I went to Miami and had the best South American cuisine. When I got back to Phoenix, I craved it but found that there aren't very many here. I found Andes via Yelp and popped in one night. It wasn't busy cause I think they were closing in an hour so I got my order and food in. I had already known what I wanted cause I looked up their menu and the dish I was craving for -- lomo saltado. Basically, beef, egg, rice, plantains. Over here, they add fries and hotdog. I didn't care for those. The rest was good. It wasn't exactly the same but it'll do. It is far from me so I won't be able to frequent it but I'm glad at least they have it here!

The fried fish is delicious, not as crispy as it could be but wonderfully fresh and tender. The garlic butter rice is a little too salty for my taste but full of flavor! The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

We decided to eat empanadas and so we ordered one of each, we enjoyed very much but the shrimp empanada was our absolute fav. The only thing I wish was that the potions were bigger, we had to order a few rounds of empanadas before we could fill up. For dessert, we had the empanadas (again, I know) with banana and coconut ice cream... omg so so delish! Good music not too loud like other "high end" spots in Scottsdale that try to do too much. They also had a fire performer in the middle of our dinner which added to the ambiance. We sat inside but the outdoor seating also looked nice. During the day this place would have great views of the golf course I imagine. Onto the food, oysters were great quality, fresh but still briny. Had a pineapple mignonette that complimented well. My gf doesn't like oysters but these were small enough for her to enjoy with the added sweetness. Calamari was also solid, had a great chipotle aioli and ginger scallion oyster sauce on the side. The salmon ceviche was a bit of a let down. More like a crudo if you ask me, but still great flavors. Cocktails were great too! The corn mezcal was super unique. Not the biggest mezcal person but it sounded too good to pass up and definitely glad I tried it. My gf got the pisco sour and it was perfectly tart but refreshing. The lobster fried rice was better, but small portions and a very small lobster serving made us wonder how this dish cost $49. We hoped me might finish with a dessert to pick up the mood after a lackluster meal. The salted carmel brownie we decided on wasn't great; tasteless and bland, it just wasn't worth it. All in all, for a two person, $300 meal, there are much better options. Would not repeat and certainly would not recommend.
