This is one of our local go to spots. The pizza is always delicious, quick service and fair prices.

We tried this place after moving here a couple years ago. We had a horrible experience and hadn't been back. We tried them for dinner this past week and by our experience nothing has changed. Service was horrible and non existent. Had to hail our server three times to get additional drinks. Also after the food was literally dropped at the table we learned it was not hot. That took more time to get the server and additional time to get the meal refired. The place was fairly empty but lots of dirty tables and stuff on the floor. We love this place! Best kept secret, as you can still walk in and get a table most of the time. Go while that's still a thing! :D I was raised by Sicilians (sounds very "raised by wolves" which, if you've been through a holiday dinner where your entire family ends up in a passionate *ahem* discussion, is not entirely inaccurate); excellent Italian food is the standard. As a result, I'm a little difficult to please with restaurant Italian food. Amici's is one of a very few Italian restaurants I'll keep going back to. Most of it is, in fact, the food. I have not had one bad bite there - ever! Whether it's lasagna or wood fired pizza or pesto pasta or chicken Marsala or manicotti or steak or dessert... you get the point - it's scrumptious. Man, I'm hungry now. LOL The icing on the cake, though, are the employees. Nearly everyone we've spoken to has worked there for years and has only positive things to say about working there. That says something about the management/owners, right? It feels good to support a restaurant that doesn't treat its employees like fearful minions! The restaurant itself is lovely. It's clean, nicely decorated, unassuming and comfortable for either dressing up for date night and vino, or dropping in wearing jeans for pizza and beer (I mean, so to speak - we don't drink... did I mention the n/a Amici punch is delicious?). My only caveat is I've got a sweet tooth so I'd love to see them expand their dessert collection! Special kudos to John, a server in his early 60s. He took great care of us the first time we went there, and we make a special point to say hi to him every time we visit. He always remembers us! Suffice it to say, we will be going back. Came with friend to Amici's for early dinner. We decided to get a Peach Sangria each for my wife and friend and I got a Coors Light beer. We ordered the Lasagna Al Forno to share. Off the Happy hour menu we got the 6 Baked Meatballs Bolognese, the Steamed Clams, the Bruschetta, the Fried Zucchini, Spinach Artichoke Dip, and later the Lemon Creme Layer Cake. Also got the free bread and butter. Food came pretty quickly and everything was wonderful. When we were done our waitress Kiley informed us their credit card system was down and they could only take cash. We don't carry much cash, and the owner had no backup plan/system for payment. We finally scrapped up $40 to take off our $114.64 bill, and took copy of my license and phone number to call me when system came back up. They called within an hour and we went back to pay the balance. Our waitress was great, but the owner needs to come up with a plan if his payment system crashes again. It should not be the customer's problem to jump thru hoops to come back and pay. read more

I truly don't know how this place gets any business at all, I have tried to like this place several times, tried takeout, dine in, you name it. It's never any good. They used to have a fresh salad bar that was pretty good, but now that's even gone. Their pizza taste like cardboard, I don't get the hype on their bread, I thought it was just meh. I really wanted to like this place. We placed a to go order. We ordered cheesy bread, the walnut salad, chicken Parmesan, the cannelloni, the beef ravioli with the beef sauce and some other chicken dish. The only two things that were not bland were the cheese bread and the beef sauce. We had to add our own seasonings at home, my dish came with pasta and it was not fully cooked. This was an $130 and most of it went in the trash. The service for preparing our food was good and on time but I will never come back here again. read more

