Pumps are always in disrepair. Pump #1 randomly shuts down and overcharges when it dies making it a very difficult discussion with the cashier who could give a rat's ass about the problem. The car wash has leaking pipes all over the place. All the plants around the pumps are dying or are dead. Receipts are never available at the pumps. The pumps always look like they are tampered with, i.e., the door is always open where the receipts and card reader are located. Monitor your credit card carefully after going to this gas station. If you are desperate, absolutely desperate for fuel, then this place is acceptable. read more

This location is always soooo busy and very dirty. Both inside and outside are very dirty and there is always trash everywhere. The shopping center is clean besides this station. The only positive is the gas prices are good. read more

my car is so dirty and its time to wash it.. this machine washing is the fastest way to get my car cleaned and shined coz im too lazy to wash it myself.. they have 3 options and the very basic one is $5.99 (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mG8rRYHOGYxwQ-nLUd5iSg?select=AcsN1eVFk6CxJ_ukmrTvLg#AcsN1eVFk6CxJ_ukmrTvLg). then it goes up to $6.99 to $7.99. i think the more expensive one includes waxing and some extra things, i cant remember the details. i might go for the $6.99 next time.. i remember it used to be $4.99 for the basic one, but i guess they increased the price since the price of water has increased. the scene when i sit down in the car while this watching my car being poured with water and soap reminds me of the final destination scene, which is kinda freak me out.. anyways, this machine did wash my car pretty good.. it does have some dirt and certain area that wasnt being wash thoroughly, but i cant really expect my car to be really clean at this price.. its certainly cheaper than if i ask somebody to wash it for me, which can cost me around $20 + tip... not to mention that the last time i asked someone to wash my car, he broke my side mirror.. so its kinda a traumatic experience for me.. ive never really buy anything from the actual store, but ive been here several times to get my car wash.. if u wanna save money or too lazy to wash ur car, why not try getting ur car wash here.. its fast and convenient.. read more

ampm - my receipt - i got the basic one for $5.99, which isnt a bad deal.. - Convenience Stores Near Me - Irvine, California

Don't know why people hate this gas station so much! I come here all the time. They always have one of the lowest prices in the area, and the machines are quick/new. One thing that bothers me the most about some gas stations is when you click a button on the screen, and it takes like 30 seconds just to acknowledge what button you just pressed. Ridiculous..but this Arco's machines are quick and clean-looking. There are some rumors that certain gas stations have better gas. However, there have been studies done that basically all gas is very similar to each other. Business Insider says "Independent stations usually buy their fuel from larger, name-brand oil companies, so it's not much different from what you'd get for a higher price down the road. Off-brand gasoline is sometimes formulated without additives designed to clean the engine, but your car should run fine on that gas." read more

Got a car wash here that left my car completely wet afterwards. During drying it just all dripped back onto my car. Waste of money

If i can give zero star, I would! The cashier is so ridiculous, i asked for a 25 bucks fuel, and the pump stoped at 15bucks! And when i return to her and asked if i can get the rest money back, she was so rude and asked me to deal with it myself! She was like how can I know why this happened? I would never go back here for gas any more!! read more

ampm - Poor service! Worst gas station! - Convenience Stores Near Me - Irvine, California

Tonight I experienced the worst discrimination I've ever felt in my life at this gas station. I walked inside and simply asked for gas on pump #6. The man working inside who refused to give me his name looked at me and said, "I will not serve you anything". I was completely baffled and lcould not understand what he meant by that. I literally thought he was trying to make a joke, I asked him again to give me my gas because i was in a hurry and it was raining. He repeated that he will not serve me because I looked like somebody that he does not like. Mind you, I have never seen this man in my life before and I am a regular at this gas station. I could not believe the words that were coming out of his mouth. He then proceeded to tell me to get the hell out of the way so he can serve other customers. At this point I am confused, angry and completely embarrassed for absolutely no good reason. No human being should ever feel that level of discrimination because you look a certain way. This man again has never seen me in his life. I calmly walked away and call the authorities. Police showed up and politely explained to me that they have the right to refuse service to anyone for absolutely no reason which I understood and in a calm manner left the location. I went on to another gas station. Btw there are not many 24-hour gas stations in Irvine so I had to drive around looking for one. I never cursed at him or said any foul language towards him but on multiple occasions he question my intelligence and my Integrity as a person. I honestly do not write reviews or call the police on anyone but enough is enough, I will not stand for this. He kept on repeating the fact that I will not do anything about this and I am bluffing. People like him have to be dealt with. How are you going to refuse service to a person that you've never seen in your life before based on what you think or assume? Telling me that I look like somebody that he does not like? What does that even mean man? That is the main reason why I contacted the Police, its not sufficient enough for me to walk away from you with peace especially when I had no wrongdoing .If I was in the wrong in any type of way I would have left and not said anything. Subsequently I found out that he's done this to multiple other black males in the past who never did anything about it and simpl let it be. I refuse to put myself in a box like that. This man does not deserve to work there for one more night I will expose him and everybody should know the injustice that's going on at this location. Apparently I am not the first person to experience this, I'm just the first one willing to express myself about my encounter. He refused to give me his name but I do have a photo of him below. This is just one of many steps I am taking to expose this flawed employee that should not be working there anymore. BTW I mentioned to him that I have never seen him before ever in my life and he's mistaken me for somebody else and he chose to ignore that multiple times. Like I said I don't know his name but this is who he is. I'm looking forward to talking to management and corporate about his actions an unacceptable behavior. That is my home gas station of over 16 years I will not stand for unnecessary discrimination against me or any other human. read more

