Usaly go to perris location but decided to check out riverside location. So I walked in was greeted. Bought some ammo for my 40 and my Ar-15 older gentlemen helped me out on the sale of the ammo great guy. Keeped looking around and a younger guy helped me out on a few questions I had about my Ar. So he answered one of my questions and just walked away! He just left me standing there so I just walked out! Not too happy about that at all! That isn't customer service! read more

Purchased an ak from there. Their customer service during the sale was good. That same day i found a lower price on their website and spoke with george, he said he would give me the difference in store credit when i picked up my rifle. When i showed up afterwards i spoke with matt (manager) and he said that it was a no go. That they were not gonna honor that. If u get something promised to you make sure you get it right away because then they go out of their way to not honor their promises. read more

So my wife and I stopped in to look into getting my wife a firearm she could carry. I had been in several times just to look around. My first impression was that the store was nice and had a large variety of guns. They also had a lot off cool accessories like hard cases, molle poches, cleaning kits and even reloading equipment. We were helped by a gentleman named jim, he was very knowledgeable and suggested a springfield XD9 subcompact. I was worried because it was my wife's first gun and it looked to big for her (she is only 5' tall). When she held it, she said it felt comfortable. Jim even showed us how to break it down and clean it. He was very helpful. We ended up buying the XD9 and my wife loves it! Ammo Bros even suggested a company for my wife and i to take formal training. All in all it was a great experience. read more

Just went down to check out the store. Spent 20 minutes in the store. Four workers there one customer besides myself. Was never asked if I had any questions or if I needed anything. Decided I wanted to buy a rifle case, stood at the register for 5 more minutes while looking at the employees as they looked at me standing there. Walked out with out a single word from the staff. If this is how they sell products they won't be in business long. The owner should have a word with the staff from 1/20/16 and maybe tell them to help customers not ignore them. No sales. Went in looking for a set of night sights for my p229. They had the full allotment of Trijicon Bright & Tough in stock and a few of those for 40 S&W and 45 ACP (Sig Sight picture is different on 40 & 45 than 9mm and most stores only have parts on hand for 9mm.) I purchased the sights and asked about installation they said they could do them right then. Perfect. What I did not know was that since my Sig was an old West German Model the fitting on the sights was not as easy. The guys took their time and fit new sights to the slide perfectly. The guy who fit my sights also brought out his Sig to show me the SRT he installed on his. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. Super cool people with great service. I'm a first time gun owner and I purchased two guns from Ammo Bros probably on the busiest day of the year...Black Friday. The staff here is amazing. They were so patient and helpful with my beginner self asking a lot of questions. They were able to go over many options and help me select the best fire arms for my wife and me. Since we bought on the busiest day of the year, our fire arms were also ready for pick up on a busy day since everyone who bought on Black Friday were picking up their guns also. Again the staff was so patient and didn't compromise any time when going over how to properly handle and dismantle the guns with us. They really wanted to make sure we were comfortable and didn't just send us out with the possibility of hurting ourselves. Oh and they did all this even though we were there after they were supposed to be closed. Will definitely be going here for all gun needs in the future. I highly recommend this place read more

Came in on 12/17/16. It was extra busy with the holidays and everyone rushing to get in under the last chance to buy deadline. I just wanted to write this review because it was the best experience I've ever had in a gun store. You have to make sure to sign in at the counter on a clipboard, and they will call your name to help you. They have big orange sign on a dummy as you walk in, but still people were standing around getting angry because they didn't sign in. I was helped by Jeffery B. He was very relaxed and welcoming of questions. Had no problem showing me everything I wanted to see. He was also knowledgable and informative about the new laws and how the purchase will most likely be affected. It was the first shop I didn't get "little-lady'd" in. He didn't treat me like some idiot that knew nothing because I am female. I've been to several other places where that is the first instinct for most of the guys I've dealt with. It never ended in a sale for them, though ;). Just wanted to say thanks. In the time I was standing there, I referred 3 people to the shop. I will be back again in the future. read more

Everytime I come ammo Bros they treat me right. They answer all my questions and is very patient with me. The staff is pretty consistent so they recognize me when I come in even though I'm just an occasional shooter. Their prices are fair considering places like bass bro are expensive. Their rifle selection is nice too. I say this cuz some small time shops have particular contracts with certain manufacturers to help boost their business. Ammo Bros has a little bit of everything. Even some knives which you don't see very much unless it's at big time places. They also have backpacks and colors for women. I would say this store is much better in customer service and gear than the Ontario location. I don't know what else to say. One if not multiple people say hi as I enter the door and always ask if I need help when I linger in a certain area. If your anywhere in riverside, this is the gun shop to visit. read more

