I stopped the other day after running to the library across the street for some much-needed information. The staff was indifferent and they weren't nice or mean It was like talking to a robot, but I understand life is strange. I asked a few questions and ordered the white pizza with shrimp. I got a drink and everything tasted amazing. The space was cold and uninviting like a elementary school cafeteria so I just ate in the car.

I've gotten takeout at this &pizza a couple times and it hasn't disappointed me. This gourmet, create your own pizza shop is high on my list especially because they offer vegan cheese and it taste sooo good! You can choose your dough, sauce, cheese, toppings, and finishes. They have fun drizzles. They also have gluten free dough. They're one of the best quality pizza chains in terms of options. Most recently, I ordered the traditional dough, with classic red sauce, vegan cheese, bacon, Italian sausage, chicken, pineapple, caramelized onions, topped with arugula and the hot honey drizzle. Honestly, they forgot my drizzle but the pizza was so delicious anyway, that I couldn't stop eating. I have had the hot honey drizzle in the past and it's tasty. This location does have some inside seating but it was pretty bare when I came. I'll likely stick to to-go orders.

This is conveniently located at the corner of Fenton and wavery and a quick go to place before or after your movie at the nearby Regal. The staff is nice and patient while you choose your pizza with the huge number of unlimited toppings and variety of sauces. You can also take one of their standard pizzas(The Hits as they call it). This is better than Mod pizza and also prized a tiny bit higher (justified). I do like their & soda (can) options. I'm yet to try all the varieties but mango passion fruit has been my favorite so far.

If I could eat &Pizza every day...I would! I mean he#! (heck..lol) why not, their pizzas meet the standards of the USDA food pyramid. I mean despite the calories, I can get all my nutritional needs all met in one place and in one meal: meats, veggies, dairy, fruits, and grains! WHAT!? Holla, if you feel me! LOL. And, a $5 pizza reward offer this week sweeten the deal for me to stop into this place for a dinner pickup. THE VIBE Modern space, friendly helpful staff, and great prices. You walk in and will be immediately greeted. Next, you choose your crust, sauce, veggies, meats and cheese. You can make your own pizza as healthy or extremely indulgent as you'd like. And, I am not kidding....this place keeps it real!! They are very generous on the toppings...unlike Chipotle! Oops...sorry...I digress. Once satisfied with your choice of toppings, in goes your pizza into a giant commercial-sized 'Easy Bake' Oven for a brief few minutes. By the way, if you are not feeling like being creative, there are several classic and vintage house pizzas on their menu to choose from. THE FOOD For the extreme carnivore, like myself, I was able to create a twisted pizza of epic proportions. I ordered: "THE MAVERICK" PIZZA -- A true "Meat-Lovers" pizza.... Classic tomato, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage, pesto, parmesan.....PLUS+++ I customized it with everything but the kitchen sink....Pepperoni * Spinach * Bacon * Meatballs * Cherry Peppers * Green Peppers * Spinach * Onion * Roma Tomato * Fresh Mozzarella Balls * Tomato Sauce * Rosemary * Chili Oil!! Imagine all that baked goodness in one bite! See pics as reference. And, if that was not enough, the finishing toppings brought my pizza to a joyous climatic end....*Cigarettes not included; but a box to take it home is! TO SUM IT UP No matter what you order at &Pizza, if you're trying to stick to a healthy diet, you'll need to adhere to one important rule: "Don't eat the whole damn thing"...but that's impossible when coming here! P.S. Thanks to this place....I almost got a speeding ticket and deer endangerment driving points on Rock Creek Parkway...because I was driving like a bat out of he!# and couldn't wait to get home to crush my pizza. :-)

When &pizza sends you an email and tells you they miss you AND entice you back with a $3.00 pizza offer, you don't pass it up. It was a beautiful day for strolling around Downtown Silver Spring. Labor Day to be exact, which also meant free parking! It's also my birthday month so I wanted to cash in on some birthday deals. The pizza place was deserted except for one guy immersed in something at his table. I started with the New G pizza AKA a margarita pizza. However the woman at the register finished it off for me with feta and black olives. Perfection! It was hot and cheesy. The crust was perfect. The fig and pear soda is really good too. I'll most likely be back around my actual birthday. Only draw back of dining in is the really loud music, but I was alone so it didn't bother me too much.

