I've been here three times this week. Each time the food has been delicious and the service has been friendly.

Stopped by yesterday and had a decent pickup experience. I tried to order ahead on the app but there were some issues so I went in person. Parking isn't convenient in this area. If you're lucky you might find a street parking spot. I was not lucky. I ended up in the Whole Foods parking lot. It wasn't super busy at the time. I was able to place my order and was on my way. They're not as generous with their portions here as the other locations I've visited. I would still visit again but it won't be my first choice. read more

I liked that there was a set of ingredients for my lamb and avocado bowl, because I didn't know what to choose being my first visit. When the set ingredients from the card are in, you then get to choose olives, tomatoes, etc to add. I didn't like that you only get a 1/4 size piece of pita with the bowl. read more

The person who took made my order today was absolutely terrible, I was not paying attention as I have been coming here for a couple of months I had no need too. I noticed a new a person today and I told him what I wanted while I was on the phone believe it or not bro gave me the babiest of portions which I didn't realize till I got home. Never have I ever had to ask for more portions for, I had trust that the workers knew what they were doing. Do you expect me to pay 14-20 dollars for something that could feed my 2 year old. And the worst part was that I asked for "HOT HARISSA SAUCE" didn't realize that it was not the sauce I ordered by the time I got home, because this order is for my wife. Just terrible. read more

You work you way down the down selecting ingredients for your meal and over 13+ toppings....like Lentils, Eggplant + Roasted Red Pepper, Harissa, Organic Roasted Garlic Hummus, Olives, Tomatoes, Pickeled Peppers, Cucumbers....Meats: Grilled Chicken, Spicy Lamb Meatballs, Roasted Vegetables Vegetarian options. Think of a Mediterranean version of Chipolte. I typically go for the the Splendid Greens & Rice Bowl with a mix of lentils, hummus-harissa dips, couscous, plethora of veggies...all with the Spicy Lamb Meatballs!....It is nothing but the truth!! A healthy gospel of goodness in a bowl. I opt for the grilled chicken at times with this combination, to change things up every now and then. Update January 2021 If you download the app, you can get your food delivered to your home. They also have curbside pickup. Curbside pickup is located in front of the restaurant. Literally on the opposite side of the movie theater. There should be a sign that points you to the curbside pickup drop station. Also, be sure to join their rewards program where you get points to earn that will eventually lead you to free entrees. In terms of dressing, their harissa vinegarette and garlic dressing are both a good combination. Chicken and meatballs are a good meat combo too. ------------------------------ Tons of garage parking and located in downtown silver spring. The restaurant takes both cash and credit card. Their food quality is very fresh and the staff here are exceptionally friendly. Recommend getting the half salad half rice bowl. It's a good combination between rice and salad. In terms of meats, chicken is the tastiest. The spreads for their hummus are good too. Must try their harissa. It's very spicy. Not great if you are sensitive to spicy food. With the rice bowl, you can request to have the mini pita on the side. They do have drinks (non alcoholic) here which is nice. They do have tons of tables here if you decide to eat inside. This is the most healthiest and delicious guilt free meal I have had in my life. I have spent my lunch money on Cava's Salad bowl 2 weeks straight. The falafel is amazing and when I mix it with chicken and hummus, the flavor hits the roof. Highly suggest this restaurant and cava. read more

Cava is located right in the heart of downtown Silver Spring. I always grab a bowl when I am there running errands. The staff is always super nice and the ingredients are always fresh. The establishment is very clean and they are doing a good job of implementing social distancing. They offer tables outside if you choose to stick around. I ordered my food to go. I miss the days of unlimited toppings and dressings but cava is still one of my favorite lunch options if I'm in the area. It's one of the cleaner and tastier options that doesn't cost $20 (I'm pointing at you sweet green). There's a nutrition calculator to help you be aware of your caloric intake for custom and signature bowls and pita. I don't particularly watch my diet, but at least it's an option. I always get half salad, half rice as my base and falafel as my protein. You used to be able to choose as many toppings and sauces as you like but I guess people like myself may have ruined it so there's a max of four toppings. For the dressing, I believe you choose one. In my defense, I love yogurt and spice so if they come as two different dressings, of course I'd like to get both! Now I mix and match the dips and try different toppings such as olives, feta, cucumber and tomato salad, and cauliflower and quinoa tabbouleh. It seems that the volume of my meal has decreased since I can't go to town with toppings but I still get a piece of warm pita bread to eat with my salad. What used to be two meals is now one meal but I'll get over it because I still love Cava. read more

Although, I came by for lunch with my coworker since we wanted to eat healthier than normal lol. I'm a big fan of toppings and I love the bar to add all the toppings you want. Everything blended together from the red pepper hummus to the tzatziki sauce to the tasty falafel. Also a plus was all the employees being friendly and welcoming.