I've heard how bad customer service is at the Ontario store for years, so I was curious how this new Riverside location would be. Found out on my first visit today, it sucks, too. A plastic crate full of pistol cases with a sign "Vodoo Pistol Cases -- $9.99". Grabbed one of those and a box of 500/.45. I'm sorry sir, that pistol case is $16.99, they forgot to take the sign down from yesterday. It's 3:30 in the afternoon, and they expect me to believe nobody has bought one of these yet today? Bullshit. So I WON'T be back tomorrow to buy that CZ that's on sale. Probably don't have them in stock anyway. read more

I have been to many gun shops and was chomping at the bit waiting for this one to open since it is so close to my house. Although it took a while to get opened with product, since then it is now my go to gun shop. Travis and his team do a great job attending to the numerous customers even though most times it is very busy. There is never an attitude and the are always willing to help research and discuss options, features, and answer any and all questions you may have. You can tell that this isn't just a job for Travis and most of his staff, but something they are passionate about. I have taken a few of my firearms back that I have bought there to share what upgrades and improvements I have made, usually resulting in other customers coming over checking things out, discussing what I did and in a couple instances even exploring or buying something similar while I was there. My husband just purchased a S&W 45acp JM series, he was amazed how different the store was compared to turners where we usually purchase our firearms. I went with him to pick up his gun today and I saw why he loves Ammo Bros. So much! The store is well stocked, very clean, the guys that work there are very knowledgeable and professional. I would like to begin with saying that I am not leaving this review just about a gun shop but an overall business. The way this business is ran gives me inspiration on how to run my own business. I would secondly like to say that I usually wouldn't go out of my way to write a review about somebody or their business but Ammo Bros in Riverside deserves it. I am new to the industry of firearms and ammo brothers in Riverside has made me want to continue pursuing pursuing this hobby. I began first at on target in South Orange County and can say nothing but bad my experience with them. After that, I went over to rifle gear in fountain Valley. My first experience there was pretty good but then the second experience made me never want to go back there again and I never will. I as well went to Turners in Orange and the staff there seemed put out if you asked a question and were very cold with their responses if you did have a question. Then one day I was driving around in Riverside and out of the corner Of my eye I saw Ammo Bros. I decided to stop in because I had some time to kill and from the first minute I walked in there they treated me absolutely amazing. I first was blown away by how large of a selection of firearms they carried. I then saw that they had a huge amount of accessories. Another funny thing that I caught onto was that the place is impeccably clean. Are usually spend an hour to a few hours every time I go there and each and every worker takes turns cleaning the glass and dusting. Usually at businesses you'll have a few nice people and there is always that one mean person. Not at Ammo Bros. They are all so nice and very knowledgeable and informative. From the first time I went there they made me feel comfortable and not made me feel like I was some dumb newbie to which I was and still am. But I have learned so much in the past six months that I got into this industry from them that I can now say I am maybe graduating up from a newbie. lol. The store is ran by Travis. If the owners and Ammo Bros are reading this, you have done a great job on choosing him as the store manager because he is on top of the store like you wouldn't believe. He is very professional and how he conducts himself and how he treats customers and how his staff takes care of them. It is not only me that they spend so much time with and help out. They do it to each and every person and make everyone feel comfortable. Their prices are unbeatable as well. Being that I am a bargain shopper and I review everything before I purchase it, I have yet to find anybody with better prices than them. I even find out their prices are better than online stores. But even if the online store at a better price, it would be my pleasure to give it back to Ammo Bros instead. The other manager Danny is such a great guy as well. He is very kind and very knowledgeable. I enjoy speaking with him every time I go in. Then you have Matt. What a great guy. I have learned a lot from him and he always points me in the right direction on what to do with my firearms if they are not functioning properly in anyway. Then there is Jason. Super funny and great customer service. He works hard and enjoys his job. I find myself asking question after question and he as well as all of the other guys never hesitate to answer. I recently met George and he is super cool. George, Danny and Jason were very helpful in choosing my choice of scopes for my Remington 700 that I purchased as well from there store. George is my go to guy for AR15 questions. He has endless amount of knowledge. Last but not least. The greeter and cashier Mariah. Super friendly and enjoyable to hand my Credit card over to. I can't say enough about each and every experience I have when I go to Ammo Bros. I continuously tell all of my friends that are interested in firearms to go to there store. I am a customer for life and will never venture out onto another store. I would like to thank the staff at Ammo Bros in Riverside for all the help you have given to me.