Wow the cashier is pretty hot tempered and impatient, just mumbling things whenever I ask a question. Not sure if I should name her out lol

The worst service and they even rip you off for .35 when you use your debit. For anything. Because people don't read the small sign before you drive in, there is a huge wait at the car wash. Don't go here! read more

The guy behind the counter is an rude old guy who works in customer service but can't multitask! So he thinks he needs to give you a etiquette lesson. This is 2:40pm in a Friday. read more

Went to buy some masks to protect myself and my family at this Arco location, was charged over $5 per single use disposable mask. They were individually wrapped in shrink wrap with out price tags or barcodes. The cashier scanned a completely different item just to ring them up individually. Since we were in a rush we ended up paying the hefty price tag but won't be ever coming back to Arco in general. Price gouging should be illegal and should be a crime to sell items such as emergency or medical supplies, during the state of emergency. read more

I came specifically just for their car wash which I have done in the past many times however this time was very disappointed as their car wash did not dispense any soap on my vehicle!! I will be looking for other car wash locations!!! read more

The cashier here at graveyard shift is rude for not letting me use the restroom , because he said I can't use the restroom everytime and he tried to closed the store without notifying the customers to put note that we're not allowed to go inside . He is old man who thinks he's the owner of the ampm . I think k he should be replaced for being rude to customers and I'm always buying here some drinks and getting some gas also and this is the only gas station that trying to closed the door when it's supposed to be open for 24hrs. read more

This place is SHADY. They will overcharge for everything and anything. When I spoke with the store manager/owner, Victor/Hagop Kofdarali, he was belligerent and unreceptive. If you liked to be jacked, this is the place for you. Otherwise do not come here unless your car is running on empty and even then I would suggest going elsewhere. Use this place at your own peril. read more

Very bad customer service and the two cashiers doesn't even know what they're doing. Didn't even apologized in her mistake. BAD SERVICE. She charged the credit card more than what My son told her. read more

Very useless store, even when uou walk inside they are not helping you find anything, and just point out to different direction. Just need to be more customer freibdly, I was in the store yesterday and they just acted like no cutomers there. read more

This place is usually decent but the guy who works around midnight and the early morning has awful service. He the only person who locks the doors and customers end up waiting outside around 5 minutes (sometimes longer). All the other employees are good but this guy is just the worst. read more

Worst gas station I ever went to. I'm a college student and don't have tons of money, so I used a gift card for Arco that I got for my birthday. They didn't process it right and it took 45 MINUTES just to tell me to try it again in 3 days. Absolutely horrible customer service and time management skills from the staff. You would be crazy to think I'll ever spent money there. read more

I want to give 0 star if I can. The service is rude, you will see the sign "car wash pay inside" when you already in line. And you never know when the car in front of you finished. Very wired, mean old man!!! read more

So my tank was low and decided to get a little bit of gas so I can get home first. The gas in Irvine is way to expensive for me to get a full tank. So I got gas here and my gas pointer didn't move at all! OMG. I heard that Arco gas is water down, but is it that water down to a point that it won't move the gas pointer? I've done the same thing before and the pointer did move. I feel like I got jacked. I really wondered if I even got any gas in my tank at all.... I was driving home with a light on and luckily I made it home fine. read more

25% of the time I come here there's something broken. It's usually the credit card machine at the pump. Today, that was the case. But honestly, Arco gas Price is usually the cheapest. This is by far one of the best quick stops ever. The people there are really friendly and remember when you are a regular. The manager Victor is great, I needed a receipt for a report for work and he went back and looked for it in his system. Wafa and Nour are great as well. Patti always has a smile on her face and my man Basheem is great. They always great you and ask how your day is and make sure the deliver the best customer service they can. Thank you al for what you guys do and keep up the good work! read more

When I get there the store is locked and everyone is waiting outside to get in. The guy finally comes ten minutes later and opens the door and gives everyone a dirty look. Then I wait in line a long time while the worker is yelling at a customer to go to the end of the line when they are trying to pay for some gas. When it's finally my turn, I notice a tiny sign on the credit card machine that says " no cash back" which is obviously something he put himself and made his own rules. I only came for cash back so I ask why it isn't working and he yells at me saying " all you people come tonight to get cash back that's why !" I just left and couldn't even comprehend why he was so rude and how he could just stop making no cash back because he wanted to be rude. read more

Gas prices are good. I come here most of the time to fill up. It's nice because this Arco allows you to use credit cards unlike most. But there is always a line inside if you decide you want to purchase something. It can take ten minutes sometimes to buy a soda. They need more staff. Or maybe just more efficient staff. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. I've been using their car wash for several years using their cheapest "express wash". Today, I noticed that no soap was coming out during my wash! A sand paper wash! Their sign at the register says foambrite for express wash and I complained to the clerk and asked for a refund. The manager said that for past 1year, this was the case. So basically, to get soap for a car wash, you need to upgrade $2 more. Huh? $2 more just to have soap for ur car wash??? The clerk (his name is Bassam) got into a shouting match with me and said no refund because the manager had explained that there was no soap in basic wash. I never heard no such thing. Stay away from this place! Terrible service. read more

I bought a car wash coupon and it explicitly stated that it was good for 99 days, yet I showed up within 50, and was told that it expires within 30 days. The manager himself would not honor the coupon even if it said good for 99 days. Screw this place read more

Car wash doesn't except cars at the machine because they want you to go inside and be subdued to the $0.35 debit/credit fee. It'll waste your time trying to get a quick wash in. read more
