My wife and I decided to give Hoos N Drops a try for dinner. Since it was Tuesday they had a $5 special on 16oz local brewery beer from Narrows Brewery, so of course I ordered one. My wife got the Flavored Ice Tea. I ordered the California Turkey sandwich with Fries, and my wife tried the Patty Melt with Potato Salad. The food came within about five minutes and looked great. My sandwich was about 2 inches thick and tasted great. My wife's Patty Melt was also superb and she loved it. Our waitress Miranda was friendly and checked back on us frequently for refills (I had another Narrows beer and my wife more tea). We also joined the Hops N Drops Reward App. We really liked our time here and hope to return soon. read more

Great service. Fast and friendly. It's compact and parking is a bit challenging, but food is delicious and atmosphere family friendly. I noticed that they offer breakfast on weekends... the menu is full of favorites... ie. Eggs Benedict and French toast, just saying. I like this place. Good variety and tasty burgers. I come from Texas and it checks. Not overly pricey either.

Can't complain -- the food has yet to disappoint me or the family :) It's nice having them just down the road, and there's a great variety to choose from. Never tried this place and went for lunch. I was impressed by the menu selection of good food and drinks. Being first timers the basket of chips was an unexpected treat and very tasty. Stopped in for happy hour. Decided to sit outside, even though happy hour is offered throughout the entire restaurant inside seemed a bit noisy and dark. First beer order off the beer QR code was out. A lot of display signs for an Oktoberfest beer was the second choice, but that wasn't in yet. Nonetheless ordered something else with an order of bone and wings and patty melt. Both were really good. Wish there was an option to substitute the bread for sourdough but there wasn't. However the patty melt did not disappoint! Fry sauce and tartar sauce on the sweet side. Would opt for different sauce next time. Ranch & blue cheese good. Nor did the bone in buffalo wings. We keep really wanting to like this place. Believe me, we've tried. But the service has always been like the servers are overwhelmed and trying to clear tables, and forget to run food or check on drink refills. The last time we went there, the French dip was COLD - like the meat that I bit into was cold! We sent it back because on top of that, the bread was soggy....and then the return French dip took 25 minutes! I love the one in Bonney Lake and Lakeland Hills. read more

We dined at Hops N Drops on 04/02/2026 at 7:05 pm. We have been at this restaurant many times for the past 2 years and we always had good food and good service. This was the 1st time I had a bad meal and a bad service. My Chicken Taquitos were cold and soggy. We were unable to get the waitresses attention. We needed refills on beverages and napkins and when she finally came around, we had asked for the waitress to bring these 2 Items and never came back. On July 17th around 6:15pm we stopped by our local Hops n Drops for dinner, and I was so excited for my first time there! We were immediately greeted as the hostess opened the door for us on the way in, and immediately seated. Our server, Jenny, is the absolute best! She asked if it was our first time there, and since it was mine, we were offered their chips with garlic ranch dip on the house, and it was AMAZING! For our drinks we got the bottomless lemonades, mango and huckleberry flavor, mozzarella sticks for the appetizer. We got the smash burger and fish and chips for our entrees. My fish and chips were absolutely amazing. It came with a side of fries and coleslaw. The cod was perfectly flakey and served with multiple sauces, which is perfect for me. The coleslaw was very nice as well. Jenny was always checking up on us, making sure our drinks were topped off or if we needed anything else. We will be stopping by again soon. Good American restaurant. I was seated right away and served food and drink. My toddler didn't seem to take much to the food because she was extremely tired. Mac and Cheese has good intention of having real cheese, but it tasted dry. The Mike's Damn Good Sandwich was pretty good! It was like a fancy version of pickled turkey panini sandwich. French fries are actually seasoned fries. Apparently, my husband didn't like the teriyaki burger. I didn't like the parking lot had limited parking, literally. I like the fact you can scan and pay for your meal from the receipt using credit/debit card. I didn't want to wait for my waiter any longer. read more

