Rocky's ruined my dress. The inside cups were left tattered and destroyed. I didn't realize the damage until I inspected the dress at home. When I returned to the store, the man behind the counter said, "Oh right, I was wondering about that." That told me he and his team were already aware the dress had been damaged, yet no one mentioned it when they returned it to me. They didn't take responsibility, nor did they apologize. I demanded a refund, and while they did refund the cleaning cost, I would not recommend this business. I no longer trust them to properly care for delicate garments, especially items that require gentle handling. read more

Rocky's Cleaners - Inside of white dress; cups tattered and destroyed - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Claremont, California

Excellent, friendly, and professional service. Rocky's Cleaners is highly recommended.

My dad brought his clothes to Rocky's for years. Jeff has always been so kind to my dad and truly happy to see him. My dad recently passed away. When we went to find his suit, we couldn't find it. On a hunch, I called Rocky's to see if, by chance, it was there and it was! Jeff knew exactly who my dad was and was so consoling and nice. We will continue my dad's legacy in going to Rocky's for all of our dry cleaning needs. Thank you Jeff for always treating my dad with kindness and respect. read more

The service is friendly, fast and efficient. This cleaners is so close to my home making drop offs and pick ups perfect!!!

Excellent customer service and reasonably priced!! I was in need of finding someone local who would only do pressing service for quite a few shirts my dad needed...and I mean quite a few lol. They were very helpful and even got a few done before the weekend when we needed them. Definitely my new go to place. Thank you!! read more

Not sure why we didn't start going to Rocky's Cleaners sooner! My husband and I were in a bind and needed our clothes steamed for a wedding quickly. Rocky's Cleaners did not hesitate to accommodate us. They were so friendly and did a wonderful job! Happy we found our new cleaners! read more

I've been going to downtown Claremont for years but just recently discovered this place. It's a little farther away than those in my city, which isn't a big deal considering how great they are. Professional and friendly. And the owner and her family are so helpful. Parking can be a little tricky so plan accordingly. Highly recommend! read more

okay this place is the bees knees I needed a dress pressed last minute for a wedding and they really went above and beyond for me. they had a very quick turnaround and the price really can't be beat I have already recommended my friends to come here and I am 100% going to be a returning customer. LOVE THIS PLACE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES read more

This place performs miracles. From getting tree sap (you read that right, tree sap!) out of a dress to a giant coffee stain on the liner of the jacket--I could not be more impressed with the work they do. Above and beyond; highly recommend. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Recently moved here for graduate school at the Claremont Colleges, had my girlfriend drop off a couple white $250 dress shirts, I get them back looking worse than when I gave it to them ... completely ruined and they even WROTE MY GIRLFRIENDS FULL NAME ON THE SHIRT .. stamped it with black ink ... somehow got black and blue stains on the armpit area from probably trying to scrub it with something that was black and blue ... I am beyond pissed and hope the worst for this business after ruining my day: Woke up to put my fresh shirts on and BOOM they're all ruined. Did they even wash them? Who knows, but they def look worse than when I gave it to them read more

Bruce and his team are the best! Friendly service (they remember you after the first visit), great pricing, clothes look terrific. They clean and mend in-house so our stuff never leaves the property. Great downtown location with parking out front -- go in the morning if possible. We love the old-fashioned customer service -- they can do same day work in an emergency. Five ***** for making our life run more smoothly with a smile. read more

Nice folks and great service and fair prices! 'Nuf said!

This dry cleaner store rocks! No pun intended hehe. But they are very quick, clean, and also really really honest. So let me tell you how I did not know that I left a huge sum of money in one of the suits that I was dropping off and when I went to pick it up the store owner, Vicky, said that in one of the suits there was two of my credit cards and also a hefty amount of money anyone would take but she returned everything to me and I was very glad and appreciative of how honest she is and now this will be the only cleaners I will only go to. Love you guys and keep doing the good and honest work. read more

I had to give them five stars for having such consistently excellent customer service in addition to their immaculate cleaning. I can't imagine taking my items anywhere else. I'm always treated like family here, and my clothes come out looking great. read more

Friendly. So great work. Nice to have cleaners you can trust. Very responsive. And great coffee and bread next door

