We have friends that live in Mexico so when we came to visit the city, they suggested that we all meet at this restaurant and I'm really glad they did first of all. It is a beautiful restaurant very large outdoor patio indoors. They have a very large tequila bottle area large restaurant. The food was delicious. We had a chicken dish (salmon dish, which was just OK. ) We had guacamole meatballs, artichoke soup, Philo dough with mushrooms in it, which was the best thing ever also we had figs made at the table, which was really unique. The bread was outstanding and they gave you some dipping sauces such as hummus and other things also butter etc Service was excellent. They all enjoyed drinking their tequila inside you could hear well outside they had music but a beautiful night highly recommend if you're in the area or even if you're not, it's just an Uber ride away.
Saks Polanco is an epic space with ample outdoor and indoor spaces to entertain guests both day and night. It's reminiscent of a larger Italian restaurant and the cuisine is just as romantic. Artesian bread variety selections with dynamic array of dipping sauces to accompany them Will arrive at the table and could serve as a course itself. The wine list is on a digital tablet and features page after page of Incredible selections of Temperillo. We had the pleasure of a fun and great server named Antonio Mendoza we laughed with him from the time WW entered. The Beef medallions in wine sauce is impeccable and the Marsala Filet while small was beautifully cooked at medium rare. The salmon is also very tender and made like everything else here with love. Thank you.
This is my friend's, who lives close by, favorite restaurant and I can see why. I had breakfast here and it was a wonderful meal and experience. The ambience is classy and upscale. We ate on the large patio. The indoor space is beautifully decorated. Service was excellent and the food was dee-lish-eos! I would come back for sure the next time I am in town.
This is a very popular breakfast restaurant in one of the upper class neighborhoods in Mexico City. The menu has many of the classic mexican breakfast eggs (eg divorciados, tlapeños, etc) as well as antojitos (sopes, enchiladas, etc). There is unlimited fresh fruit and juices. The bakery is good quality and mixes Mexican classics with French pastries ( pan de elote and bisquets with pain ai chocolat and brioche). The service is excellent although the pressure for the servers is intense. The place has an open patio with also a nice closed interior section.
Fun experience in the bustling city of Mexico City, the environment was busy and full of wonderful pastries to select delicious coffee and other fresh juice products. The menu offered a great amount of food and fruits which I saw some unique items that American breakfast typically do not have. I was able to celebrate my birthday brunch for a day here and had a lovely experience with the staff.
Was recommended this restaurant by a native and I have to admit it is very tasty. The food and the ambiance were wonderful. Sat outside and the covering and umbrellas provided great coverage from the hot heat. They had live music to provide a nice atmosphere. The coat racks for your jacket and purse is a wonderful touch for Mexico. I had the enchiladas and they were delicious. I am not a long enchilada fan and this is one of the best enchiladas I have ever had. The sauce was tasty and the black beans provided extra protein and fiber. The bread basket and assortment of condiments were complimentary and one of the major reasons we were so full at the end of our meal.
Cute place for brunch with ridiculously large portions! We loved sitting in the patio and getting a bite. The bread plate was delicious - and i may have filled up my belly fitting it even before my food got there! Fun fun!
One of many reasons that I love travelling Mexico is the amazing food. And Saks has the distinction of being THE best breakfast place that I've ever been to. Sitting in posh enclave of Polanco, this great restaurant has been my breakfast spot almost every time that I've travelled to Mexico City. On one occasion, I ordered the poached eggs, which were served over ham, toast, and topped with hollandaise sauce. They served me several different breads and pastries, which had their distinct but decent tastes. The mangoes were very flavorful, probably the most delicious that I've ever tasted. Their coffee is great, but FYI the cappuccinos here only come with one shot of espresso. So if you're a caffeine junky like me, then ask them for an extra shot (or two) or espresso in your cappuccino. My girlfriend ordered scrambled eggs and ham, and some potatoes on the side. She was happy with her order. On other occasions, I've come here for lunch. The last time I came here, I had filet mignon with a side of potato puree. My choice of drinks was the same as I always order. My girlfriend had grilled chicken breast and white rice. Simple but good. The customer service here is great. The place can get pretty packed on the weekend, so be sure to get here early. It is not too packed on weekday mornings. The other patrons are decent locals from Polanco. There were no bad vibes here. If you're looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, then this is a great option in Polanco.

