You can get your lips tinted, eyebrows put on (or waxed off), tooth gems, and brow laminations, but I think there is more to come! This is a woman owned & operated business, and it is gorgeous on the inside- so crisp & clean. I love being in here. There's a parking garage close by, and the entrance to Atelier is in the backside of the building (a little tricky). I love it here, and that's all I'll say about that.

She did a great job executing the top part of my nails and shortening them as I requested as I am starting a pottery class I need them short for. My issue is the fact that the thumbs and pointer fingers were not executed well in terms of the refill. I left the salon and noticed giant gaps on my thumbs. These photos were taken less than 24 hours after getting my nails done and it looks like my thumbs have been grown out for over 1 week. I have been getting my nails done for years and they do not grow this fast and I have never had them look like this immediately after leaving a Salon. They were asking me to pay $25 to get the refill fixed and repolished. The only thing they are offering to do for free is to touch up the gel. So I was stuck with heavily grown out acrylic that will be masked by gel. I was speaking with Than over the past 2 days and I became more and more upset with my interaction with them. They were unwilling to offer me any better option to fix my thumbs and pointer fingers even though this was an error of their employee. In my one email I used the word "crappy" to describe the work done on my nails and then they refused me service altogether. I paid $60 for these nails that look grown out 1+ weeks and I have only had them for 3 days. These likely won't last for another week and I feel insanely ripped off. I am shocked by this and this is truly the worst experience I've had at a Richmond nail Salon yet. In response to owners response (on Google) These are nails that I wanted done for my anniversary and I am upset they look the way they do after just 3 days. The polish is not the concern so that was not a real solution. The solution offered to me was offensive as I was requested to pay 50% the cost of a 10 finger refill to fix 4 fingers when this was not done properly the first time by an employee of yours. I agreed in email that the other fingers seemed to have grown naturally but I provided photos from Saturday showing the giant gap on my thumbs. That was taken less than 24 hours later. I did not say something at the salon because I did not notice it until I got outside, nor was I asked if I liked them. I had dinner plans to get to so I could not spend more time there. I find it completely unnecessary to decline services to me for using the word "crappy". It seems to me based off of prior reviews that your business does not fix mistakes that you make.

Going to Glamour Eyes will permanently harm your natural lashes!…read more Professionals certified in lash extensions know that you should not put more than one natural lash to each extension, but Glamour does this. I recently had my extensions removed and they had clumped like 5-7 natural lashes together! This wreaks havoc on the growth of your natural lashes, they will never be the same. I also had the glue all over my eyelids (when it's only supposed to be on the actual lash), and this gave me a really severe allergic reaction where my eyes puffed up to three times their normal size! I had to get the extensions removed and now have only my stubby little natural lashes (prior to Glamour eyes, I had really beautiful lashes). You're way more likely to get an allergic reaction if the glue is touching your skin, even if you don't have a problem with allergies or anything normally. This company is irresponsible- they say on their Facebook page that they're certified professionals, but I doubt that. Putting glue all over your eyelids and clumping lashes together is not proper practice! Seriously wish that I had never gone to Glamour Eyes- NOT worth it at all!

She handed me off to another tech to finish my French manicure and I told the guy what I wanted...Milky white background. In disappointment he said why did she put the pink instead of the milky white. Then apologized and said if we do the milky white it would make the nail thicker which I specifically said I didn't want (I wanted my nails thin". I had to settle for the pink which I didn't want because I didn't want to waste anymore of my time. At the end I paid $155 and they kept demanding tip. I gave $5 and they said "between the three??" And I'm like???? I tipped Kathy very well because I know hard work, dedication, and care but if you give me Mickey Mouse how can you expect tip??? I received the dry pedicure and my feet have never felt brand new... not too mention, its been a week and they still look and feel like I just got them done.