&Pizza is the Five Guys of Pizza! There's lots of competition and everyone has their favorite; however, &Pizza wins for the number of customizable options. &Pizza debuted its Silver Spring location two months ago and the place has been hopping ever since. I decided to check this place out last Friday evening and apparently so did everyone else. I arrived at a quarter to eight and there were already fifteen people ahead of me in line to place an order. There was a separate cluster of people waiting to collect Uber Eats orders. The ordering line moved slowly because the people ahead of me were buying multiple pizzas. The Uber Eats pickup line also moved at a snail's pace. Customers were able to stand about two feet apart from the person in from of them as they waited to place their order; however, the Uber Eats pickup area was crowded. There were a few tables in the restaurant and no chairs. This created additional standing room. The long wait allowed me sufficient time to study the rotating menu on the flat screen TV in the restaurant and solidify my order before I approached the counter. The large picture windows offered me a clear view of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue while I waited to place my order. By the time I got to the counter, I expertly placed my order for two pizzas: one with spicy tomato dressing, vegan sausage, cheese, chickpeas, arugula, banana peppers, fig balsamic dressing and the other with basil pesto, vegan sausage, beef meatballs, jalapeño, chickpeas, broccoli, pineapple, banana peppers, arugula, black pepper, and hot honey. The restaurant had most of the toppings I wanted; however, a few of them (such as the pickled red onions) looked lackluster. I was disappointed that this location did not offer several of the ingredients that I'm accustomed to seeing on an &Pizza menu, such as the mushroom truffle, garlic ricotta sauce, and kale. I hope these ingredients are eventually added to the menu. The employees prepared each pizza in an efficient assembly-line fashion. The actual ordering and payment process took about five minutes; however, my overall wait time was thirty minutes. Hopefully this was an anomaly. Payment via Toast was quick and easy and the pizzas were delicious!

Yum yum...&pizza was calling my name so I had to go and answer it. Walked in to this corner store front location and it was cool. Music was lively and there were a few ppl eating inside. I'm a chatty Patty so I started to strike a convo with the young fellow who was fixing my pizza. I crafted two pizzas and my mouth watered as I watched in awe of how it was being built. The guys that were working this day, was kind of blah. I'm used to more personality from the staff at other locations. BUT I was taking the pizza home, not them so I got over it The pizza was delicious. I tried the hot honey drizzle bcuz they said they don't carry the fig anymore(BUMMER). Hot honey didn't give the taste I was looking for but again I ate it and my stomach was happy.

Safe to say I am never going back to this place again. I ordered my food for pick up durning non rush hours, and when I went to there to pick it up the whole store was empty. It would make sense if the store was busy for my pizza to come out this awful, but two employees in an empty restaurant have no excuse for serving me such an awful pizza. Initially after seeing the pizza I was concerned, is doesn't look like that in the pictures. And why is it so soggy? Did they add too much sauce by accident? I decided perhaps it tastes better than it looks, I had one bite followed by instant regret. My friend was shocked to even see a pizza look like this, he even wondered if that was mold on the pizza. I just cannot see how someone could make something this awful and think it's okay to serve to customers.

This is one of the best &Pizza's in the area. I always chose to come to this one because the customer service is top notch and they know how go make a pizza. The pricing is fair, the toppings always fresh, and the staff is amazing. We were greeted as soon as we came into the door and promptly helped. D'Kari & Kevin made the pizza and garlic knots look super delicious. I know the food is always going to be delicious even before I take my first bite. read more

Was so excited to have an &Pizza in Silver Spring! I ordered delivery from their site. I tried this feature when they first opened, so was happy it's all set up. Super easy to use. The pizza was delicious! I haven't had &Pizza for awhile, and was super disappointed to see they took off the Gnarlic...so I just made my own. Delivery was pretty good, about 10 minutes later than the app said..but not too bad. Since I did delivery I never went in the store. Unless you live downtown and can walk, it seems like such a pain to park to pick up since it's on such a busy street corner. read more

