Black bass, wild rice and beans

Service was excellent. Waiters speak English. If that's a plus for you, enjoy. The Black Bass was excellent. I also had a glass of an excellent Mexican Chardonnay. The desert menu is limited and though usually a dessert eater, I did not have any. The atmosphere is casual and refined relaxing.

We stayed at the JW Marriott in Polanco for a wedding. The last time I had been to Mexico City, I had dinner at the other restuarant in Las Alcobas, Dulce Patria, which is another culinary gem. This time we decided to try Anatol. We got a reservation at the beginning of dinner service, so there weren't that many tables full. We ordered a variety of drinks (we went with another couple) and the drinks were fantastic. The service was exceptional, as well as the ambiance. The food we ordered was delicious, a couple of appetizers, some Mac and cheese, and fried cauliflower. Our main dish was a flatbread with pepperoni and honey- incredibly good. We also ordered a corn beef hash sandwich, which was also great. Overall, this little gem in the boutique hotel Las Alcobas is a must!

First time in Mexico City and while I had read a lot buzz about Anatol I wasn't expecting it to be THIS good. Service was absolutely impeccable and while I will say that my bilingual skills helped, I felt that I would have had a similar experience had I not known the language. Food wise: freaking impeccable. Highlights include the burrata cheese crostini, their main chicken dish (this was so clean and simple), their octopus dish, and the beef tartare. But again, there was absolutely nothing that I didn't enjoy. I had the bread pudding for dessert and it was so rich and savory! I cannot recommend this place enough.

I love to try new foods and attempt the local language wherever I go... but still it's impossible to mask dumb: I ordered a delicious bowl of Eggs in Xalapa style tomato broth. It arrived but they brought tortillas.... Ok... maybe I should take the (what appeared to be) scrambled eggs out of the broth and into the tortillas? Maybe add some beans and salsa too? No, of course you cannot make tacos out of soup-- idiota!!!! I had to laugh at myself and only one passing server gave me the Rock's stanky eyebrow as broth squirted everywhere! This place is absolutely stunning. The views by the window, the food presentation, the artwork and decor inside and out: I loved it all. It was especially nice that this whole Palanco area is basically one big green park. Again, my Spanish isn't great and I need much more practice but the waitress and the management were so kind and supportive. I would definitely recommend this place for a solo adventurer but it's quaint and yummy enough for a nice group dinner.

I would've thought Mexico City had great food in general, but that wasn't the case. Was there for four days, ate many meals out and this was the only one I really enjoyed. Too bad the place was so hot and stuffy. It was cooler outside than it was inside. All they needed to do was open some windows. Service was great though.

Being from California, I was surprised to hear that they opened their newest location at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last month. We ordered the tuna tostada that people rave about. It was ok. We could have used some more assertive flavor from acid or spice. I couldn't eat a whole fish (their signature dish), so we went with shrimp in their adobo rub in a taco and fish al pastor. These were also just ok, but the price tags are high for their entrees. I've seen pictures of others fish al pastor with onions and cilantro and that certainly would have added something I felt was missing. The one thing we ordered and loved was their seasonal mackerel ceviche which was in an apple/citrus/olive oil sauce. It was unique and delicious. I think their ceviche and aguachile are probably their strengths, but the cost is pretty high to leave feeling underwhelmed. Honestly, we will be going back to mi compa chava for better seafood

It's in a trendy area and upscale although we came dressed mor casual. It's on the second floor and has amazing ambiance. We ordered the dynamite roll, crispy spicy tuna, truffle salmon, miso soups, caterpillar roll and tuna truffle roll. The truffle roll has to be one of the most amazing rolls I've ever eaten, if you like truffle of course. Everything else was amazing as well. The dynamite roll was great and I highly recommend literally everything we had. They also have great drinks, we had a mexcal maracuja drink and lychee martini as well as hot sake. For dessert we chose the tres leche cake and the truffle ice cream cream brûlée. If I say I have never tastes anything as amazing probably almost in my life as this truffle ice cream!! I know if we would have gone to a restaurant of this magnitude in the states it would have cost double of what we paid here. The service was excellent and Samuel and everyone was so attentive.

Wrong, the food was great, beautiful people seated everywhere and friendly, warm servers. Smoking was allowed in the restaurant. Even though none of our party smoked, the tables were spaced far apart enough that it wasn't an issue. Very, very good sushi/sashimi. Not Masa, Nobu or Morimoto good, but could hold its own amongst most other well regarded Japanese restaurants. Glad we were able to find this so close to our Polanco hotel. If you're looking for good sushi/sashimi in CDMX, you won't be disappointed here.

We were also served a small plate of breads and sauces while we waited for our food. Dante is also in a beautiful neighborhood with a stunning ambience. The only heads up I'll give is that they actually allow smoking in part of this restaurant, and we didn't know that when we were offered a seat out on the terrace. So it was very unpleasant to be enjoying this food only to have someone smoking at the next table. So just be sure when you go (don't let this keep you from going, please!) you specify that if you're in the patio section you don't want to be near smokers. That aside, I will definitely return HUNGRY and will try their other delicious-looking dishes!

They cleared plates promptly, wiped down the table when they noticed it was dirty, when I went to the restroom they traded out my napkin for a clean one and neatly folded it by my plate. We split two dishes and the waiter plated them for us. The meal started with them giving us a bread basket with a variety of different breads as well as salsas. The salsas were delicious. After we split the beef barbacoa and brisket. Delicious. And the highlight of our meal was the dessert. We ordered the chocolate mousse. It was decadent and had little caramels around the plate. I've been dreaming about it ever since 10/10. The atmosphere was sexy and cool, low lighting, sophisticated crowd. I saw groups dining there of 7 or more. Price wasn't too bad either. Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive. Come here if you want a nice dinner with great service and ambiance.
