I actually like this nail salon and have been going there for a while, but unfortunately I've decided not to return. Almost every time I go, they assign me the same nail technician, and she is very rough with my nails. I have told her more than once that she was hurting me and asked her to be more gentle, but the same thing continued. It's disappointing because I do like the salon, but getting your nails done should be a comfortable and relaxing experience. I brought my daughter (at the time 12 yrs old) here in early July 2024. The lady that did her pedicure cut her big toe nail so short that it resulted in painful infection, multiple medical appointments, antibiotics, and daily epsom salt soaks. (I see that someone else said the same thing happened to them. I am surprised, but not.) It's been 18 months now and her nail is not back to normal. I've questioned the credentials of this salon often since then and of course, never returned. Cost aside for the medical appointments, I worry if her nail will ever look normal again. I really want to love this place. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. Legend was my go-to nail salon for two or three years but I found I was frequently frustrated. Even when I scheduled appointments, my time didn't seem to be their priority. Worst salon experience I have ever have. Got A pedicure and the result and service was not up to standard at all. I asked for square cut nails and left with somewhat rounded shapes with some of them being slanted/ crooked/ not straight. I had asked to change my color after she had tested it on 1 singular nail first, ended up painting over that tested nail with the new shade and continued. very odd they didn't take away the tested 1st coat. Didn't provide me with toe dividers while my nails dried, and when I did ask they only gave me 1. Bath soak for pedicure was not warm enough, and the massages were very fast. Super convenient spot, close to where I live and work. They get you in and out of there quickly but they don't seem to be rushing. They have the best prices in town!! I had my gel removed and replaced for only $25. Other places will up charge you for gel removal they didn't. I have enjoyed this salon in the past, whenever I treat myself to a mani or pedi it was my first choice. Today I had some extra time so I stopped in to see if they could do a pedi, they asked me to come back in 20 minutes. No problem, I went across the street for a coffee. Came back inside 20 minutes later and they asked me to pick out a color and they would be with me in a few minutes. 10 minutes later another customer walks in and says hi I'm here for my 2pm pedi. So the staff member walks over to me and says gesturing to the other customer - she has an appointment, please come another time. If they had an appointment that would prevent them from fitting me in why ask me to come back? Seems they were just ensuring that slot was filled if their appointment no-showed. No apology or anything just please come another time. I understand if a salon can't fit in a walk in but just say so, don't leave me hanging for a half hour with the expectation I'll be accommodated. I have gone to this place multiple times because it is conveniently close to my house. My mom always goes to this place too, SO THEY KNOW US. HOWEVER, I've had multiple bad experiences here. The first time usually I call Any nail place to reserve a spot because i don't know if they will be busy or not. I called and I said I was going to come in, I went in. There is ONLY ONE lady who does fills and she wasn't there. The other people apologized and told me to come back and I said no because I had already called and it was a waste of my time going there to begin with. The second time I had called in the morning and asked to come in later that day. I got there and she immediately Says "sorry we cannot help you" and I was like I made a reservation this morning, I cannot come back. Her mood Instantly changed and she went and helped me. She then began to speak in Vietnamese to her co-workers. The next time - I went into get a pedicure, the lady scrubbed my feet for maybe like 10 seconds and then was done. While I watched the other workers do the other older ladies for way longer. I could definitely tell I was treated differently and that isn't fair. Just because I'm not older doesn't mean I should be getting treated differently. I will not come back to this place. It is unfair and disorganized! This is a very convenient location for me. I would have visit more often if I am more confident on their sanitize work on their tools. The tools always store inside a beat up box with a half peel label "CLEAN". Today, I saw nail file dust all over the box. I can never see them pull tools out from the UV box. When asked, they always say yes the tools are clean. To the owner: I don't mind to pay more if you can assure me how clean the tools are. About the polish job, it really depends on who is working on your nails and how busy they are at the moment. If I go, I definitely go during their off peak time to avoid rush job. This is the worst fill I have ever had! Very uneven, lumpy, and thick. I made an appt with Cindy but she wasn't there when I got there. When she finally did show up she was super rushed and spent maybe 10 minutes doing my fill and then had another girl paint my nails. I've had some really great experiences here, but my last one really ruined my nails. I got an SNS powder manicure and the technician must have been new or something because she ground my nails down really low. They were so thin that in some spots they were almost gone, like sore to the touch and almost just skin. Now they're so thin they break at the slightest touch and I have to regrow them from scratch. I have had some awesome manicures here, maybe just call ahead if you want a powder manicure and make sure you get somebody comfortable with the service. read more