This place was close to the hotel we were staying at and they had a big outdoor seating section so we stopped by twice to just rest and enjoy some cool fruits juices. This place gives bread and salsa/hummus for free with your food and drinks. The guacamole was so yummy and wish I could have taken some back home with me ! We also asked if we could have a platter of fresh fruit even though it wasn't specifically in the menu they were able to whip it up for us!
Great service and excellent food. Expansive menu with many choices--soup seems to be a local favorite. Located close to The Oscar Wild Hotel. Love the outdoor seating. The soft music and birds chirping drown out the road noise. Nice to stop mid-day for a late lunch/early dinner and cocktail. Servers do not speak English, but wasn't an issue.
This is my second visit here. After my first visit in 2022 I knew I had to return on my next trip. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. The mole has a wonderfully smoky flavor and creaminess, with the perfect bite of spice. Chipotle meatballs were yummy as well. Sat outdoors and the weather was perfect, and the service was good. Will return again next time I visit CDMX.
This place pops on the weekends. Definitely get a reservation if you can. I love their fresh baked goods and pastries. All the food we tried was so delicious. My eggs Oaxacan style was yummy. The tres leches cake was decent. They have nice tea and coffee selections along with mimosas.
We were told that Saks is a must abc mos we know why. Biding servers change your plates and silver between courses, offering delectable pastries in addition to the extensive brunch menu. I appreciate that they provided s menu in English. I had Greek eggs, soft scrambled ( the way I prefer them usually not served this way), with cheese and an array of salsas and pickled onions. My English tea was served from loose leaves and the cup and pot were changed between the two I had. My husband enjoyed his molletes, which were mini rolls topped with refried beans and New Zealand cheese. read more
I was so disappointed with the slow service and the poor tasting food. This was not the delicious meal that we wanted. Also a flag should have been up when no one was eating inside and one other table was outside on a Saturday night. Skip it unless you are just there for some tequila and bread. read more
We came here on recommendation and sat on the lovely patio while the band played. It was truly so beautiful and relaxing, and our drinks were refreshing as well. I got some special mezcal drink that was sweet. I loved the bread and hummus/spread sampler that came complimentary. It was a lot of food to start with which was nice. We also had the octopus carpaccio to start, which was light and delectable. I got the lamb, and this was so deliciously tender and pull apart for the tortillas that came on the side with beans. The salad we got was also refreshing and a nice big portion. My fiancé got the ribeye tacos which had the best quality meat we had in a taco. Everything was so great here I would definitely recommend for a nice meal in the beautiful area! read more

This is my second time being here and as before, the food is good(not the best) but the experience was great due to our server. Margaritas were strong! Our server, Brandon, was beyond helpful, polite, and attentive. An absolute sweetheart!! read more

This place is always packed. We went there for breakfast a couple times and love it. Both Saturdays they had live music. When you order the breakfast combo it comes with juice, coffee and delicious freshly baked bread (bolillos). Service can be slow at times but apparently everywhere in town is like that. read more

Definitely well worth it ! Had a most incredible lunch , corn , zucchini blossom, poblano soup - amazing! Then a delicious curry chicken , which had these unique " quesadillas style " toppings. Plus a delicious fresh tangerine juice - and all for only $25 usd Sure beats an American lunch read more

Outstanding dining experience, excellent welcoming ambiance. Live musicians singing, the patio creates such a lovely romantic vibe. Stopped by here after the museum because it was close in walking distance and the reviews were good. Also it started to rain, and they welcomed us with open arms. They have a fantastic tequila and mezcal selection. We spent over two hours there, taking our time dining and drinking and listening to music on our last night in Mexico City. One of the mate'd hosts named Jonathon helped us and shared humored moments of his time in the USA. We we'll definitely be back next time and recommend to all we meet along the way. read more

Love it!!! Amazing breakfast and service. The staff walks around with a pastry tray with delicious options. The mimosas were delicious and the food was fresh and delicious! The ambiance in the tequila room feels intimate with great options to look at. Make sure to look up at the ceiling. read more

My girlfriend & I were looking for a quality place for my birthday brunch. We found it into a food blog. We arrived there, we chose to be sat on the outside terrasse since there was great weather. We both chose the breakfast package which consist of a " coffee + juice + pastry of your choice + fruits plate + breakfast plate of your choice (my choice: mushroom omelette) ". Food was good & the service was excellent, many waiters. Couldn't complain at all. Prices were ok for the quality. The ambiance is great like a big mansion, feels like rich mexicans people coming here for breakfast. The indoor decoration is colorful & rich. If you guys are looking for a nice & fancy place for breakfast/brunch in Polanco or even in Mexico City, this is the place! 5/5 visited in December 2017 read more
