Are you moving? Never done it before? READ EVERYTHING BELOW Misha and Roby were fantastic to work with this past Saturday. My former and current landlords BOTH forgot to tell me that I needed a permit to park a moving truck. Then they BOTH forgot to tell me other tenants from each building were also moving out. The move took longer than it should have because the elevator had to be shared with other movers lugging stuff. Moving Checklist: These are mostly things no one told I had to prepare for so here you go. You're welcome. -Parking Permits: Most big cities required it now. Depending on what permit type you need, you might be given special "No Parking" signs with the day and time of your move for you to post on the street. Do it, because moving truck parking tickets are paid by the people moving, not the moving company. I moved from Mid-Wilshire area to Pasadena -Check with your landlord to be sure no one else is moving on the same day as you. If someone else is moving that day, be sure you coordinate so as to not slow each other down with the elevator. -No trucks are allowed on the 110 North...I didn't know this and called my movers ahead of time so they could re-route. The gentlemen who delivered my fridge told me tickets for violations are upwards of $1,000. -Don't buy boxes. Check Craigslist, grocery stores or other businesses for free boxes. I packed a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and last year I moved a whole medical practice and didn't buy a single box. read more

Hiring these guys was money WELL spent. This was our 7th move in 10 years (ugh). Could not even think about asking friends/family to help us again. Searched on Yelp and found these guys....they were awesome! Arrived right on time, prepped and ready to work. They wrapped all the furniture/fragile items, and were extremely careful. Even helped us pack up some last minute odds and ends. Not a thing was broken, not so much as a scratch. The best thing about this company is that it's an ALL INCLUSIVE rate. There are lots of other moving companies who have a cheap "rate" but then when they arrive there is the "oh, by the way, any tape we use is charged, and mileage is charged, and taxes, etc." Before you know it, your estimated $300 move turns into $600 or more. Not the case with these guys. FLAT RATE, no surprises. Highly recommend this moving company, this was our best move ever! read more

This was my first time moving, from my childhood home to a condo building with a small elevator and long hallways. I had plenty of things that needed moving including some heavy and awkward items but Alex and Andrey did an amazing job making it as seamless as possible. They wrapped everything nicely and made sure nothing was damaged. They were super nice and clean cut/good looking guys, friendly and helpful. The whole process was easy start to finish. The minimum is 3 hours while most companies I called had a 4 hour minimum, and the cost was way more competitive than the other companies as well. the window was 9-10am and they showed up promptly at 9am. Hopefully I won't need to move anytime soon but if I do I'll definitely use them again. read more

Elvis Mike and Misha were great! Fast as lightning and very cautious with all our belongings. Every step of the way they worried with us to make sure they were handling our items in the correct fashion. What they did in a couple hours would've take me and some friends a full day. Well worth the price. I'm never going back to U-Haul again!! read more

Kolya and David were excellent! Very efficient, moved quickly, handled our things with care and were very pleasant to work with. I would absolutely recommend this company, and even more specifically these two. SUPER fast and we were all moved in and set up in just a few hours. My ONLY issue was with the management. I tried multiple times to clarify whether or not things could be installed, and I told them I didn't need a truck. For some reason or another they did not relay that message to Kolya and David so they showed up with a truck unnecessarily (which was a pain for them to have to find parking), and then they couldn't install anything because they weren't told to bring a drill. Other than that I had no issues :) read more

Ivan, Kolya, and Nazar moved our stuff for us today. They all did a fantastic job and I would trust their expertise again. This is our second time using the company. They took great care as to do as little damage as possible. They were quite efficient and price was very fair. They were on-time and called ahead of time to give us their ETA. They also asked what was being moved when they arrived instead of assuming and asked where we wanted things placed in the new residence. We are still unpacking and may update as needed but so far very happy. read more

I am usually really bossy and not trusting when I move, but this time Ashot and Kana sincerely put me at ease and I didn't have to do much at all. Two man team - Ashot and Kana - great guys and great work. Ash and Kana arrived on time, had all the materials to help with the handling of my furniture - to the point where I didn't even think was necessary. More than professional, hardworking and efficient. Thanks for a great move. read more

Excellent service. They did everything promised. On time, hard working, efficient and honest. No hidden fees.

I'm not sure how I found Moving Services but they had the best price, were incredibly friendly, could set up the move with only a few days notice, and on the Thursday before July 4th. I was so grateful! An emergency came up when their truck broke down and had to be towed, but their rep called and when he heard the hysteria in my voice mounting, arranged very quickly to have another moving company take over! That went so beyond the call of duty (lots of companies would have just tried to reschedule, which would have been impossible) that I'll be forever in their debt. Accidents happen, it couldn't be helped but they came through with flying colors. I'm going to give another 5-star to Woodland Hills movers who responded to the distress call! Also fantastic... read more

I'm so glad I found Moving Services CA! They were able to accommodate my move with only 2 days notice and the entire process was quick and painless. On the day of the move, Stevie and Kirim were able to load everything quick and efficiently and were both very careful with my belongings. They completed my move in a few hours and were very pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend you ask for them if you're looking for fast and friendly move services. read more

Wow. I wish I could give them more stars. These guys are true professionals, including demonstrating extreme patience with my one million questions and frequent confusion. They were never rude, not once, and always spoke with courtesy and respect. Regarding the move itself, they were on time, wrapped everything carefully, agreed to wrap my paintings themselves, moved me from Los Angeles to the Bay Area, unpacked some things at the house, then moved the rest of the stuff to a storage unit nearby. The storage place opened late so they had to wait maybe an hour for it to open. Did they ever complain? Nope, not once. They even took special extra care with my plant. A two day move and they did everything efficiently and quickly. I can't recommend them highly enough. Fantastic company. I will never move by myself again. read more

The crew of four showed up right on time and got us packed and moved in four hours! This move included an upright piano, which was handled carefully and moved without any damage whatsoever to the house or instrument. Fantastic experience with these guys. They showed up on time, honored a coupon I had, and the two guys busted their butts in spite of the fact that they were working on an hourly rate. They wrapped the things I asked them to without any extra charges and were courteous as well. Hire them, you won't be sorry! read more
