Came here today for lunch, my first time here and so far so good the food is good, fresh, and clean. The staff are nice, service is fairly quick (didnt have to wait too long for the food) and the cashier guy is pretty attentive and asked me a couple times if I need anything (thumbs up!) Ay que rico!!!! I have been craving an authentic Mexican breakfast for a long time. Ever since it became too dangerous to cross into TJ and down to Rosarito, I have gone through withdrawals!!! Now that I found Ana's Kitchen in Glendale... I am all good!!! My sons and I were greeted by a very friendly face as soon as we walked in Sunday morning. The waiter was very attentive and complimented my boys for speaking Spanish to him! 4 plates of chorizo con huevos y frijoles more than filled the four of us up!!! Food was a bit hit or miss. The rajas poblanos with chicken was very tasty. Lots of meat and very flavorful, with a bit of heat, but not overly spicy. The carne Asada quesadilla and Asada fries were both very good. The portions of everything were generous. The two wet burritos our group had were "not bad" The beans were completely bland. No flavor whatsoever, which made for a lot of waste, including the bean burrito one person ordered and the sides on the other plates. The rice was...weird. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just didn't taste like Spanish/Mexican rice is supposed to taste. None of us ate any of it beyond a few tastes. Fast and fresh - Ana's Kitchen is delicious. If you're looking for authentic Mexican with great prices and a minimal dining (by minimal I mean chips and salsa with unobtrusive table service) Ana's is the place. My husband and I both ordered burritos. They were the perfect size, filled with fresh ingredients. The salsa for the burrito was the perfect amount of spicy while the salsa for the chips was the perfect amount of fresco. I wasn't aware of the dining situation upon walking in so my husband and I ordered at the register and sat in the dining area. What you should do is plan to sit down and dine unless you're in a rush. Bad first: Don't go during a busy window... go early for breakfast or early for lunch... otherwise expect slower service... it's a small place w/ a small kitchen. Good: Whether it was the breakfast chilaquiles or a nice hot bowl of cocido or pozole, this place is spot on every time. I loved it even more when they opened at 7am but alas all good things... The BARBACOA is delicious!! I'm not a huge fan of Mexican rice but I do recognize a place when they make it well and Ana's kitchen does that, their beans are homemade and delicious as well. It was my first time here and I'll come back to try other things on the menu. During really hot days take out may be the way to go until they have air. I also ordered chili Verde which I was unaware that the restaurant reached out and had taken it upon themselves to give me a carnitas burrito because they were out of chili Verde!Who does that? if u can't give me what I want cancel it! But other than that the food was simple but tasty. However our bill did come up to $85 and the dishes we order ranged from $9-11. I ordered the Burrito Ranchero and the server asked if I would like a spicy salsa with it and I was like yes sir I would. Food came out and it was delicious and the spicy salsa was just right not extremely spicy to where I was reaching for my glass after every bite but enough to know that there was some heat and it had good flavor as well. The only complaint which really isn't that big of a deal was that they were out of the Cantaloupe juice so I had to try the mango pineapple instead, oh the horror. It was delicious. I tried Ana's for the first time and it was in a good location with great parking. I waked in, really craving a chili relleno burrito. I felt like eating with a knife and fork so I got it wet. Before we ordered, the worker brought us chips and salsa so I was already liking this place. I ordered my Chili Relleno Burrito wet with a chicken crispy taco and Sophia ordered the Chili Relleno burrito (normal). The burritos came out fairly quick and she said the taco will be coming out soon. I cut my burrito and was excited to eat. I noticed there was green salsa in there and got excited because everything looked so good but then I noticed a piece of pork. I didn't think there's pork in a chili relleno burrito so I asked the worker but she said I ordered the chili verde burrito. Classic miscommunication but I didn't want them to throw away food so I told her I'd keep the burrito I was given (chili verde is pretty good, but I was just craving chili relleno). After About 10 minutes, I was almost done with my burrito and my taco as still nowhere to be found. When I asked about it, it looked like they forgot about it, so I just cancelled the order. Nice place to go get some authentic Mexican food. Been here a few times cause I work close by. Staff is friendly and food comes in a timely manner. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is cause the food is inconsistent. I order a chicken burrito half the times I go there and sometimes it comes out tasting amazing and other times the chicken is dry and over cooked. There was also a time where I had an abundance of rice and barely and meat and salsa. When the burrito does come out good the chicken is nice with a little char but still juicy and packed with flavor. Their green salsa is yummy. read more

Steer clear of ordering from this place on Postmates if you expect a timely delivery. We ordered food at the beginning of the final match of the World Cup. The match ended a while ago and the delivery is not even on its way. I called the restaurant several times and they kept promising that the order would be ready soon. I tried calling again and now the restaurant's phone is off. I'm usually pretty understanding of backups but overpromising and giving an unrealistic updates is irresponsible. The least they could've done is cancel the order so we wouldn't have to pay for it since postmates won't allow us to cancel. If and when the food actually shows up, it will go straight to trash can because I can't trust a kitchen that's had an hour and a half back up. read more

Anna's kitchen it's a cozy family own restaurant especialicing on Mexican cuisine.It was my first time there with extensive menu, and drinks. My meal was delicious with very fresh ingredients .
