Beef medallions

Saks Polanco is an epic space with ample outdoor and indoor spaces to entertain guests both day and night. It's reminiscent of a larger Italian restaurant and the cuisine is just as romantic. Artesian bread variety selections with dynamic array of dipping sauces to accompany them Will arrive at the table and could serve as a course itself. The wine list is on a digital tablet and features page after page of Incredible selections of Temperillo. We had the pleasure of a fun and great server named Antonio Mendoza we laughed with him from the time WW entered. The Beef medallions in wine sauce is impeccable and the Marsala Filet while small was beautifully cooked at medium rare. The salmon is also very tender and made like everything else here with love. Thank you.

This is my friend's, who lives close by, favorite restaurant and I can see why. I had breakfast here and it was a wonderful meal and experience. The ambience is classy and upscale. We ate on the large patio. The indoor space is beautifully decorated. Service was excellent and the food was dee-lish-eos! I would come back for sure the next time I am in town.

Fun experience in the bustling city of Mexico City, the environment was busy and full of wonderful pastries to select delicious coffee and other fresh juice products. The menu offered a great amount of food and fruits which I saw some unique items that American breakfast typically do not have. I was able to celebrate my birthday brunch for a day here and had a lovely experience with the staff.

Cute place for brunch with ridiculously large portions! We loved sitting in the patio and getting a bite. The bread plate was delicious - and i may have filled up my belly fitting it even before my food got there! Fun fun!

One of many reasons that I love travelling Mexico is the amazing food. And Saks has the distinction of being THE best breakfast place that I've ever been to. Sitting in posh enclave of Polanco, this great restaurant has been my breakfast spot almost every time that I've travelled to Mexico City. On one occasion, I ordered the poached eggs, which were served over ham, toast, and topped with hollandaise sauce. They served me several different breads and pastries, which had their distinct but decent tastes. The mangoes were very flavorful, probably the most delicious that I've ever tasted. Their coffee is great, but FYI the cappuccinos here only come with one shot of espresso. So if you're a caffeine junky like me, then ask them for an extra shot (or two) or espresso in your cappuccino. My girlfriend ordered scrambled eggs and ham, and some potatoes on the side. She was happy with her order. On other occasions, I've come here for lunch. The last time I came here, I had filet mignon with a side of potato puree. My choice of drinks was the same as I always order. My girlfriend had grilled chicken breast and white rice. Simple but good. The customer service here is great. The place can get pretty packed on the weekend, so be sure to get here early. It is not too packed on weekday mornings. The other patrons are decent locals from Polanco. There were no bad vibes here. If you're looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, then this is a great option in Polanco.

Popular local breakfast/brunch spot. Juices were the star of the show. Fresh salads and good soup as well, the food did not disappoint and we ate most of the bread basket too. Sit outside under the awning, the inside is full of screaming children. Would recommend.

Great service and excellent food. Expansive menu with many choices--soup seems to be a local favorite. Located close to The Oscar Wild Hotel. Love the outdoor seating. The soft music and birds chirping drown out the road noise. Nice to stop mid-day for a late lunch/early dinner and cocktail. Servers do not speak English, but wasn't an issue.

This place was close to the hotel we were staying at and they had a big outdoor seating section so we stopped by twice to just rest and enjoy some cool fruits juices. This place gives bread and salsa/hummus for free with your food and drinks. The guacamole was so yummy and wish I could have taken some back home with me ! We also asked if we could have a platter of fresh fruit even though it wasn't specifically in the menu they were able to whip it up for us!

This is my second visit here. After my first visit in 2022 I knew I had to return on my next trip. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. The mole has a wonderfully smoky flavor and creaminess, with the perfect bite of spice. Chipotle meatballs were yummy as well. Sat outdoors and the weather was perfect, and the service was good. Will return again next time I visit CDMX.

This place pops on the weekends. Definitely get a reservation if you can. I love their fresh baked goods and pastries. All the food we tried was so delicious. My eggs Oaxacan style was yummy. The tres leches cake was decent. They have nice tea and coffee selections along with mimosas.

Eggplant and bread service

We stopped for lunch after the anthropology museum and I was blown away. We sat outside and were delighted by the atmosphere, homemade bread, and vegetarian options

First time staying at this hotel while on business trip with a side of museum visits (Soumaya and…read moreAnthropology). This is the best hotel I've stayed at in CDMX on approximately 30+ trips here. This includes the W (nope), Westin (uh-uh), Sheraton (chaos, if there's a demonstration - and there usually is one ongoing), even the St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott - all too stuffy. Santiago from NJ, by way of the NYU Shanghai campus, was excellent and almost everyone here speaks English perfectly. I felt like I was in NYC, except that the service was better and the staff was much more accommodating. Breakfast was included, nothing spectacular, but everything was solid, good coffee, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, good jams and yogurt. Perfect, light start to the day. The room was not big, but well laid out with every amenity, refrigerator, beverages, Nespresso machine, bottled water and a selection of assorted snacks - all complimentary (except alcohol, unnecessary with all the good bars nearby). The gym was literally situated in a single hotel room on the lower floor. It was tiny, but fully equipped for a one-person, HIIT session. The single issue was the incessant bass drone from the bar nearby. Earplugs didn't work because it wasn't possible to mask the low Hz frequency effectively. Every major museum was about a 25 minute stroll through scenic neighborhoods to get to. Some of the best restaurants (Nobu, Sylvestre) were around the corner. All in all this is probably the best place to stay in CDMX. If not for the bass from the bar, which was totally not the hotel's fault, this was probably the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in Mexico (no children or pets, I think, but not sure). No drunk teens shouting in the hallways - idyllic. About $500-$700/night depending on date. Totally worth it.
