    Lobster roll
    Santeri P.

The food I had during my one meal here warrants a four star review. I ordered the lobster roll and was pleasantly surprised in multiple ways. When my order arrived, the plate had two lobster rolls on it for $21. That instantly made me happy. The menu stated that it had a lemon aioli on it and as I bit into my first roll I was happy to see that it had been lightly applied to the inside of the roll instead of dressing the lobster itself with it. This made the entire lobster roll taste light and fresh. I later learned that this is more a Connecticut style of making lobster rolls whereas the ones with the lobster meat coated in mayonnaise is more the Maine style. The fries that accompanied it were nice and crisp. I would gladly eat this meal again and again. They had a nice selection of local craft beers which is something I always look for and appreciate. However, this is also where my one complaint arises. The server did not appear to know much about the beer selection, but I didn't find this out immediately. When I asked about the style of a specific beer he mentioned on draft he hesitated and then stated that it was a New England style IPA. When he served the beer, I could immediately see, smell, and taste that this was not true. In these situations I would much rather have the server admit that they don't know and maybe go check what it is. I don't mind waiting a moment for correct information. As I later found out when I went and sat at the bar after dinner, the beer he brought me was actually a blonde ale which is completely different. The service was overall friendly and prompt. The hostess was cheerful and friendly and the server was polite and attentive. Other than the mistake with the beer, my experience was pleasant and satisfying.

Greek Salad with Salmon added (~$19.00)

While on a business trip, I stayed at the Sheraton Bradley, thus I had several meals here at Concorde. Both of my breakfasts were good. One morning I had an omelet and the next the Wheat Banana Pancakes. Both were fine (read 3 stars) Of particular note though, was a dinner that I got to go one evening: Greek Salad with Salmon added. It was great!! Absolutely perfectly tasting and cooked fish, with a lovely salad!!!! The salad had tons of artichokes and black olives, with fresh lettuce and the perfect amount of dressing.

I go all the time, and every visit hits the same way: comforting, consistent, and full of that small‑town charm you can't fake. The breakfast tacos are my personal obsession packed, flavorful, and somehow both hearty and fresh at the same time. And the chicken cutlet? Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the kind of thing you think about later in the day like a little food daydream. The staff keeps things moving with kindness and ease, and the whole place has that "everyone knows your name" vibe without trying too hard. It's the kind of spot where you settle in, sip your coffee, and feel like you're part of the town heartbeat. If you want a place that serves comfort, community, and seriously good food, Mojo's is it.

This one's a bit further than I normally trek, but decided to try them anyways. Got here early and the place was quiet. The plaza is relatively new and this was the only non-chain I could find there. Wandering in, had the front end lady greet me. Debated on the French toast, but decided to buck the trend and try their tacos. Also ordered a latte, which took a few minutes to make. Coffee is lavazaa which is okay coffee. Coffee wasn't too strong but it also lacked any flavor beyond milk. The tacos did take about 15 minutes to make, and I appreciate the attention but it did takes while to come out. The tacos were actually pretty good! The delay was because they did a heavy burned cheese layer on the tortilla. The avocado creama, creamy eggs, spicy homemade chorizo, and pickled onion lead to a very well balanced and well seasoned bite. Plus they were huge in size but every bite offered a similar experience. If I had to be a stickler, there was a lot of potatoes on each taco. Filler is fine, but I did notice the amount. As a taco, it's a very solid contender to one of the better tacos I've had in ct. the quality is there, the quantity is plentiful, and the price is right. If I only got the tacos, and I was warned that it would be a few minutes to make sure they came out right, then it would be a five-star taco. Because the coffee is okay and there was a bit of a wait, I did dock a star because of it. It's a great place for a local breakfast and lunch spot. So long as you go in knowing that it might take a little bit to get your order then the wait is worth it. The vibe is chill, the food is good to great, and the staff are very nice.

