What a cute little cafe! Beautiful pleasant find in Amherst MA. We enjoyed the croissants, specifically the ham &cheese croissant and the chocolate one. Only wished that they offered to warm them up, maybes they would have if we asked ‍ Espresso a bit more bitter than what I normally prefer, and yes I drink espresso regularly. Good, not my favorite. This was my first time at Amherst Coffee and their latte was so good! It was also more affordable than the coffee shop that I was previously going to in Amherst. I got mine to go but I did love the relaxed atmosphere inside and was tempted to stay.

I felt like such a big girl sitting at the bar having my coffee.

A coffee bar with a bar!! And alcohol. Apparently they have a ton of whiskeys and bourbons. Plus it's right next to an indie movie theater. It's a tad pretentious up in here. Like they don't have lattes, but espresso with milk. The baristas are pleasant but not friendly. Definitely too cool for school. The pastries are from a local bakery but this coffee shop is unable or unwilling to warm them up. I visited on a Wednesday early afternoon and there were lots of people quietly and intently working. My coffee and was yummy and so was my room temperature, chocolate croissant, which, if they were all in on the pretense, they would've called a pan a chocolate.

Coffee shop in the daytime and bar at night. Love the ambience and the town. Will miss it as we move out of the New England area.

One of the rare places in town to close late (~11PM). I visited this place last night, and it had a rather excellent and spacy inner area painted in wood tones with a breezy outdoor sitting area. Decorated with candles, lightbulbs and small plants, the cafe felt super cozy and great for night chats. They also sold neatly packaged coffee beans for homebody baristas, which you can find on the shelves opposite the register. People gathered at the bar section (open from 4pm 'till late night) for alcoholic drinks and others. I ordered iced cold-brewed matcha for $5.88, and I thought it might have included a portion that would directly contribute to their rental fee @@. $6.94 was the exact paid amount after tip (18%) was added. Enough ranting about this incessant price, I am saying the drink was nothing special. It tasted like iced tea with a matcha flavor at best. Maybe I should order chai tea next time and let you guys know then. Just because the chai order from the customer before me loooked sooo goood!! Ah, the barista was the kindest. I spilled a bit at the bar counter and he told me not to worry as he would take care of it! P/s: I brought my salted caramel cookie from Insomnia Cookies with me. Its sweetness was balanced out quite well by the default unsweetened flavor of the matcha. I don't think this subjective review does this cafe justice. They seemingly have a lot to offer, and I walked in near closing time. I may have to revisit next time with more proper beverage choice and food order.

We picked it because it is local. Coffee tasted burnt. Light fixtures have a lot of dust hanging from them. Friendly enough counter help.

Lenox has some really cool spots and Ombra is one of them. Recommended by a local, we stopped here on Valentine's Day after our dinner for a nice glass of wine. The place was crowded but luckily a few people were leaving so we scored some seats at the bar. I ordered a glass of Nebbiolo from Italy which was good. My husband had a beer. The place is so cute and very romantic with dim lights, a great wine selection and their food looked so good. Unfortunately, we were so full that we did not end up ordering anything. Although, the french fries were calling my name. Ombra is a place that I could see us coming to almost every week and not getting tired of it. We met a local who is very nice and told us how Ombra is very popular. I think we will have to come back in the spring/summer to get those french fries :) If you are ever in Lenox definitely make your way to Ombra for a nice glass of wine or try a cocktail. This is the perfect date night spot for sure whether you start or end your evening here, you will be happy! Cheers~

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

While our table was being set up outside, we enjoyed a drink at the bar--the 15-minute wait was absolutely worth it. The outdoor setting was beautiful, with greenery creating a relaxed summer vibe and live music playing under a small tent, adding to the atmosphere. Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible. We couldn't resist finishing with the "Little Mason Jar" dessert, which was indulgent and delicious. Everything--from the service to the food to the ambiance--was exceptional. We visited this winery in early June and did their tasting. They had a tent and seats set up outside. It was a nice set up and I forget who was there, but he was really nice. We tried a variety wine and actually liked a few of them. So we decided to buy a couple bottles, a Merlot and a Summit Rose. It was definitely amazing that their wines were good and nicely priced. Not to mention buying a bottle waives tasting fees. We had a great time and came back home with a couple bottles. Then, we put the bottles away on our wine rack along with 10+ other bottles. Now, we are not connoisseur of wine but we are definitely not new to wines and proper storage. We lived in San Francisco in proximity to the Napa Valley and were part of multiple winery memberships for a year or more. With that in mind, let's continue. Fast forward to early August when we decided to open the Merlot. We instantly knew something was wrong when we uncorked the wine bottle and it was fizzing at the top. We thought maybe that was what was supposed to happen although we had NEVER seen a non-sparkling red do that, so I tried a sip and instantly knew it was bad. But the bottle was perfectly fine and didn't see any cracks. So how could it be? We chalked it up to bad luck and picked out another wine we brought from San Francisco to enjoy the evening. Then, we decided we would try the Summit Rose this past Friday, so when I went to grab the bottle, I noticed a very small pool of wine underneath the mouth of the bottle. Then, I tracked it down to the Summit Rose. As you see in the photo, there's wine oozing out of the foil. And as I opened the foil to examine the cork, I saw that the top of the cork was stained and that there was a trail going from inside the bottle along the cork/bottle to the outside where it could have spilled out of. I decided to put it upside down on white paper to see if it'll spill and indeed, it did. Then, I left it out upright overnight and found some wine on the topside. Looks like some kind of pressure built up from inside for whatever reason and pushed some wine out the top. All in all, I want to reiterate that we had a GREAT experience at the winery. The outside seating (although inside looked cool but due to the current situation it was unavailable), the one staff pouring the wine and the wine themselves were all pretty good. But looks like I hit the bad luck jackpot and ended up getting 2 bad bottles.
