So, not really sure what to call this place, but the name is "&Pizza." It's a shockingly good pizza for $12 (and that's the gimmick - all pizzas are $12). My partner and I went one evening on a whim since it was kind of late and this place was still open. You order on a giant tablet, and then sit down and wait (or take your pizza to go). As mentioned, all pizzas are customizable and all $12. The pizza quality is pretty good, I wonder if the price is just a gimmick to get people to come-in and they will go up later, or what, but it's a decent pizza at this price. They aren't huge, but it is plenty for one person, and they are made fresh to order, so no pre-frozen processed pizza junk that is just reheated. I will definitely go back again. Service is minimal since most of the interaction takes place via the tablet, although the staff that were there seemed annoyed to even have customers and were not remotely friendly, but I ultimately didn't care because the pizza was a good price. The atmosphere is sort of "upscale fastfood chic" if that's even a thing. Definitely recommend! read more

Stopped by recently for a mobile order. If you have the app, they have regular deals that are sent via email and text! The area around here is under construction, so parking is horrible. My order was ready upon pickup. It just wasn't as great as I remember from previously visiting this location. I probably won't be in much of a hurry to return to this one. read more

I've gotten takeout at this &pizza a couple times and it hasn't disappointed me. This gourmet, create your own pizza shop is high on my list especially because they offer vegan cheese and it taste sooo good! You can choose your dough, sauce, cheese, toppings, and finishes. They have fun drizzles. They also have gluten free dough. They're one of the best quality pizza chains in terms of options. Most recently, I ordered the traditional dough, with classic red sauce, vegan cheese, bacon, Italian sausage, chicken, pineapple, caramelized onions, topped with arugula and the hot honey drizzle. Honestly, they forgot my drizzle but the pizza was so delicious anyway, that I couldn't stop eating. I have had the hot honey drizzle in the past and it's tasty. This location does have some inside seating but it was pretty bare when I came. I'll likely stick to to-go orders. read more

The staff is nice and patient while you choose your pizza with the huge number of unlimited toppings and variety of sauces. You can also take one of their standard pizzas(The Hits as they call it). This is better than Mod pizza and also prized a tiny bit higher (justified). I do like their & soda (can) options. I'm yet to try all the varieties but mango passion fruit has been my favorite so far. read more

