I'm getting married this week, so of course I had to get some lash extensions!…read more I found Luxe Lashes on Yelp, so I decided to give them a go after reading all of their great reviews. I had been doing A LOT of research on eyelash extensions before deciding to go with Luxe Lashes, because I was very concerned about maintaining the health of my natural lashes, and I wanted to make sure I was going with someone reputable. Their website is very informative and reiterated all the safe practices I was looking for, so I knew they were going to be great. It took me a couple minutes to find the salon, but it is really cute and well decorated! My appointment was with Paris, and upon meeting her I was very excited to get my lashes done. She was super sweet and very knowledgeable, and she talked with me about what length/volume my natural lashes could handle, and told me that they wouldn't do anything more then 2mm longer than my natural lashes, so as not to damage my natural lashes. She said it's always possible to work up to longer/fuller lashes too. We discussed the look I was hoping to achieve and she told me that she'd let me know once she got to look at my lashes more closely if I could do the 80 lashes or the 100. I told her I wanted something super dramatic and noticeable, something that would really show up in the wedding photos. Once we got upstairs, she gave me a neck pillow, I laid down on the table and she got to work. I have to admit, I am super squeamish when it comes to stuff around my eyes. I have trouble going to the eye doctor, or getting my makeup professionally done, so I was VERY nervous about having to lay completely still and have someone working that close to my eyes for an hour +. Besides when she put on the gel eye pads (which go very close to your eye, to hold down the bottom lashes) it was completely relaxing. When she was putting on the gel pads I couldn't help blinking a bunch, so she had to adjust them a couple times; but once she got to work on my eyelashes I had a hard time staying awake! It was very relaxing to lay there with the music playing, and I felt like the 2 hours went by super quick. When I woke up, I had AMAZING full, gorgeous long lashes. These are the lashes dreams are made of! I have to admit, I have already booked my appointments through the holidays because I am not ready to part with these gorgeous things any time soon! The best part, is that since getting them done I have gotten TONS of compliments! I wake up looking fresh and put together with no effort. Even my fiance said they looked amazing and he couldn't believe I didn't have any makeup on! Worth. every. penny!

I did a lot of research prior to making my decision to have permanent makeup. I looked at each artists' portfolio (IG) & while they all did stunning work, Hannah was my girl! We chatted on IG for a while and she was so helpful & patient with me as I asked questions & shared concerns. After we spoke I booked my appointment for my consultation. The next few days I kept seeing her brilliant work & knew that she was the perfect person, so I asked her if we could do my consultation & appointment the same day! She made it work no problem! On the day of my appointment I arrived 15 mins early & we got started with paperwork. Once that was done we discussed my vision of how I wanted my brows (color, size, type of style I wanted). Hannah was kind enough to mock up two different styles so I could pick after seeing it & it made a world of difference. My biggest stress was choosing if I wanted more hairlike brows or more shaded in type with visible hair strokes. Hannah mapped out my brows based off measurements and bone structure (which I love) using a temporary pencil - & once I selected which one I liked we got to work on numbing. The rest was history! On top of that, they were offering a discount on a full set with Leah as she was a new artist. Boom, decision made! I booked an appointment through their online portal (which does require a deposit) and was excited to give Lash Out a try. When I arrived, I immediately noticed how cute & intimate the space is. Great decor and everyone friendly & working away! I filled out some waivers which gave me important information about my lash extension care & Leah reviewed some highlight with me as well before I left. The initial full set appointment took about 2 and a half hours. I did start to get a bit antsy but they do their best to make you comfy! I told Leah I wanted my lashes to look natural with just a bit of noticeable drama and she nailed the assignment! I purchased the $10 lash care kit as well and it has lasted me throughout a few weeks as I have gone back for two fill appointments with Lauren. Lauren is also amazing & her work is so beloved you need to make sure you book with her well in advance!