I had a horrible experience today with my pedicure. I have pretty bad ingrown toe nails specially my big toes. So I usually shy away to have them trim by someone else. My husband wanted to get me pampered since it was our 10th anniversary. I had been coming here a few times for manicure and have been overall satisfied with their service so I thought I could trust them with my toe nails. I specifically told the lady I do not want my nail corners trimmed because I will get terrible pain with ingrown nails. I repeated multiple times to her that I wanted to have a straight cut because it would worsen my ingrown nail. "I want a straight cut, please do not trim off my toe nail edges. I don't want round edges!" I wanted to make sure she understood. (I really wanted to make a point here) She not only trimmed off all my toe nail edges, she cut my toe nails so short it started to hurt when I walk. I didn't realize how short and rounded my nail were until after I drove home. So I went back to express my frustration hoping they would apologize for their mistake. Instead the owner gave me a lecture about her 25years of experience and how this is not a big deal. Your nail would eventually grow back, this is not a problem, this is how we trim ingrown nails and nobody had any problems with us before she said. What the #*%¥!!?? At this point I was furious! I didn't wanted to make a big deal out of this if they just apologize. So I asked for a refund. The owner wanted to give me a gift certificate so I could come back for a different service. Are you kidding me? They eventually refunded me the $30 for the pedicure and made me pay $20 for manicure, and the lady who did my nail came over and belittled me saying: it's ok, you can come back again and I will do you nail again. Sorry $30 meant so much to you. You've lost a customer that would have spent much more than that in a big skim of life. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Terrible customer service! I would give them a 5star based on how beautiful the gentleman who works there does my nails. They are thin how I like great shape always even and the shellac is never too thick. But unfortunately my nails have broken within less than a week the last two time I went, which could be attributed to how thin they are. But in reality one of the women who works there is extremely rude, I only deal with her attitude and constant "irritated" comments in her language because of how well my nails turn out. It isn't a place where I could have a relaxing experience. I went in for a brow wax and came out with a burn! The whole time the last was complimenting my eyebrows which I had to clean up when i got home because they were to my satisfaction. I started to feel the burn right away and applied aloe when i got home and used semi-cold wet rags for an hour to help heal the burn. Now, it's four days later and they're pealing! They're going to scar and they're painful. I do not recommend going for any type of wax. read more

[UPDATE 5/5/14: I miss their old pedicure massage chairs! They used to be really strong and massaged the crap out of your back. They new ones...you can barely feel the massage chair at all :( That was my favorite part about coming here. Service and pedis are still great though... ] I came in for the first time today and enjoyed my experience. Here are a few highlights (and low lights). Nail polish wall was a little chaotic. No organization to them (I like when they're arranged by color - less anxiety). Not a huge selection, but decent. Shellac colors were on separate wall. I'll have to try that out some other time. The guy working here did my pedicure. He was very nice. He shaped my nails as requested. Worked on my calluses - even busted out a dremel to grind them down. I kinda felt like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. Slightly embarrassed. Anyway, he gave a great massage. It was on the rough side, but nothing near painful and I liked it :) The massage chairs are the best. Those things crank your back - loved it. The actual paint job wasn't spectacular. The polish didn't cover my entire toenail on two of the toes, but nothing major. Clean space, not too tacky on the decor. Mellow music playing in background (some 90's jams that brought back memories). Price was reasonable. $23/pedicure. I got in right away for my pedicure, but as I was leaving a wait had started. So come in early or make an appointment. They have earlier hours than most places, which is nice (opens 9:30a, 10a on Sunday). Just a mile from my house and I'll definitely be back. read more

I went here for eyebrows and Pedicure. Service was very average but the unacceptable part was hygiene of the salon and unprofessional staff. Why unhygienic ? Wax bottles, wax kit, table, linings all were stained. I was horrified to see how untidy the inner room where they did eyebrows. White towel used as a bedspread was almost brown in color. How unprofessional ? Forget about engaging the customer and feeling their presence, all the ladies there were non stop chatting in their local language. It was seriously so frustrating as they did not even stop for a minute. At some point, I almost felt like they were talking about me. It felt very rude and unprofessional.