When &pizza sends you an email and tells you they miss you AND entice you back with a $3.00 pizza offer, you don't pass it up. It was a beautiful day for strolling around Downtown Silver Spring. Labor Day to be exact, which also meant free parking! It's also my birthday month so I wanted to cash in on some birthday deals. The pizza place was deserted except for one guy immersed in something at his table. I started with the New G pizza AKA a margarita pizza. However the woman at the register finished it off for me with feta and black olives. Perfection! It was hot and cheesy. The crust was perfect. The fig and pear soda is really good too. There's lots of competition and everyone has their favorite; however, &Pizza wins for the number of customizable options. &Pizza debuted its Silver Spring location two months ago and the place has been hopping ever since. I decided to check this place out last Friday evening and apparently so did everyone else. I arrived at a quarter to eight and there were already fifteen people ahead of me in line to place an order. There was a separate cluster of people waiting to collect Uber Eats orders. The ordering line moved slowly because the people ahead of me were buying multiple pizzas. The Uber Eats pickup line also moved at a snail's pace. Customers were able to stand about two feet apart from the person in from of them as they waited to place their order; however, the Uber Eats pickup area was crowded. There were a few tables in the restaurant and no chairs. This created additional standing room. The long wait allowed me sufficient time to study the rotating menu on the flat screen TV in the restaurant and solidify my order before I approached the counter. The large picture windows offered me a clear view of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue while I waited to place my order. By the time I got to the counter, I expertly placed my order for two pizzas: one with spicy tomato dressing, vegan sausage, cheese, chickpeas, arugula, banana peppers, fig balsamic dressing and the other with basil pesto, vegan sausage, beef meatballs, jalapeño, chickpeas, broccoli, pineapple, banana peppers, arugula, black pepper, and hot honey. The restaurant had most of the toppings I wanted; however, a few of them (such as the pickled red onions) looked lackluster. I was disappointed that this location did not offer several of the ingredients that I'm accustomed to seeing on an &Pizza menu, such as the mushroom truffle, garlic ricotta sauce, and kale. I hope these ingredients are eventually added to the menu. The employees prepared each pizza in an efficient assembly-line fashion. The actual ordering and payment process took about five minutes; however, my overall wait time was thirty minutes. Hopefully this was an anomaly. Yum yum...&pizza was calling my name so I had to go and answer it. Walked in to this corner store front location and it was cool. Music was lively and there were a few ppl eating inside. I'm a chatty Patty so I started to strike a convo with the young fellow who was fixing my pizza. I crafted two pizzas and my mouth watered as I watched in awe of how it was being built. The guys that were working this day, was kind of blah. I'm used to more personality from the staff at other locations. Started from the bottom and now we here! This &pizza location is WORLDS AHEAD from where things started when it first opened! Lol. Seriously. The initial stages here were ROUGH. Staff were not friendly, and I consistently dealt with missing ingredients on my mobile orders. For a minute, I constantly toyed with the idea of writing a 2-star review, but something told me to give them a 37293727th chance. I'm guessing management must have taken notice because the bad staff got replaced lmao and now everyone here has bomb customer service and orders are always fresh! I'm still wary of doing mobile orders because I'm very sensitive about my basil, and I swear mobile orders gets .00002% on their pizzas. Lol However, whenever I run into serious issues at &pizza, I shoot their customer service team a text (yes, they really do text back), and it's all good! Safe to say I am never going back to this place again. I ordered my food for pick up durning non rush hours, and when I went to there to pick it up the whole store was empty. It would make sense if the store was busy for my pizza to come out this awful, but two employees in an empty restaurant have no excuse for serving me such an awful pizza. Initially after seeing the pizza I was concerned, is doesn't look like that in the pictures. And why is it so soggy? Did they add too much sauce by accident? I decided perhaps it tastes better than it looks, I had one bite followed by instant regret. My friend was shocked to even see a pizza look like this, he even wondered if that was mold on the pizza. We just moved into the neighborhood and the first theming we wanted to do was try &pizza around the corner. Boy did it not disappoint! The hot knots were beyond amazing - love the fact that they are thin and not too doughy, the cheese and jalapeños in it make the knots 100 times better! We also tried the American Honey which will definitely be a go-to for us. I'm not a fan of sweetness in my savory food, but wow, the use of the hot honey in this is just perfect. Unfortunate unsatisfactory... brace yourself. The first order my spouse and I did through mobile. When we went to pick up we had a little bit of a wait but not too bad, however they did forget to put our soda in the bag. We had already made it home and didn't feel like running back out for a soda, even though it was 2.95. However, our pizza was delicious. Today, I did a mobile order... the associate managing the flow kept checking on my order and noticed for some reason it kept getting bumped down. I waited in the store about 45 minutes before she asked me if I could go through the line & they would make my pizza because she noticed I had been waiting for awhile (great job on her part). However, the associate making my pizza was extremely stingy adding everything on the pizza and not paying attention when taking my order. I asked for more cheese & she responded I'll add more later & my pizza went in the oven. It came out and another associate had my pizza for the "toppings" there was literally a sprinkle of cheese on my pizza. I told him, I had asked her for more cheese and he shook his head & asked if I would like him to make me another one. At this point, I had already been in the store for over an hour (don't you order pizza because it's quick?!) so I said no.. are you able to just add cheese and put it back in? He agreed but the manager (I assume) comes over.. adds cheese and puts it in front of him and says what toppings do you want... I stated.. can you put it back in the oven, that cheese isn't melted... He did but definitely with an attitude. Next, when the "drizzle" was put on top of my pizza... it was more like a pour (you can see it on the picture I posted). At this point, I should have just canceled my order all together but I was hungry and just wanted my pizza. Throughout this all, there was about 9-10 associates working and only about 4-5 of them actually working (these were busting their ass while the others were standing around talking). Update: I texted &Pizza at 20003 about my disappointing experience and they understood my frustration. Not only did they refund me, they even added my $5 off pie reward I had used back to my account. That makes up for my less than stellar experience, thank you! --------- I placed this order online for pickup and was about 20 minutes late actually arriving to the store. I was very disappointed to learn that the knots were not ready when I arrived and needed to wait almost 30 minutes until they were ready... It takes me that long just to drive to this location! When they were finally ready, they were not what I had ordered! I even spoke to a staff member about my order and it was still messed up! I was beyond frustrated to say anything because at that point I just wanted to get home. I won't be returning to this location based on my experience and the fact that there are other &Pizza restaurants closer to me. I also wanted to add that the pickup area was extremely packed and although staff members were asking customers to socially distance, there was not enough room to safety do so. The restaurant should consider adding more square footage to the pickup area since the majority of the store is dedicated to the order line as well as the seating (which is closed due to the pandemic). read more

