It was all around a wonderful experience.

Since having extensions I've noticed a drastic increase in strangers hitting on me, the execution was absolutely seamless, and I've been to other professional hair stylists since getting them (just for hair styling) and none of them were able to tell I had extensions until I explained that I did. Not only that, but I've also seen a tremendous improvement in the growth and quality of my natural hair underneath. The price was also very reasonable: $600 ish for the hair weft itself (this is basically a once a year cost) $200 for installation (every 8 weeks or so) Sarah also cut, toned, styled, and did a conditioning treatment on my hair to perfectly match the extensions. It all really made a difference so I would recommend these add ons each time !! Truly there's nowhere else that will match this amazing quality, beautiful style, and low price point.

I did some research for a local hairstylist and I came across Carrie and decided to give her a try. It was nice she has online booking... I usually don't book unless there's online booking. Anyways, I sat down and told Carrie I'm feeling ugly. I wanted a very asymmetrical Bob, which nobody seemed to be able to give me and some color underneath. I also have a hair, pulling disorder, called trichotillomania, and don't usually open up about it, but Carrie made me feel as if I could tell her anything. Since my hair had to be bleached, the process took several hours, but we talked the entire time. I feel like I've been friends with Carrie for years. At the end, I seriously teared up. I don't think she knew that because I felt absolutely wonderful by the haircut and the color. Carrie's incredibly humble and to my surprise when she showed me the price, I thought it was going to be a lot more. But given how humble she is, she refuses to charge an insane amount of money as some stylist do. If you love good music like, classic punk rock and Elvis Presley, you'll be in for a treat because Carrie does too. 100% recommend Carrie over and over again. As a random first-time Groupon client, Kelley could have cropped and dropped me in a heartbeat, but…read moreshe didn't. She took the time to really LOOK, TALK, and DISCUSS me. ME. No up-sell. No shenanigans. No "well if you..." NO! Kelley is the type of person that will discuss at length with you what you want your hair to look like and what you are willing to deal with. I expressed early on that I didn't want to deal with styling. Kelley found a way to tap into my tresses' wavelength (sad attempt at pun for wavy hair) and now I have a style I can wash, comb, sprunch minimally on the way to work, and have adorably styled hair without all the damaging heat (and time suck). But.. (there is always a but)... her true magic is in her coloring skills. Kelley is a color NINJA! Kelley pulled out her swatches like a fricken Samurai and wielded them like I was a Japanese princess worthy of... holy hyperbole... let's just say she picked out amazing color. You know it's amazing color when all but 3 out of ALL OF THE GRAYS have been organically annihilated and your own personal title of "urban hippie" hasn't been compromised. This is the most natural looking dye job I have ever had. Let's just say, Kelley knows what she's doing. She selected the most amazing color combinations to gracefully transition my roots/prior dye hacks and gray hairs into a color scheme that is not only conducive to growing out but also incredibly healthy for my hair. Compliment #1: "Your hair is so much more shiny, what did you do?" Compliment #2: "Your hair is so soft, I want to shave you and weave your trimmings into a scarf" Compliment #3: "I didn't know you had curly hair?" Ok, so compliment 3 really isn't a "compliment" by conventional standards. The compliment is the fact that not only did Kelley quell the uneven tonal quality of my hair, but she ultimately improved and amplified my hair's natural tendencies. Kelley makes magic happen. Just go to Kelley.

After being in her hands for a couple hours, my hair health and look has turned around completely - it is almost as if she performed a miracle. It is soft, stylish, and radiating. The Kelley Cut has given me a style that I don't even need to blow dry - a dab of product and a comb out is all I need to attain that stylish but messy look I so desired. I am not easy to please - I wanted healthier hair, but I didn't want her to cut much length off. I didn't know what color I wanted, she helped me identify the right color for my eye color. She managed to hit all my concerns. She's amazing! Thank you, Kelley!
