I didn't catch the gentleman's name who did my nails, but he had a blue strip of hair. Anyways, he did a fantastic job with my nails! It's the second time I've been to Amy's and both times were wonderful experiences! The workers are all so nice.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a nail salon. They hand you off from person to person and the work is simply sloppy. They want to get as many people in and out as possible. I had the owner do my fill (which she over charged me for - according to her listed prices). She rushed through it, left my edges of my acrylics razor sharp after I had asked her for rounded ones. I think my pinkies were rounded. She asked me to wash my hands, and I thought she was going to round and buff them... NOPE!!! I got sent to another person who did the color. The color looked awful because there was no finishing on the nail. It was almost as if she thought I wouldn't notice the sharp edged and rough top of my nail. WORST experience I have ever had!!!!

The sloppiest "French tip" I've ever seen.

I am never a Karen, but I have to be with this I got my nails done here- and first of all she snapped at me over my mask that was already on my face... snapping at me to pull it farther up my face. I got acrylics with regular polish with French tips, they do not look they have a proper top coat on, I didn't receive any portion of a manicure. She went immediately in with glue and acrylic powder. They are so sharp on the edges. She didn't check if they were dry, she shoved my hand down then blamed me for the nail polish smudging and getting on the table They were incredibly rude with customer service as well, being passive aggressive. I was over charged and will NEVER return. I want my money back. I will be calling tomorrow to demand a refund.

Chipping after 1.5 days and my cuticles look terrible.

I will keep looking for a nail salon. I came here with another person. I received okay service. My nails do not look great. But the other person was being handled by the person who answered the phones, seating people, and running all other jobs a front desk person should do while doing my friends service. While I received a massage with my pedicure, my friend did not. While I received a hot towel, my friend did not. There was no sense that the practitioner (neither mine and certainly not my friend's) had any presence or intention. We felt like we were a bother. We received manicures as well. Again, my friend did not even have her cuticles pushed back. I am highly disappointed. Our nails look like an 8 year old did them. It is really hard when we finally carve out the time for self care and get such poor treatment. The person working the front desk should not be also giving services. After 1.5 days, my nail polish is chipping off. I have not done any dishwashing or cleaning that would cause this.

I did Acrylic Shellac refill at this place. I have done my nails at many places but this never happened. It has been a week and my nails look very bad and I'm in a vacation which I have to get them done somewhere in here. It shouldn't be like this. Also, only the lady in the reception was friendly, the guy who did my nails wanted to get it done as soon as possible to help others, so he was in a big rush. The lady who did my mom's nails messed up the french and she got mad when my mom asked for different sized french. I would not recommend this place at any time, because neither me nor my mom are satisfied and this is the result after 1 week.

Peeling started the day after I got them done.

The staff here are nice, but I would not recommend if you want something long lasting for the price you pay. I have gotten my nails done here two times the past month and both times the nails have started to peel and chip off within a week. I got a shellac manicure on Tuesday and it is already peeling off,for the price you pay the application of the nails is not done well they are bumpy and start peeling within days.

This place is VERY CLEAN and the people are so so so nice!! I was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I came. I did the dip nail application and also had a pedicure, both were GREAT!

Will definitely go back for more shellac and pedi! Nice and clean salon with so many color choices to choose from. Price is reasonable.

As this was my first time going to Amy's Nails and knowing others have had positive opinions here, I can only document my own one-time negative experience, rather than the business as a whole. From those I know, as well as other reviewers, I can sum it up to a lot depends on the nail tech you get. My daughter and I went in, without appointments; she for shellac manicure, me for SNS. From the start, the woman that was assigned to me seemed angry and out of sorts. I felt very uncomfortable from the get go. Once she determined I had SNS on, which needed to be removed, she was just short of hostile towards me. I'm not sure what triggered her, as I was polite and friendly, actually pretty excited to be there, but the man assigned to my daughter had to speak to her to calm her down. I understand having a bad day, but this was outright unprofessional. And weird. She became very irritated that I was not doing the right thing when it came to removal. My fingers were put in two bowls of, what I assume is acetone and very hot water along with a chunk of cotton. I've never had it removed this way, only cotton soaked in acetone and wrapped in foil. No explanation or direction, just angry gestures, eye rolling and huffing off. During the visit, the tech barely spoke to me. That is, until she decided to clarify their cash-only tip policy. I have used SNS on my nails for about a year and have never had a bad experience at other salons. I love the product, ease of application and wear. I had chosen a gray color with lavender undertone, which I have worn in the past. When the color was going on it looked really pink. When I asked about it, the tech said it was the color I chose. As she continued, both my daughter and myself asked if the color was going to change because it definitely wasn't the color I chose. The tech then began to argue with me, insisting the color was fine and "a nice tone". I went and got the color chart to show her the color I picked that she had confirmed. It was obviously not the same color. She then proceeded to tell me that the colors often turn out differently, it happens to many people, "you're not the only one" and, my personal favorite, "I know you don't like it, but it's not my fault". I was speechless. We aren't talking a couple of shades off, it's an entirely different color. And, yes, these are first world problems, so to speak, but I am paying (actually my daughter was treating me) nearly fifty dollars! At this point, I just wanted to get out of there. There was no kindness, no apology and certainly no effort to correct the wrong. This person was unprofessional, angry and so rude. I was just about in tears by the time I got out of there and truly do not understand what warranted this behavior. There are many, many, many, many nail salons in this area. I would highly recommend people to think carefully about how they would like to be treated, the quality of service they are comfortable receiving and how they choose to spend their hard-earned money. I aim to be kind and polite to those I meet and, having worked years in customer service, know how valuable this is for a business. It can make or break you, as we customers have choices. My choice is to never, ever go back to Amy's Nails.