Got seated and sat for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from a waiter or waitress. This place was our Applebee's of the PNW. They allegedly have good mac and cheeses, but majority of them have meet, so stuck to a grilled cheese which had a little bit too much aioli for me. I'm a tot fiend, but I don't know if theirs were overcooked or its just the style, but they were a bit too crunchy for me. That being said, the waiter was nice. It had a chill vibe to it. But the drinks? The drinks are why I'd go back. I got a Gummy Bear drink which tasted like a white gummy bear. Part of the kitsch of this place is that they serve the drinks in glasses made of ice, which is kind of cool (no pun intended). I know there was booze in my drink, but it wasn't overpowering, so I could see myself getting knocked out without realizing it. I also got to try a coconut porter. Went to dinner with my daughter. Staff are super friendly. Drinks are not what I expected, The mojito had no flavor, one piece of sad mint. Tasted like soda water with a hint of lime. I also ordered a martini. I have never had a martini with lime before, not what one would expect and I much prefer olives, cocktail onion or a twist of lemon. The martini also come in a rocks glasses not a coupe or martini shell. I did attach the pictures. As stated earlier, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We were quickly greeted by our server, however she was busy and took quite a while for her to make it back and take our orders. We ordered a flat bread as an appetizer, came out after our entrees. I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy, lacking in flavor and the bread definitely was not what you would get with a traditional Pop Boy. My daughter ordered a burger with no cheese and it came out with cheese. The server quickly apologized and corrected the burgers. The entrees did come out quickly. The server took responsibility for the error with the burger and made it right with use. She had half of the cost of the burger removed for our inconvenience and we were not charged for the flat bread since it came out after our meal. They also let us take the burger with cheese home. The server was nice and apologetic. We did not get a two bit check back. The check was dropped off but we were not asked about dessert. We were looking forward to something sweet but decided not to ask about desserts since we already had the check. My daughter and I had a great time at the restaurant even though there were a few mishaps. The food was good, the Po Boy just wasn't to my liking. This Hops n Drops is 5 minutes from our house so we've popped in a couple of times -once with family for dinner and twice for lunch where we like to saddle up to the bar. We like watching sports on the tv while we have a beer or two and eating. The bar area is always clean and nothing ever sticky. I think the bartender, Alicia (spelling?) has helped us every time and she's fantastic. Super helpful with a great sense of humor. She always gets us our food and drinks promptly. At our last stop in on Thursday afternoon during my lunch break we also met the manager and GM who also both have great senses of humor and really appear to appreciate and help their staff. The GM put on gloves and started helping clean an area where glass was broken (don't make Alicia angry -Alicia will smash ). There are plenty of managers who don't pitch in so seeing that was great. All of the staff seem friendly. I like that there are a lot of menu options. I'm a sucker for the soups and salads and am a sandwich person. I got the French dip for the first time Thursday and it wasn't my favorite, but it was piled high with meat, which is saying something. I loved the porter currently on tap. My fiancé is a burger guy and he's had a few on the menu and liked all of them. He's also a Mac & Jack's kind of guy when we're having beer so can confirm that's on tap as well. Overall, 4 stars. Met up with a friend this evening for my first dine-in experience since the beginning of Covid! Our waitress was very attentive and quickly refilled our drinks and was understanding as we were less-than-speedy to make up our minds on what to order. My friend got the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and I got the Rib Tips w/ fries. Food came out relatively quickly (everything is made to order so don't expect lightning fast), and the rib tips were great! We ordered pick up... the food was ok... use to eat here all the time, ( was one of my favorite places to eat) but over the years, it seems like the food just isn't as good as it used to be to be. When calling in an Order they really don't listen to well. I had said I wanted something and it didn't get put in on my order... I feel they should read back the order to make sure they have everything , instead of trying to rush you off the phone. When picking up order the outside does look clean. Amazing sandwich/burger list - especially for a chicken or turkey lover. The recipes are different and all sound delicious. I've had the turkey gobbler sandwich (absolutely mouth watering and I could only eat half!) and Kyle's Damn Good Sandwich with Caesar dressing and Swiss cheese. Both were fantastic. Their fries are nothing special, kind of those cheap deep fried with the non-tasty crap on top that several chain restaurants buy. The only disappointment (since service here, both dine in and take out, is great). Go for the TOTS or the CHIPS instead. Ugh and their tarter sauce is homemade and to die. I love a good tarter sauce as any white 30-something female does. read more