As a new Marylander I'd never eaten at an &pizza before I visited this downtown SS location last Friday. I've been to other similar concept pizza restaurants though. I'm actually a bit torn on how to review, but I'll give it a 4 because the pizza I ordered was actually quite good. I got the American Honey, I wanted to sub arugula for black olives but get this, they don't actually have black olives. They have those shitty kalamata olives that no one actually likes but sound fancy, and even worse, they were going to put them on after they cooked the pizza. No one actually told me they didn't have black olives though - when I asked for the sub the guy said "tell them over there you want the olives".. then put my pizza in the oven. Once I got "over there" I noticed there weren't even black olives anyway. I know not everyone likes black olives but they're a pretty standard pizza topping so it was jarring they weren't available and that apparently the pizza guy doesn't know there are different kinds of olives, and that olives on pizza should be cooked. Yes, I know this is making me sound like a Karen, I'm really not, but I've been eating olives on my pizza for probably 45 years, so I'm pretty good at it. Note, I'm still giving them the 4... Anyway. The next problem I have is they had no sugar free options on the soda fountain, which I didn't see until I'd already purchased a fountain soda. I'm diabetic (well controlled, fortunately), so I really shouldn't have tried the black cherry not-diet cola on the soda fountain, but I did. It was really tasty. Probably because of all the sugar. But, not having diet sodas / juices / what have you is a big no no to me. Because in addition to pizza requiring olives, it has to be consumed with soda. Anyway again. The third issue I have is holy crap the seating here sucks. Little tiny stools for size 2 people or toddlers. They really don't want you eating in I think, and certainly don't want you staying for a moment longer than it would take to do so. With all that in mind, I'd say &pizza for me would be a takeout only place, so I can drink a diet soda, sit in a comfy chair, cry about missing the olives... but it's in DTSS which is not a convenient place to go pick up takeout when you don't live right there because parking. If there was an &pizza in the burbs a reasonable distance from my house, I'd probably get takeout once in awhile. But I don't think there is, so I'm unlikely to get it much if ever unless I'm in someone else's neighborhood. But, they still get a 4 because the pizza was good, better than any of the other fast-casual places like Blaze or Mod. (I do like Blaze though, haven't been to one since I moved here, but they have All The Toppings...including my beloved olives ! ) read more

Like a subway but for flatbread pizza. 5-10 minutes and you're out the door. Eat in or take out. They also have three bread (knots) type deals, vegan garlic, cheesy, and sweet cheesy chocolate icing. I got the American Honey on my first visit. I should have asked for light honey. It was a bit too much for me. I was starving though, so no big deal. I also got a huge thick chocolate cookie that should have been shared. My second visit I got the vegan garlic knots and the buffalo 66. I enjoyed the pizza wasn't as spicy as I was hoping, but it was satisfying. I don't know what was wrapped inside the knots but I didn't like the texture too much. I would order the knots again with two changes. First, no inside filling, second would be an additional marinara sauce cup. When I'm in the area again with limited time I will order from here again. read more

Honestly someone has to say it but bring the OLD staff back! This used to be my favorite & pizza spot but now it's my least favorite. I came in today ordered my usual a dirty bird it was so undercooked and nasty. All the toppings were light and these new workers cannot cook for sh*t. I mean just take a look for yourselves. Don't order online. Walk in. Waited 2 hours... Didn't get the correct pizza. Held hostage bc I ordered online. Ordered 2 pizzas online at 640 for pickup at 720.... 840 and the pizza was still not ready. Was given 1 correct pizza and 1 incorrect pizza. Online orders were being neglected as walk in orders were being completed. At 845 When asking for the 1 pizza that was completed, I was told by an employee " I don't give a f#@* about this job, you need to wait" I just wanted something to eat after waiting there patiently since 720. Unfortunately and pizza makes banging pizzas. This location was not managed properly Friday eventing, 3/12/21 Online ordering should have been shut off. They were so backed up. it's faster to walk in and order, don't order online. read more