Rocky's was recommended by 2 different textile/wearable artists. I took in a silk garment more than 100 yrs old, in good shape but the lining was very soiled (i.e. gross) at neck and hem. Would have washed it but afraid the color would run. Didn't even want to touch it the way it was! Rocky's were not able to get the really soiled areas "clean", not surprising, but the overall garment is now clean enough to start working on it -- and no damage to the antique silk. And only $20! Happy to find a new cleaners. I didn't give 5 stars as I've only been there once. Parking is nonexistent, but it's Claremont! read more

Jeff was really nice and professional. The was the first place I called and I had planned to call around for where to get my clothes done. At the end of the conversation, I went ahead and came here. No need to look around. Great spot, clean spot in beautiful downtown Claremont. read more

I've been coming here for years this is a family run business and they do a great job with their customer service they always keep your clients happy and their prices are reasonable I've been using them for years and I've never had a problem with them. Love Rocky's. They always have my order done right on time with reasonable prices and great care of the clothes. Highly recommend.

For me, this laundry is the best (in in my are, the only) coin-free laundry place. The area its in is nice, the staff working there are friendly and always smiling, and the price is not bad at all. I sometimes slack off when doing my laundry, so when that happens i go to them, and they've never let me down. I hope this place becomes larger in the future and become more successful. read more

I've been coming to Rocky's Cleaners EVERY week for a few years now. Not only are they reliable and they do an excellent job, their customer service is second to none! I know they've been in business for so many years because they truly care about their customers and have established a great reputation for that. Their kindness and being so welcoming, makes running my weekly errands on my days off of work a positive experience! I would highly recommend them! I've referred others I know to go to them as well, and have heard the same feedback! read more

I found this place from Google, and it was conveniently located where I work... I am getting married and needed to get my veil steamed to get the wrinkles out. When I went to pick it up.. I was told that they took care if it as a wedding gift and didn't charge me a dime. That melted my heart and made me cry... The kindness of them is just amazing! I was visiting from Washington, DC & needed a rush job on some shirts and two sports coats . Nobody else in Claremont could help me but the two friendly ladies @ Rocky's came to my rescue ! They were extremely helpful and got things done in a jiffy . They even paid extra attention to cleaning a few spots out . Would definitely recommend this place and their wonderful owners. read more

I have been doing business at Rocky for 36 years. It is family owned and is the model of a friendly and caring small business. Debbie and Jeff are meticulous about each garment and household item I bring them. Without their extra care on my husband's car show T-shirt's, he would have many t-shirt's not fit to wear. I can always count on Debbie to remove his food snd grease stains. If we leave money or other trinkets in our pockets, (or lose a button in the cleaning procesd$they have them attached to the hanger. Not only that, they remember what they found before they search for the item. read more

I am a long time customer of Rocky's Cleaners. Debbie and Jeff run a first class operation, and have always treated me great. Best cleaners I have ever used! read more

Rocky's is a top notched family owned dry cleaning business... It's rare when you walk in for everyone family member to know you by name , they also know your garments just in case you're in a hurry and drop them at the counter without talking to anyone... I love this family because of the caring tender nature they provide to the customer and their clothing... They treat each customer extremely well and pricing is fair! I've had many alterations completed and never had an issue, however if there was one they rectify the issue quickly!!! I even added them as face book friends because we are more family then the client customer relationship!!! read more

This is the first time I have ever written a yelp review but I felt so strongly about what happened that I felt that I needed to write a review so that others would know. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I brought some clothes in to be dry-cleaned for the first time and they absolutely ruined 2 of my jackets. When I brought in my jacket there was a few small ink stains on the front that I requested that they try to spot treat. When I went to pick them up I noticed that it looked worse than the first time. One of the workers there offered to to try to clean it again. When I went back for a second time both jackets looked worse than the first and one is not even salvageable at all. In addition, the prices are much too high (compared to other places I have been in the area) especially for the service that you get. To top it off the parking around the area is very difficult as well. Please do not waste your money. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Rocky's is a family-owned business conveniently located in downtown Claremont near the post office. My mother and I regularly did business with the family during the nineties and early aughts when she was going to church and I was teaching. We appreciated that they handled our clothes professionally and were always friendly. After I retired and she became too disabled to attend church regularly, we stopped using their services. When I returned last year after a several years absence, I was surprised that the son/grandson remembered me, even though he used my more memorable mother's name. In this period when we are more likely to be interacting with bots or mean-spirited, incompetent humans, I enjoy doing business with friendly, competent people. That they are a family makes the experience even better. read more
