Our bank showed that the transaction went through, but the owner insisted that he had not received the payment. He asked us to run the card again, suggesting that if we were charged twice, perhaps our bank would credit one of the charges. We called our bank, and the bank confirmed that we had already been charged and told us they could not simply reverse the transaction. At that point, we decided not to take our food and to leave. Because the owner was claiming he hadn't received our payment, I specifically asked him to simply write on a piece of paper that we were leaving without receiving our order. I wanted documentation showing that we had not received any food in case we needed to dispute the charge. He refused to put that in writing. He repeatedly told us that this had never happened in his 20 years in business, even though this restaurant is under new ownership. When we continued trying to resolve it, he told us it wasn't his problem, told us to call the police, and refused to work with us. We ultimately disputed the charge with our bank because we were charged approximately $30 and received no food. What makes this situation even more upsetting is that, according to the information we subsequently received through our dispute, the merchant responded by claiming that we DID receive the food. We did not.

Okay, to start, I'd like to say that the pizza is really good. I eat gluten free, so we ordered three gluten free pizzas on New Years Eve. Best gluten free pizza I've had so far. This past weekend they had a deal for the Super Bowl: Buy 2 Get 2 Free. I wanted to get 8 pizzas, but the code only applied to 2 pizzas. I texted their number, 200-03, and they said that their is a limit per order, but I could try placing two orders. Okay, cool. Placed the first order at 4 something, pickup time 7:10 P.M. While I'm placing the second order, I get a text saying "Pizza=ready. Hope you're ready for delicious." I messaged them saying that my pickup time was 7:10 P.M. They said that they knew and that every time their machine prints out the receipt, it sends an auto-text. They also said that it will be ready at my set time. Wonderful. I placed the second order. I get there at 7:10, and they only have my second order ready. I tell them that I had another 4 pizza order. One of the employees, Cody, says that those pizzas were thrown away after an hour of ordering, and he wasn't really aware of anything else since they were made before he got there. I repeated what I did and he says that they don't get those texts. He asks if I had the receipt. I show him, he shakes his head, and starts filling out order tickets to make the pizzas again. At this point my dad comes in and asks for a manager. The manager knew less than everyone else in there. Cody comes back, and my dad asks why they didn't call if the pizzas were waiting... They don't have phone lines. They have no means of communication with their customers. Anyways, the pizzas are made, Cody comes out with the pizzas in a tote bag and puts the 2nd order pizzas in another bag. We thank him and leave. Get home, and find out that the pizzas weren't placed alternating sides because they have offset boxes, and a couple pizzas' toppings were completely slid off. Then I check the pizzas, and they also got one pizza topping wrong. It was supposed to be cheese-less, because my dad and brother cannot have dairy, but they put cheese on it. We ate them anyways since we were already home, and the cheese was enough to remove without being overly messy, but it was still not great. Pizzas were great, but service and communication issues, not so much. Was expecting more from this chain. UPDATE 2/04: I contacted 200-03 with this review, and was compensated $11 in credit. I hope this doesn't happen next time. read more

This is some of the best pizza I have ever had. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. While in DC I'm always on the go and the lines are always long. My mom was in town and we had not ate lunch. It was conveniently in the mall. We split a pizza and I'm glad we did because it was fulfilling especially for lunch. I'm not hard to please when i comes to pizza my toppings were simple pepperoni, red peppers, bacon and mozzarella cheese. My mom is not a big pizza fan and she said it was the best she had ever tasted. It is not heavy and at the same time delicious. I will definitely be eating here again. It is under $10 and the best $10 I have ever spent. : ) read more

Great to vegans! I've never been to a place that pays such great attention to vegan items. They are very sanitary and clean the area and ensure no animal products touch the pizza. I feel especially bad when there's a longer line and I order a vegan pizza ( sorry guys :(((( !) but they always do it with the best attitude. I know its more of a hassle but I truly appreciate their attention to this. I always create my own pizza and they always load me up. I love this concept and everything taste super fresh and delish. Went back for dinner last night with my in laws and relatives for dinner the line was very long but it's moving faster and when we got to the line i told the asian lady by the dough are i brought back more people but its their first time she greeted us with a warm smile and explained every details of how to create their pizza she was patiently explaining to us and how it could be excited to create our own pizza.My mother in law was very excite and impressed of how their pizza was made.Again to the management and staff thank you for an awesome service !!! read more

a Asian guy with glasses and a black bandanna got mad at me for asking him to take off the tomato's. idk what his problem was. It's my first time here and he gave me an attitude. he told me to grow up because I didn't want tomato's on my pizza. he needs to learn how to understand a customers wants and needs and not cuss him out just because he doesn't like something. never coming back for bad customer service rude employees. whoever that guy is does not deserve a job for cussing me out for just taking off tomato's. read more

Pizza is amazing! Management not so well. I have a friend who works here and has worked at another location as well for a few years now. There's constant miscommunication, seems like shift leaders are over worked usually, overall I feel like employees are treated unfairly sometimes :( it's sad and I think management should really review this and fix problems they not only have with just the customers but with employees as well. This place is great. It might take you a couple of time to figure out what you like my advice is go for the thing you have not heard of at least on / in pizza. I'm a big fan of the ancient grains crust. The craft soda fountain is amazing. The only place I know of in the area with free refills on craft soda. Line may be long but move fairly quick. Great location, great pizza. For $10-14 you can get a large pizza with basically any sauce, cheese, toppings, and finishers with a house made soda. For me, I always get the truffle and spicy sauces, pulled motz, all the meats, jalepenos and spinach, some extra sauces or cheese, and a passionfruit soda. I said ok so like 10 mins or half an hour as I'm hosting the party? And here he said: it will be done when it's done. I'm one person and got your order for 5 pizzas 15 mins ago! I said I put the order the day before and asked if something was wrong with their app that he didn't get it, to try and understand the comment. He continues to say he's making it and it will be done when it's done. No apology. No I just need 10 more mins. Nothing. Just a big attitude. It didn't take long. 10/15 mins so that's not my complain. It's the attitude that left me speechless .

Wow, on the customer service. I walked in on Friday around 11am. The door could be wiped down a little better. Tables were clean, restrooms were nice and detailed. I'm big on the little things esp the chips! The chips were well organized! Omgoodness! That's the first thing i noticed as I've had experiences at other firehouses were they had expired chips in the back when it should be moved to the front and new ones in the back. I was greeted by the GM, he didn't know I been to many locations and quite a fan of this Sorensen brothers company. He greeted and treated me with personality. I usually get the Italian and I decided to try the hook and ladder instead. I'm big on my sandwiches as I've had bad experiences before at other locations when they don't listen to your needs. My sandwich It's not sloppy and prob one of the best attention to detail to their customers needs! Exactly how i wanted my sub! Usually you can tell if people are about the passion of the company and the want to serve the community and it's customers. They are all about that. I really enjoyed the vibes here. The GM even let me keep a bag of chips.. What I truly enjoy about the customer service above and beyond is experience is that the GM came around the front to personally hand my sandwich to me by name! Now, that's a 5 stars from me as I look for that in every fast food sandwich place and in every firehouse!
