I wish I would have seen the reviews before coming here. I needed a bridesmaid dress fixed because it was big on the bust and needed the waistline lifted, and she said she would be able to fix it. She did not have it done when she said she would, the day I was suppose to pick it up she said she hadn't even started and asked for 5 more days. When I went to pick it up, she wouldn't let me try it on there which I found weird. When I got home and tried it on, I realized why she didn't want me to try it there. She did not cut off ANY material, all she did was gather it and tack it with stitching. She didn't raise the waistline like we had discussed and she "ironed" it and left horrible wrinkle markings all over it so now I have to see if I can get this dress fix in 3 days and I have to get it pressed to fix the wrinkles she added. read more

This lady took over a month to fix my wedding dinner dress. She first made my dress too tight and then I had to come back a week later so she can have me try it again, then She didn't even tailor it from the bottom like I asked her to so I ended up taking it as is. It's my 3rd time to go here. Honestly my first visit was not good, She didn't finish my alterations on time. I had to go back another day to pick it up good thing I don't need the clothes immediately. However the alterations turned out good and the price is really cheap. $6 for pants hem and $8-10 for maxi dress hem (no under lining) however price may vary depending on what kind of clothes and alterations you need. Went back the 2nd time and i had no issue, the clothes was done on time. 3rd time i dropped of a pants and maxi dress, the lady told me i can picked it up Friday, i called her first before picking it up and again she haven't done fixing it, she told me that she will call me back after 30mins, then 30 mins passed and i got a call from her and clothes are ready for picked up. Tip: I will not recommended this place if you need the clothes immediately, coz for sure she won't be able to deliver, the lady is old and i guess she needs more understanding and patience. However her prices are really cheap which i like. i also suggest before picking up the clothes, call her as soon as she opens so you can make sure that your clothes are ready for pick up. So I dropped off 6 pairs of pants to be tapered on 6/17/15. Only $6 each! Great low price and Ana seems like a sweet lady. Told her I won't be back to pick them up until 6/30/15 (that's almost 2 weeks). She told me that was a long time and she should have them finished sooner. I gave her my phone number for her to call me when they're finished even though I may not be able to stop in any sooner. I stopped by yesterday, 6/30/15, and she seemed a little surprised. She didn't have them ready yet and I told her it's okay. She told me she'll have them ready for me the next day at 8am. It's 9:50am now and I see that her shop doesn't even open until 10am! Kind of disappointed in the service. Waiting for her now in the heat so decided to post this review. I'd give her a 1 star if the prices weren't so affordable. May give her another try in the future just because of the prices. Changed to 1 star because she did not open on time and I could not wait any longer. It's 10:05am. Little old Hispanic lady behind the counter was fast and efficient. Not sure if she was Ana, but the place was full of clothes all around. Ordinarily, I'd say it was a tad bit too messy for a business, but after personally seeing the quality of the work done here, it's no wonder there wouldn't be any room to put anything. I had to get some work pants hemmed and it only cost me $5! I took them in early in the morning, like around 10 am, and I asked her if it was possible to have them by 5 pm. Without blinking an eye, she told me yes, and when I came back at 5 pm, not only were they ready, but they looked like they had just come off the rack! The lady was nice and friendly. Not sure if she speaks English because I busted out my broken Spanish and we got along just fine. One other thing to note is that if you are man with the same problem I have, it can be fixed for $10-$12, which is WAY, WAY, lower than what I had heard it would cost. My problem is that I have a big neck, so I have to buy bigger shirts to fit my neck into. The problem is, when you buy a bigger shirt with a bigger neck, the rest of the shirt is even bigger, so even though I'm a big boy, I swim in the rest of the shirt, and not even shirt stays can help me. So depending on whether she has to cut some off the arms or take some off the back, it'll cost you $10 or $12. I'll be back. read more

Cheap prices and super nice, sweet lady. Speaks little English and she loses your clothes. She's super busy and her place literally has piles of clothes lying around. She'll promise to have an alteration done at a certain time/date but it will not be ready. I returned numerous times to an alteration not done and she's even lost my dress and refused to compensate me for it. But she does eventually get the job done. Ana's alterations forgot about altering my dress, it was literally tossed to the side with a pile of other clothes. She made me wait one week then when I arrived to try it on (3 days before my party) she looked shocked because she hadn't even started. She kept saying sorry and made some excuse about her daughter not knowing how to fix the dress because she was in pain. They didn't even call me to let me know. I honestly think she forgot about it. I am completely stressed out and don't know what to do. I