Went in on a Tuesday night not long before closing time...the place was empty. I was greeted promptly and helped. A young man made an online order (I assumed) and mine same time. I got a "meat lovers" ( Italian sausage, bacon , pepperoni, salami) w/ classic sauce, shredded blend, olive oil/ garlic drizzle (lots) on traditional crusts w/ a side of the AMAZING truffle ranch dressing to dip! Anything w/ truffle flavor is a winner in my ! My was hot, crispy crusts and the pie was PACKED full of flavors working together for a "yummy in the tummy" type experience. The business was clean, staff very friendly and attentive ! Hours: Sun-Thurs 11am- 11pm... Fri/Sat = 11am-12am! It's right in Downtown Silver Spring, a few doors away from El Sapo! The staff were all wearing masks, gloves being very careful and COVID-19 safe. Customers MUST WEAR MASKS ! Usually I'm not a big fan of build your own pizza places, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I was in the mood for some pizza and I heard that an &pizza had opened up in Silver Spring, so I went to check them out. I placed an order in person and I was glad I did so. Their mobile/online orders line was really long! But hey, it's good to see a new place poppin' with customers. It was a little hard to hear the guy making my pie, but that wasn't too big of a deal. I do wish that they had some sort to labels of the toppings on the glass because it difficult to see what was available at times. When I got home, I gave the pizza a try, and it was one of the best custom pizzas I have ever had. Maybe it's my extraordinary taste and selection of toppings ;) or the fresh ingredients and well cooked pizza. Probably the latter, though haha. Stopped in here to check out the new location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. What was most noticeable was how much case was taken in making our pizzas. I've never been to another location where they made sure the toppings were so perfectly laid out for optimum enjoyment. My only critique is I wish there was an easier way to see what the toppings are. They're all listed on a screen, but the screen rotates so it's really hard to get a lay of the land while you're ordering. I wish they'd have either signs or still screens. read more

Not sure if I am a fan of this location and here's why: 1) It was VERY difficult to hear what your server is asking and vice versa due to the exhaust fan and loud music playing. I do not think I am hard of hearing at age 24, so I do not think it was just me? It was a bit tiring to yell out what toppings I wanted and I'm sure the server were too. 2) I hope they put labels on the toppings in the future because it was my mom's first time and she was not sure what each item was. Plus if we're trying to be covid safe, it would be beneficial to read the labels instead of leaning towards the glass divider to see what was in each tin. 3) A few pieces of the chicken were mushy and rubbery, definitely not fresh chicken served :/ Overall my pizza was good, but the experience ordering was not pleasant. First and foremost  &Pizza can do no wrong no matter the locations they always get it right. I love the simplicity and the cleanliness of each restaurant. Just like most restaurants you must wear a mask and stand 6-feet apart to order inside. You can pay will apple pay or through the app for contactless pay. I love the customization of building your pizza fresh and ready in minutes. I mix and match different toppings every time I visit. I tried one of their homemade sodas, ginger berry lemonade and loved it. The staff is very friendly and the price points are great if you looking for a meal while working from home or to binge-watch TV.
