Quick and easy installations from a true professional and very reasonable prices. Had a great time talking about his law enforcement experiences while waiting. Dave was really quick with helping me swap out my OEM rear sights on my Springfield XD to a red dot Hex Dragonfly sight. He also offered great advice on performing any further modifications and what to do when I need to swap out the firing pin down the road (after about 5k rounds lol). His price was very inexpensive, and his service was top-notch. I will definitely be going back to him in the future when there are modifications, I'm not able to do on my own. read more

I asked a question via text about an issue my wife was having with a new gun. He responded that it was best to let it get broken in before looking in to making any changes. Had to take in my AR-15 because I had complete bricked it. Broke a hellfighter California pin in the lower locking it to the upper. Looked around for a reliable gunsmith and ran into D Street Gunsmithing. Not only was David able to fix my blunder, but he also informed me of alternative options to keep shooting legally in The State of California without the need for that wonky CA pin. David was responsive to my initial message I had left on his voicemail, and quick with his service (dropped it off on a Monday afternoon and was able to pick it up that same week on a Wednesday). David was also kind enough to show me the in's and out's of my rifle before leaving his shop (as I am a novice with rifles). I totally recommend David's service and will be back for future modifications and/or repairs as needed. read more

I purchased a firearm from D-Street Gunsmithing via GunsAmerica.com not knowing anything about D Street's reputation. I could not have made a better (luckier!) choice. First the price was excellent, but I was more impressed with the great communication and customer support. Dave, the owner, was very helpful in working with me to get the gun shipped to a local FFL and answering all my beginner questions, as I am relatively new to firearms. I always enjoy dealing with companies which are passionate about customer service. D Street Gunsmithing absolutely that! read more

AWESOME!!!!! I purchased a Remington 870 shotgun from Dave!! if you want a real HONEST person to deal with please go to him. he is GREAT!!! I bought the shotgun off of guns of America. Dave shipped it promptly!! here is where I will comment on his INTEGRITY: I was accidentally overcharged. this was not a major deal as I had cleared it up with the bank a couple of days prior. I get home today and Dave left a message with an apology that he had overcharged me. normally, in my honest opinion another business would not do that. not Dave...he went that extra mile and he cares about his customers and his actions and not words reflect integrity!! If I needed work done on my guns, I would go to him, but unfortunately I live 500 miles away. do business with him either online or in person. He is a great and personable guy and is one of the best businesses I have dealt with. thanks Dave! read more
