Lovely cafe! French toast, enchiladas and fresh orange, strawberry mint juice were delightful. I highly recommend!

Lovely outside seating as well as warm tasteful inside tables. Highly recommended for any occasions - with friends, family, dates even solo coffee. Food is amazing at high quality.

Great food and ambiance ! Service was slow! Tried their cappuccino and mexican hot chocolate and they were both sooo good !!! For brunch I had their veggie chilaquiles rojos with eggs and really enjoyed them! My partner had their mole enchiladas and they were the star of our meal! We also had french toast and it was really good. Love the location and ambiance, great for dates, family meals, even solo diners.

5 stars definitely for this little gem of a cafe on a little side road we just walked by and then walked back to. Checks all the boxes of what you want at a great food establishment. Fabulous service, food and setting. Lovely outdoor seating was a perfect place for our last meal in Mexico City . Brunch ! Our server even with a language barrier manages I get us exactly what we needed . He was fabulous. The food rounded out a Mexican weekend of great food with even greater food ! The Mexican eggs here are amazing and so nice and spicy ! The French toast with a fabulous crunchy outside and soft inside. The mushroom toast. Must try. The pastries again so fresh and just melt in your mouth. The jam was house made. The bread and corn tortillas also made in house were just perfect. Our caffeine beverages also on point. Perfect wake up drinks ! Everything here was just top grade and I just wanted to stay for lunch and dinner! The place was just simply adorable too inside and outside . Make this place one you walk right into not past !

Right down the street from the Hyatt hotel in the polanco area of Mexico City is a great little restaurant for a casual breakfast in a world that seems to move too fast. Definitely try the local food- fresh and very flavorful. Indoor/outdoor seating. Fast service. Safe area.

Love the atmosphere and they have a nice patio option for seating. The food tastes organic and their matcha with coconut milk was amazing!

Indoor or outdoor seating. Nice calming music and the open air is so nice

Really great local sport for a quick brunch. We ate here twice during our stay in CDMX and both times it did not disappoint. The service was good and the outdoor seating has a great ambiance. The coffee was very good and they had many tea options for any non-coffee drinkers. We ordered the Enchilada Minera, Friojolitas con Pollo, Avocado toast, and huervos rancheros. All of the food was great and well plated, other than the Enchilladas which were underwhelming. Overall, would recommend this place for breakfast/brunch or even just for coffee!

    Super cute and cozy

This place is right in front of the Hyatt . It's cute and cozy . Too many people . Long wait . Great service . I didn't think this was traditional Mexican food . It's a great place for some snacks and drinks . Coffee . Yea . Bread . Mimosas.

La comida es rica y el ambiente/diseño de sus espacios es muy bonito sobre todo el de Polanco, el servicio es un poco lento.

They have a pretty extensive menu and we were drawn to the omelets and chilaquiles. Also the enfrijoladas (like enchiladas covered in a black bean purée sauce). Everything was amazing! We also tried many bakery items from the beautiful display and our favorite was the guava and cheese croissant. Have you ever had the refugiado (guava and cheese strudel) from Porto's in Los Angeles? Yeah, it's like that but next level. Great coffee drinks and lattes too. Truly a fantastic spot!

The place has mainly outside seating, and we were fortunately able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a cafe americano and water, while the girlfriend ordered some juice. After perusing the menu, I opted for enchiladas in red sauce. The girlfriend got scrambled eggs. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.

I…read moreremembered it as my favorite bite in CDMX, went back years later, and it still holds the crown. The torta is absolutely legendary. A fluffy bolillo roll drenched in juicy, slow-roasted pork, tangy pickled onions, and a salsa that comes in swinging with just the right heat. That salsa alone could clear your sins. It's spicy, vinegary, addictive. I was sweating and smiling like a maniac. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall in Polanco. Cash only, plastic stools, no fanfare. You order at the counter and eat fast because there's almost always a line of locals and tourists in the know. And they serve one thing: cochinita. You can get it in taco form, on a panucho, or in the god-tier torta. Honestly, get all three and thank yourself later. The meat is fall-apart tender and deeply marinated, full of citrus and achiote. The panucho, with that crispy bean-stuffed tortilla base, is underrated perfection. Everything is messy, hot, and dripping with flavor in the best way. El Turix is the kind of place that reminds you why street-style food is unmatched. No hype, no gimmicks, just absolute fire. A must every time I'm in the city.

I wanted to make it a point to seek out some authentic oaxacan mole, so I chose this spot that was recommended by eater.com and the Michelin guide. Had the black mole with duck breast, which was served with rice and a plantain. It was so good as the flavors were so complex and they paired really well with the perfectly cooked duck, the rice, and my fruity cocktail. On that note, I ordered one of their speciality cocktails with passionfruit and it was so good. I actually enjoyed my cocktail, made with fresh fruit, here more than the world renowned bar down the street. Also got salsa made tableside and an appetizer of pork taquitos (which, in this context, were tiny tacos). Both were flavor bombs. Overall, we are glad that we stopped by to get a sampling of very flavorful food from this restaurant and I'd definitely come back!