Literally the most disgusting pizza I've ever had in my life. Couldn't even finish a slice. I got a make your own pizza and they forgot one of my toppings which would have been fine if the dough wasn't sooooo bad. I didn't even get gluten free I got the ~original dough. Sadly I also got the garlic knots which were as repulsive as the pizza. How bad do you have to be to fuck up garlic knots?! I do not recommend going here ever. read more

Visit 20Feb21 (~4pm, not busy) - Since 2016 I mostly went to the Pike & Rose location (from Silver Spring) for my &pizza fix. Now, I'm really happy there's one just minutes from my home. It's smaller than other locations and seemed to have more staff. I got my favorite and got a chocolate chip cookie as well. Friendly staff, quick service and good pizza as usual. Will definitely return fairly often. read more

"Terribly Disappointing." First, I would like to take a moment to welcome the AndPizza pizza chef to Earth, because he has apparently just arrived from Mars or some other planet where he has never seen pizza before in his life. The proportions of ingredients were drastically off: by weight, the pizza was 92% bread, 4% pepperoni, 1% cheese, and 1% tomato sauce. If you had ever seen pizza ever before in your life, anywhere, in any country on earth, it would not look like this. This pathetic mockery of pizza, this sham of a meal, ill-conceived and poorly-constructed, should never have seen the light of day. My advice to &Pizza is: understand that pizza should have TOPPINGS and INGREDIENTS, not be made of ninety-plus-percent bread, and not cont ain only the merest hints and suggestions of cheese (0.5 ounces for the whole pizza(off by a factor of 10) and sauce (again, less than half an ounce -- about two teaspoons -- for the entire pizza). That disaster of a recipe will never touch my taste buds ever again at any point in the future. I could certainly make far superior pizza at home -- and I definitely will. There is nothing that could convince me to return to this vendor who provided this ridiculous joke of a substitute pizza. I will make pizza at home that is 60% bread, 20% cheese, 10% sauce, and 10% pepperoni, and it's going to be about a thousand times better than this utter disappointment which was so epic I will be telling tales about it for years to come. The fact that they don't have any idea, no clue whatsoever, about "what is pizza" or "how do you make pizza" makes me weep for the future. read more

great pizza/flat bread. staff were careful with putting together the product and they seemed to have been trained well. I would have bought another pizza, but they were not taking transactions at the VIP event. Will definitely return. The cost might be a little higher than other chain restaurants, but the quality of ingredients is superior. On a side note, A customer ahead of me was interviewed outside and said he never had &pizza and that he wanted to support local shops and not big chains like &pizza... Can't please everybody... Anyway, we love this place and glad we don't need to travel to Bethesda or Columbia heights anymore! read more

New spot just opened in DTSS and the service as great. Ordered the Maverick which is kinda their meat lovers and added mushroom, onions, and fig preserve spread. It was so good! I really like the fountain sodas, the root beer and mango passion fruit, were my favorites. Would definitely return again! read more

I love this location and the design! Pretty and perfect spot in the corner. I placed my order via app and order was ready within 15 minutes. Food was super, duper HOT!!!!! Just like I like it! Food was amazing and just overall perfect! The staff sits in one area together conversating and not doing there job. 3 out of the 4 pizza's ordered was good. My niece's pizza was missing the bacon and they put the wrong sauce flavor on it. She was very disappointed. This place has so much potential, however, if the crew does not step and pay attention, it will fail. There is too much competition out here for petty mistakes. We will try the new Laurel location on Sunday when they open. I will not be returning to Silver Spring location. read more

Amazing! Finally a great pizza stop in downtown Silver Spring since Gusto closed we've gone to Mod out of desperation, only to be disappointed ( sorry Mod, but your pizza is mediocre and customer service is nonexistent). &pizza makes great pizzas and everyone there is pleasant. Yay ! read more

They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. I recently ordered a pizza from &Pizza located downtown Silver Spring and I was very disappointed. The pizza itself was meh, and the restaurant was dirty. The pizza was often burnt, and the service was slow. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
