She was very personable and great and very skilled at doing lashes. She took her time and was able to get rid of the outgrown lash clumps that my last tech had missed (which was a lot!) She was very professional and explained to me what she was doing to my lashes whenever I felt a pinch (which was not her fault, it was because my lashes were so clumped together) and gave me warning ahead of time. I would highly recommend Nyema and Glam Life Beauty Bar for your lash needs, but just be aware that they're a little more pricey than others because they operate out of a shop and there's a shop owner, while the other lash techs work out of their homes.

My eyebrows were sparse and needed shape from over plucking, waxing, threading etc. The shop is appointment only and she is booked a long way out and it was worth the wait. The shop is gorgeous, the lovely receptionist is so welcoming and everything was explained to me before Taylor got there. My eyebrows were numbed so that no time was wasted for Taylor to work. I received a custom facial from Lani and it was a great experience. She was super friendly and explained exactly what products she'd use based on my skin from her observation and my concerns. The facial was awesome and I'd love to put it in my routine consistently but it'd be a bit of a splurge for me. Now the space itself was beautiful but could use some improvements for customer experience. First the room I received my facial didn't have a curtain it was open which made it hard to relax and wind down because I could hear people moving throughout the spa and talking. A lot of talking. Not obnoxiously just more than I'd care to hear since I came to relax. Lastly. The music choices could also be a bit more relaxing like calming/soothing instrumentals rather than music with lyrics. Overall I'd visit again but some changes could make this a much better experience.

She let me snooze, which I often do during my appointments - but while I was awake she was so pleasant to talk with. My lashes look amazing! I feel sexy again ;) I drove over an hour to see her and it was well worth it. I've had a few technicians over the course of time I've been getting lash extensions, and Lisa is certainly in my top 2. She gets so busy so expect to be interrupted often. I sometimes feel that she's kind of mean, maybe she's just burnt out but I definately feel a difference from when she first started compared to now. Sometimes i'd rather lay quietly and leave instead of engaging in a conversation. Don't use the groupons or ask about it, she got really mad at me for bringing it up and it hurt my feelings. Low and behold, one of my young spirit children told me to try Belashified and the rest is history! Let's just say I'm a happy Lady! What an amazing young lady! I really loved having her do my lashes, but the distance made it necessary for me to find someone in the area to do my lashes if I wanted to continue having them done. I used Yelp to find luxe lashes. I booked an appointment with Anastasia. My first two times at luxe were a great experience, had no issues with the lashes. The third appointment was on Dec 23rd. It honestly seemed sorta short, I was wondering how my lashes were done so quickly. Well by the morning of Christmas, I realized all of my lashes were coming out. It was crazy- they were literally falling out in clumps in the middle of me talking to my patients! Which was sorta embarrassing. By the next morning they were almost completely gone, only the amount I had before the fill was left. I called luxe to ask what could be done. I was offered a free appointment for my lashes to get redone. I was leaving the area that day, and wouldn't be back until after the holidays, which was the whole reason I got my lashes done. After that I was scheduled for two months of 80hr work wks so I really didn't need lashes for that. Explained my situation and asked for a refund. By this point, it was clear no wanted to remedy my situation. I had to keep calling. Eventually I got in touch with the owner. Our whole convo I felt that she was accusing me of being the reason the lashes fell out (i.e. asking me if I showered or cried). However at the end of the convo she said she would refund me. The next day I was back home for the holidays. My friend looked at my lashes and said they had fallen out because they were placed way too far out on my lashes, and not enough glue was used. She removed the few left for me .... It's been over two weeks since then. I've called 2-3x to ask where my refund is. Refunds don't take over two weeks. I still feel like I'm being blamed for a bad lash job, and I feel that luxe cares more about money than making sure they do a good job.