Food: the bread was excellent, the gnocchi served with the ribeye tips and gnocchi was very good, but there were hardly any ribeye tips in the dish, the chicken marsala was okay, and the Caesar salad was no good--I was convinced there was no dressing in it, and they use those fake shredded "Parmesan" on it. What a rollercoaster ride! Service: absolutely outstanding. Our sever was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and did came out in a timely manner. Amici Italian Eatery is a true gem. I'm so grateful it exists! We've been here at least a dozen times since my in laws first introduced us, and every single visit has been wonderful. Our go to dishes are the chicken alfredo (packed with delicious chicken!) and the lemon cake (so light and creamy!). The alfredo sauce is rich, smooth, and somehow still perfect the next day. It's the only alfredo I actually enjoy reheated. Whatever magical recipe they use, it doesn't separate overnight! I also can't skip their ultra thin sliced bread with pesto butter. It's incredible! (Be sure to flip the menu over and check out their daily specials too!) Last night was no exception. In fact, it was even better than usual, which is what finally prompted me to write this review. This place puts certain Italian chain restaurants to shame. I'm pretty sure our server was the owner this time, and he was fantastic. He was chatty and so kind to my three year old, patiently waiting for his shy responses. If he really was the owner, I truly admire how hands on he is. He was incredibly attentive: refilling drinks without being asked, accommodating a custom order I didn't even know was possible, answering menu questions, offering fresh Parmesan for our pasta, and even separating our hot and cold leftovers into different bags. Truly above and beyond. That said, every server we've had here has been wonderful. We always leave happy. There's also something special about the little details at Amici: fresh roses on every table, Crayola brand crayons for the kids, the richest vanilla ice cream, super smooth pens for signing receipts. You can tell they don't cut corners on quality. The ambiance is perfect, cozy and clean without feeling pretentious. Even on the busiest nights, it's calm and inviting. I first came to Amici Italian Eatery for my birthday, and now it's one of my favorite restaurants! This place is a true hidden gem. The vibe is cozy and romantic with soft lighting and old school Italian charm. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you like family. They're warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, they make you feel seen and taken care of by always checking in without hovering, offering great recommendations, and treating each customer with care. I do plan on trying everything but i have been obsessed with the pastas. Oh my pasta heaven!Absolutely unforgettable. Ordered pizza and the Alaska salmon. Pizza was good however the Salmon was burnt and dry. It should have never left the kitchen. When the Salmon was served, I sent it back immediately. An almost $70 meal for two people (before tip) and it was very mediocre. The best thing we had was the cheesy bread starter, but both mine and my boyfriend's entrees were disappointing. I got spaghetti with marinara and he got the garlic chicken alfredo. Service was odd. The host hovered awkwardly at first, which kind of put us off. Our server was nice enough but kind of hovered as well. Side note: unless I missed it somewhere, the drink menu didn't have prices on it and it's on me for not asking, but a spiked lemonade cost $11 and it wasn't even well-mixed. It's always pretty busy here. Open seating area set up with the bar to the right of the entrance. Staff were nice and friendly. Food was good. My Ribeye tips was not as expected. I guess you can say presentation says a lot. You couldn't tell the mushrooms from the onions from the ribeye pieces. Flavor was good though. Calamari was light and crisp, my daughter said her chicken Alfredo was cooked perfect, from the pasta to the chicken. Then my husband commented on his cannelloni being flavorful as well. The prime fries are the single greatest appetizer the human race has ever created. Portion sizes are impressive. It took awhile to be seated and after reading the reviews I was excited to try this place. Well let's just say it was mediocre. It's almost the quality of food you would expect from Olive Garden. I guess there are not too many places to eat Italian here so maybe that's why people swore by this place but I have had some great Italian food so that's why I said it's mediocre!! Amici is our fav local Italian spot. Food is always good, so is the service. They have a great happy hour. Out of all our visits we've never had the pizza & wings. This restaurant has been open for 20 years. Our server has been there since the door opened. JOHN gave us very personalized service. Lots of recommendations, humor, advice. He was very attentive to our table. If he saw a facial reaction he would stop by to see what he could do to make our experience most enjoyable. The food was good. I'm not an expert on Italian food. But we all enjoyed everything we had. The prime rib was very moist and tender. Probably some of the best I've ever had. They serve with real horseradish. This is only the Italian restaurant in our area. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs and it was mediocre in taste. It looks like no or little tomato was use. The sauce was like frozen and thawed by microwave. I am just guessing but that was what I felt. The taste was just bland. I finished it because I was hungry and trying to get my money's worth. . My husband, our new born and myself came to the restaurant for dinner since we just recently moved to town. We were pleasantly surprised by how great the food was and how kind everyone we encountered were. The bread plus butter that comes as a side was so delicious! Our entrees were so delicious and so filling. I thought the portion sizes were pretty big and definitely worth the money. We also got calamari, although we for sure devoured it, it did seem over cooked because a lot of pieces seemed rubbery when you chewed them. This restaurant did not disappoint. I had the Scossa Bolognese. The other ladies ordered different pizzas and one had the chicken and apple salad. For the appetizer, we tried the artichoke dip. And one of the pizza gals had a side of fettuccini. For dessert, Lemon cake and a Pizookie. Everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. The wait staff did great! My family and I have been coming to Amici's since I was one year old and they always have quality food, service, and a comforting ambience. My friend and I came in with a big hunger because we had just moved furniture all morning. I've been here before a couple years ago and suggested it. We ordered artichoke dip, ceasar salad, cannelloni, steamer clams, bruschetta, and chicken picatta. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff was new or what but we were both very disappointed. The bruschetta was more just like pizza toppings. Big pieces of tomato, red onion, and olives just tossed in olive oil. The chicken picatta wasn't chicken picatta. There weren't capers, there was artichoke in it, the sauce wasn't lemony, the chicken was in little strips. Almost like it was velveted or boiled like Chinese food. The clams were alright and their ceasar dressing wasn't bad. The sauce for the cannelloni was bland. We were hungry so we still ate the tomatoes and onions with the bread and the clams but not much of anything else. I ended up spending $150 dollars and was really disappointed about that. On the bright side, the waitress was super friendly and did a good job! I made sure to tip her well, I know the food wasn't her fault. read more

Amici Italian Eatery was certainly a nice find for Italian food. Started off with the bruschetta and artichoke dip appetizers served with tasty seasoned pita type chips- would return just for these two items! I ordered the cannelloni with pink sauce which was creamy, cannelloni filled with a flavorful mixture of meat/pork. Bread and compound butter was perfect for sopping up the sauce! Don't miss the happy hour, appetizer list is 1/2 off and so are some glasses of wine. Our waitstaff was courteous and knowledgeable, glasses were kept full and fulfilled our every need.