Our server, Chris, produced menus and took drink orders. Although I am a big fan of housemade corned beef hash (and Drago's is exceptional), I was intrigued by one of the numerous specials, "The Pastor" Benny. It consisted of two separate towers of sausage patty on the bottom, then potato pancake, with poached egg and hollandaise sauce on top...and several spices. It was amazing, like a tsunami hitting my taste buds. The potato concoction was perfect, as were the poached eggs. Two of my friends had Granby Oaks, and the 3rd had several ala carte items. All of us were members of the clean plate club. Chris was excellent and efficient, and kept us well-caffeinated. Overall, great food and service, and reasonable prices. One caution...if you come on weekends, probably call in advance to see if they take reservations. They get crowded. 5 pastor benny stars

My wife and I were headed in that general direction on an early Saturday morning and this was the spot I picked. I will say, going in, I knew that breakfast may take some time and that Drago's isn't what I'd call, "diner-quick." That was ok with me because I had time to kill before a loose 9am appointment. It took a bit for us to be acknowledged and seated but I was ok with that. Our waitress was warm and welcoming and though I knew what I was going to order before I even left the house, the specials she rattled off all sounded great. I am obsessed with biscuits and sausage gravy and knew it was on the menu. It's not only on the menu but the staff's shirts all mention the biscuit. DAMN that is a good biscuit. It's a HUGE cheddar and chive biscuit (big enough for a sandwich). Paired with the sausage gravy and my perfect over-medium eggs it was a wonderful meal. My wife had the French Dip benny which she liked but would not order again. She felt the roast beef was a little tough. Hers came with a "loaded potato cake" which was insanely delicious. It's about the size of a crab cake, made with shredded potatoes and was so, so good. Of note-reasonable prices, many vegan, vegetarian and GF options (including vegan meats and cheese). The lunch menu looks really tasty too. I will be back (and I will get both a biscuit and a loaded potato cake to go, in addition to another great meal).

Mon to Sat they open at 5am. I was only 10 minutes away from 6 but I figured they look like a place I'd want to eat at anyway and fate brought me to this awesome establishment. Upon entering it's not too bright and not too dark especially for this hour. The place looks immaculately clean. It's your typical diner feel just a little more modernish with the color scheme inside. Two breakfast bars and the rest booths and tables. Round stools at the bar for seating. The waitress greeted me and I just sat at the breakfast bar. I got a a coffee to start, nice med - dark roast. Not burnt and tasted freshly made, good quality Java to wake you up. Better than Dunkin could offer lol. For my breakfast I decided on the Crazy Good Hash and a side of sausage (they offer links or patties, I love my patties so that's what I chose). First bite was just amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect .. I low key was just thinking it would be the stuff from a can like other diners use but no.. you will not get that here. It was legit fresh corned beef... griddled with hashed potatoes .. it was light and flavorful, crispy crust and soft interior. Not drowning in sodium like the can stuff. The corned beef really just melted in your mouth, so juicy and tender just like a properly cooked corned beef should taste. It was just amazing and I was completely blown away. Paired together with high quality eggs and perfectly toasted with butter toast, there was not one bite left. I couldn't stop eating it. I was almost sad with my last bite .. but I was about to explode anyway since it was a very generous portion. I'm just a glutton when it comes to good savory foods. The sausage patties were great too .. nice crispy and juicy, good flavor profile, not herby like some .. I don't like those but these were great. Please come give this place a try and go for the Crazy Good Hash and Eggs. You won't regret it.

Perhaps their other food is better than what I ordered, which was a combination grinder, but I have to say compared to others that I've had in the area, this seemed more like a 7-Eleven convenience store hoagie with its limited amounts of meat and cheese. The other thing that I'll mention )just because it seems to be a theme at every restaurant that I've been to around 8 PM in this town), everybody seems to be far more concerned about walking out the door two minutes before they're supposed to close is the impression they leave on guests now walk in 20 or 30 minutes before closing time. This will be the third time I've been to some quick family dining establishment in the area that I've had this experience-- I'm gonna offer management the same advice that I've offered to other establishments nearby: If there is a time of day that you want to leave work, you should close your business in whatever time it takes for you to clean in order to make that happen as opposed to risking guest walking in and being made to feel as if their inconveniencing everybody who works there for making the decision to go to your establishment to spend our money.