left the store in tears. The daughter calls me 10 min later and asks me to come back so they can work on It. The dress needed major alterations and I'm suppose to trust that they'd fix it all up within 48 hours and have it look not rushed??? She made me wait a week so how come it will only take 48 hours this time around? Oh I am so upset. What an awful, unorganized way to run a business. Nice older Hispanic lady. It feels like I'm going to family. However she lost my $50 dress when I dropped it off for alterations. I've been to her many times and even referred people to her. She claims she gave me my dress back already. She stated if I don't have the ticket than she gave it to me. I found the ticket and so it proves she never gave me the dress. The thing is, she doesn't always collect the ticket. Especially since I'm a regular. So she can't use that as a concrete way to tell that she gave me the dress back. I think she accidentally gave it to another customer or lost it in the pile of clothes she has. She refused to give me a discount on another dress I brought to her for alterations in exchange for the lost dress. She needs to accept responsibility for losing my dress. It's a business. She's lost my business and I will no longer forward people to her. On many occasions I've returned for my dress and it was not ready and I had to come back later that day for it again. On a couple occasions, it still was not ready when i returned. So call ahead of time to save you a trip cuz she doesn't even give you a discount for wasting your time. Like i said... It feels like I'm going to family, but I feel she took advantage of me like family can do. Her work isn't the cleanest or the best I've seen but she does the job that's required. She is a one woman team, so I get that it gets busy. And I have been a customer for years until this occasion. Shows you how she treats loyal customers. I don't have the heart to give her one star cuz like I've said, she's altered many things for me and her prices are cheap and she's even stayed open late for me to stop by for my items after work, but I'm severely disappointed in her customer service. Took in a dress for an alteration. The lady told me she would have it ready after noon the following day. I had my husband pick up the dress for me around 1 pm and it was not ready. He also paid her at that time. The lady apologized and told my husband she would have it done by 5 pm that day. I went in just before 5 pm and the lady tells me she was NOT able to do it. She apologized and said she would have it done by noon the next day. So the next day, I had my husband pick it up for me and he tells her he forgot his receipt and she tries to pull a fast one and tells him we did not pay!!! She then suddenly remembers we did pay!! I am still bothered at this point but I will be brutally honest on my review. I dropped off 2 pants bc my wife recommended me to her on 6/11/17. Today is 7/9/17. I walk in and she's helping another guy who seems frustrated w her on the work she's done on his pants bc he kept going in and out of dressing room. When the guy goes back into the dress room I walk up and she tried to help me. When I gave her my ticket and informed her I came for my pants she asked me when I came and dropped them off as of the ticket don't have a date. She then says she doesn't think she has them and starts looking for the pants under neath the pile of clothes laying everywhere. She is very disorganized and I tried not to judge her work by the looks of her shop but in this case I should of walked out as soon as I saw how messy her shop was. After a few minutes she finally finds my bag with 2 pants and tells me she's sorry but she didn't get to do them bc she was closed 1 day? At that point I was upset but didn't let it show. She then asked me what I wanted done on my new pants but in my head I was ready to walk out. The moment she walked back to help the guy in the dress room I grabbed my bags and walked out. REALLY DISAPPOINTING: I dropped 4 dress pants to be altered last Monday, 1st May. Ana offered to have them done by Wednesday or Thursday. I told her that I was not in a hurry & that I could pick them up on Saturday, 6th May. She told me to come back at 10am for pick-up. On Saturday, I went back to her shop & she grabbed my bag of pants & told me that she had not started but would have them ready by 5pm on the same day. She apologized. At 5pm, I went back to pick up my pants but they were still not ready. I asked her calmly what had happened. She said that she didn't do them as she couldn't find my bag of dress pants. I asked her how she could not find them if she had shown me the bag at 10am & that she had left it on the counter---literally in front of us as I told her this. Then, she said, "oh these ones?" I replied, "yes, you had placed the bag there before I left this morning & it's still there." She said that she'd do 1 right there and then but she wouldn't be able to do the rest by Monday. I refused that offer & told her that she could do all 4 by Sunday, 7th May or I'd take my business elsewhere. She said the shop would be closed. So, I took my bag of dress pants & left. I had gone there twice for a simple service of cutting the length of my pants & both times were badly handled. She needs to find help to organize her stuff, because I'm sure most people, like myself, would rather pay a little bit more if I can get my stuff on time rather than go back several times because she could not perform her duty by the agreed pick-up time. read more