The nails they gave me :(((( so horrible and bubbly

No they are horrible at nails rude and complained to me a lot took forever and made it look sooooo horrible I'm so disappointed I wanted to cry waste of time energy and money do not go here

The studio itself is clean, modern, and cozy, so it really feels like you can switch off for a bit while they take care of you. What really stands out, though, is the level of detail in their work. They specialize in Russian manicure and structured gel, and it shows in how precise, careful, and long-lasting the results are - your nails come out looking flawless and stay that way for weeks. Every cuticle is perfected, every edge is smooth, and they take their time to get the shape and finish exactly right. It's the perfect place to get your nails "tuned up" - whether you're maintaining a classic look or trying something more elevated, you walk out feeling polished and a little bit spoiled. I'd happily recommend Pixie Lab and specifically Veronika, who gave me home care tips and helped me treat a problem.

The appointment took around 2.5 hours, and I liked the final color and overall look of the nails. The salon itself is very clean and has a luxury/self-care vibe. As soon as I walked in, they offered me a complimentary fancy drink and a small treat, which was such a nice touch. They also have iPads available during the service, so I ended up watching Emily in Paris while getting my nails done. What impressed me the most was their cleanliness. After each customer, they thoroughly cleaned everything with Clorox wipes, including the desk, chairs, and surrounding area. As a first-time customer, they also gave me 10% off plus a cute little gift bag with cuticle oil, hand cream, and nail care instructions. The reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I expected a little more attention to detail for a professional service at this level. A couple of nails had small imperfections. For example, one thumb wasn't fully covered near the edges and part of it looked matte, almost like the top coat didn't fully seal the edge. One other nail also had a slightly uneven surface. They're small details, but noticeable up close. Overall though, I enjoyed the experience, loved the atmosphere, and would consider coming back again to try other technicians.

At the end of the service, she told me that if anything broke within 7 days, I could return for a free fix. By Monday night, one nail had broken and there was visible damage to the tips of several others. I called Tuesday and was told to come in and that my manicure would be redone at no charge. However, when I returned Wednesday, I was informed after the service that I would need to pay full price because the employee I spoke to was new and hadn't documented anything about a break or fix in my profile. After some back and forth, they offered $20 off due to their internal miscommunication. At that point, I chose to pay and leave rather than continue debating their policies and communication issues. That is not something a customer should have to navigate. Clear policies, proper staff training, and communication are the responsibility of ownership and management. If I had known I would be charged again, I would not have come back at all. It's not reasonable to pay for two manicures in less than five days. I would expect my nails to last at least two weeks. Due to the inconsistent communication and unclear policies, I will not be returning to y2 nails.

You do need to book / make reservations. But I enjoy pedicures here. I've tried a lot of gel polishes here for manicures too. They don't last too long but they are pretty right after. And free parking! Plus they can do 5-7 people at once. To book 6 pedicures at a salon these days at the same time is a hard task! I appreciate the consistency! Plus, who doesn't love getting mani-pedi!

Unfortunately, things at Dashing have gone steeply downhill. My sister and I came for pedicures…read moreover the weekend and everything looked as I remembered. However, the chair I sat in (water was already on and I had had my feet in the tub for a couple minutes at this point) wasn't actually working properly as the tub jets weren't functioning. I was asked to move to another chair. That's no big deal. But then, my sister's chair wouldn't move backward or actually turn on the massage function. We asked if we weren't using it right, but they ended up pressing a switch at the foot of the tub that we couldn't see and her seat started working... for like 5 minutes. It turned off after that and she had to ask repeatedly for it to be turned back on. Turns out, same exact thing for my chair. Also, the plastic of my remote was broken and the seats even when working were so weak it was pointless. The massage chair is one of the best parts of a pedicure, IMO. Oh, and the cover of the jet popped off while I was using it and splashed water everywhere. Woo. But to top all of this off- our pedicures which were priced on the fee sheet as $54 came to a whopping $76! When I asked the girl that checked us out to clarify, she said it was because we got gel. An extra $22 for gel!? And not a single word of this up charge? Yeah, nah. So I left with an $85 pedicure and a back that had no pleasure of massage. Wah wah. We will not return.
