Croissant, cheese danish with strawberries , concha, pesto cheese bread loaves
    Antony Z.

Came late morning , picked up an order of assorted items that were randomly selected. All were chilled but after reheating them at home them all came out really good , specifically the cheese bread loaves were really rich but had a really nice end flavor . I do appreciate the home made flavor to everything. Would come back to try what looked like some good cakes / mousses.

YUMMM oh my goodness, luckily the prices are a bit steep, otherwise I would be buying everything every time I went into the store lol. Yesterday I bought a piece of heart marzipan Kringle and it was obnoxiously good, the flakes melt in your mouth and the marzipan is a dream. The service is always personable and attentive and the whole establishment is beautiful and clean. I can't wait to be back to try a $13 slice of cheesecake.

This is one of my favorite bakery with a huge collection of food . They have different types of pastries, breads , sandwiches, salad, soup , coffee . I have tried multiple times and have never been disappointed. Located conveniently inside the oakridge mall , it is one of my frequently visited places . I absolutely recommend it

    Jalapeño cheese bread.

"Warning: Highly Addictive Bread Ahead." If you've never tried the jalapeño cheese bread here, prepare your taste buds -- because once you do, you're basically signing a lifelong contract. They heat it up, cut it into perfect little bite-size squares, and suddenly you're standing in the mall holding what feels like a VIP snack tray. It's dangerously good. This place is spotless, the bread is consistently top-tier, and they've got a whole lineup of cakes and loaves that look like they were crafted specifically to test your self-control. Yes, there's usually only one person working, and during rush hour you might wait a few extra minutes... but honestly, that just builds the anticipation. Think of it as a warm-up for your carb celebration. If you're at Oakridge Mall, do yourself a favor: follow the smell of fresh bread, buy the jalapeño cheese loaf, and welcome your new obsession.

Croissant with meat! . My vegetarian sandwich should have given them a clue NOT to replace my almond croissants with animal flesh ones!
    LANELLE F.

I ordered a VEGETARIAN sandwich because I am a vegetarian. I also ordered two almond croissants. They sent me two MEAT croissants because they ran out of almond ones (I called after receiving my delivered order)! I threw them out, after gagging on meat in the "almond" croissant & vomited my vegetarian sandwich! NEVER will I do business again with Andersen Bakery!! Horrible experience!! So disappointing!

    Strawberry pastry

This is a pretty yummy pastry spot in Oakridge mall... I got this strawberry pastry and it had a sweet custard in the middle. The strawberries were surprisingly SUPER fresh, and I enjoyed it as a whole. For $4.50, it was pretty good. Not the most stellar pastry of course, but it was still enjoyable. The whole experience was nice because it's a nice clean shop with seating area, and the staff seemed friendly. I hope to come back and try some other bakery items sometime!

The bag with "jalapeño cheese bread" inside

This places makes amazing "jalapeno cheese bread". A must try in my opinion! Ask to get it warmed abd sliced to enjoy! The pastries are also decent. I like their chocolate eclairs. I keep coming back here for their jalapeno cheese bread!

    Croissant in open bags

I placed an order for delivery, I added on my notes that they needed to staple the bags before handing them over to the driver. Ubereats have clear guidance on how food should be packaged and 99% of restaurants comply but Andersen Bakery staff just dont care. What dif I get ? paper bags open placed in another plastic bag. Their staff dont read order notes and apparently dont care to change their ways either.

Jagged piece of wood found embedded in loaf of cranberry & walnut bread.
    Dan B.

We purchased a loaf of cranberry & walnut bread from Andersen Bakery in the Oakridge Mall. Consuming it at home, as she was chewing a slice, my wife discovered a jagged piece of hard WOOD approximately half an inch long and a quarter of an inch wide (see photo) embedded therein. My god, had she swallowed that, it might possibly have killed her (getting lodged in her throat).

    Creamy French and international cheese
    Brenda L.

The good: My family has been coming to Anderson Bakery (in the Great Mall) ever since it was formerly Grand 'Dor. My go-tos are the international cheese bread and creamy French bread. Tip: toast it when you get home because it makes it 10x better. I got their half loaf of sourdough bread for $6 and thought it was delicious (toasted as well). I also enjoy their almond croissant-like pastries and fruit pastries. This place is located inside a mall and there is seating outside of it. They also serve cake and rolls. I tried the berry cake roll and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the berries added a nice acidity and freshness. I would order it again. I liked that they had Easter themed pastries as well for the upcoming holiday. I enjoy their berry croissants as well. It's the only place I've seen sell this. They have seating areas right in front. The bad: They don't cut breads for you anymore like they used to (the creamy French and international cheese bread for instance) due to being short staffed. The Easter themed almond tart was just okay. The interesting: They had a poster advertising Asian pastries they sold like Chinese buns. Everything here is definitely tastier when brought home and toasted.

Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

I got the longanisa sando. The bread was just like the typical shokupan you can find in japan. Fluffy, with a hint of sweetness. The sando's meat worked very well with the sandwich. The egg was a very nice combination too. My only complaint is that the egg could've also been fluffier, more soft and raw where egg here was pretty hard and firm. Also, it would've been good to have egg flavored with dashi or more butter, but that's all just my personal preference. The cheese really bind the meat and the egg well. What I have to mention is the habanero sauce (Or I think it was? You can see in the pic the label was kinda washed out so I'm not sure exactly what the sauce was). Perfect amount of spicy kick and a sweetness combined. Using the sauce really took up the sandwich by a notch but it might not be for everyone since it is rather spicy. The staff were very friendly and the inside had a good chill vibe with good back ground music. I'd definitely want to be back to try out more!
