Crawfish is hot and the seasoning is spicy. Been hard to find a place to purchase crawfish so if in the area give this place a try.

Despite it was a bit expensive, we enjoyed it. The taste was on point and it did make us crave carbs with it. We ordered extra garlic noodles and some cheese bread. We liked all the seafood on there except the crab legs. The crab legs were too salty and you could tell it was previously frozen. Wish we didn't order the combo that came with it. I recommend ordering a combo with what you like and add addition crawfish, shrimp or mussels to it if you're not a fan of crab legs. It probably will be cheaper considering the crab legs were the most expensive part of the combo. Service was good, but they were super busy so we did flag them down a few times. I recommend!

Crawfish Chef has large seating areas and was able to accommodate our party. The servers were nice and checked on us a few times, which was great because we ordered a few more pounds of shrimp and crawfish on top of our tray. Their house sauce was delicious. I tasted both the mild and hot sauce and loved them both. The restaurant is well maintained, including the bathroom. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and will be bringing our families back here.

THEY HAVE FRESH CRAWFISH for only 3/15-17!!!!! The fresh ones which were Air-shipped from Louisiana. The 5Lb crawfish combo is only $59, my friends and I love the Lemon Pepper flavor better than the house special one. Highly recommend anyone who love crawfish to give a try. I think it tastes the SAME as LIVE crawfish which I had in China. Hope they could always have LIVE CRAWFISH It's totally totally totally different from the regular ones they sell in store which are frozen (and CHEAPER!!!)

Listen . Don't cheat on your seafood boil place. Don't get me wrong it's really cute in there. From the booths to the tables really cute. The staff really isn't that interactive (meaning) they won't really come over to your table to see if you need a refill or anything else you may need. But let's get into why y'all really read my posts: Combo 3 ( shrimp & crab) $65.00 Combo 5 ( shrimp , crawfish and crab) $81.00 Yes both come with corn and potatoes ( eggs are extra) if you want the head off your shrimp it's a$6.00 charge . After that $15.50 tax i paid a total of $170.50 ooops forgot to add 2 sodas ( and i bet you're going too be like they got apps ) WROOOOOOONG the proof will be posted below ! Let's get into the food: shrimp& crab a little over cooked . The crawfish was previously frozen. I am talking like we were fighting our food to get the seafood out of the shells. Something I've never had to do. When i mean like fight for your life i mean like it's the 4th quarter you have the ball 4 secs left on the clock. That's what i mean. I know reciepts is worth more than my word so enjoy! ( yes there was 2 of us) Food: 5.5/10 Service: 3/10 Ambiance: 8/10

Ask the Community - Crawfish Chef

Is the crawfish here fresh or frozen?

    Frozen

Do they sell just steamed shrimp by the pound?

I think everything is boiled but they had a by the pound market price dry erase board up on the wall.

We came here for my friend's birthday and the vibe was absolutely immaculate!!!! Exactly the kind of energy you want for a special night out. Let's talk about the service: Brian and Jason are absolute legends. They took such good care of us and honestly made the whole experience 10x better. They're attentive, super friendly, and just know how to make you feel like a VIP. The bar has everything you need. Reanee is the sweetest and will customize to your hearts desire ensuring your whistle is wet Now, the food... wow. The chicken is straight-up fire, but the real game-changer is the Lemon Pepper SAUCE. I've only ever had the dry rub before at other spots, but having it as a wet sauce is a total revelation. It's zesty, peppery, and addictive... I'm never going back to dry rub again. Amazing food, killer service, and a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend!

With the speakeasy theme I can't believe they didn't go with more of a library, big furniture and lots of wood and dark tones vibe.. Classy and jazzy feel. It was so bad that we were tempted to leave. Please please consider redesigning the big space. Now the positive. We ended up stayed and were all glad we did. We all loved the dishes we ordered and the cocktails were fantastic. Service was really good too and super friendly. We enjoyed the food so much that we will be back for sure BUT only to be sat in the speakeasy. When you're paying high prices, the atmosphere is part of the experience. Also... please remove the sign showing where the speakeasy is! It's meant to be inconspicuous!

The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! Our server was super sweet and friendly! She was so easy to talk to, and I really enjoyed chatting with her throughout our meal. I ordered the cavatappi ragu, and the flavor was really good. Unfortunately, it was a little too salty for me, so I could only eat a couple of bites. My husband helped me finish a few more bites, and I ended up taking the rest home. The portion was huge, so I mixed it with some extra pasta and a little water when I reheated it, and it tasted much better! My husband ordered the burger and really enjoyed it. He had no complaints and finished his entire meal! The portions are definitely generous and could easily be enough for two people, especially if you're not big eaters. Overall, the service was a highlight, and we had a nice, relaxed Sunday night dinner.

The truffle fries were excellent. It was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. They had a nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the French dip was disappointing. The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

We were out celebrating my buddy's birthday today, and started out next door for some smokes and drinks. I had a plan for some choices for his bday dinner, and he opted with Ms. Jane's inside BJ's Casino. First off... this place is very elegant with a fine dining experience. Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. I have been seeing this highly rated restaurant for a while and my husband wanted to check it out…read moreon a Sunday, so we made a reservation and they took us right away. We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.
