I cannot wait to go back and tell everybody about them that I can, as soon as I hear they're heading up to Mt. Snow.

Ms. Bergman makes world class soft ripening cheese which she kindly permits me to sell in my store. They are all great but my favorite is the Grappino, the most full flavored of the bunch. The wine selection curated by Mr. Frey is thoughtful and holds many delicious surprises from all over the world. They also have a wonderful wine bar named "Remedy." The couple holds theme based dinners based on the cuisine and wine from various viticultural regions. The last one was from the Savoie region of France and there was exquisitely melted Raclette Cheese everywhere. Needlessly to say the 6 or so wines were perfect and though I've been in the wine business for 30 years (7 of which were in France) I was surprised to try wines that I'd never heard of. Jacksonville, Vermont is lucky to have them, I'm lucky to have them 20 minutes away. Reservations strongly recommended!!

They're cheeses are all a must alongside their breakfast sausages and Italian sausage. Full of great flavor and incredibly lean with all the great taste. The rest of the store is stocked with pasta, sauces, breads, local goods, chocolate, ice cream and granola. Everything I've had has been delicious and I can't help but keep going back for some of my favorites. You'll find their name in local markets and farmers markets.

We make two "bloomy rind" cheeses (in the family of a brie or camembert). These are aged for a few weeks. These are very traditional french cheeses. One has a vegetable ash and is called Poetic Pyramid and one is named Peabody's Bloom. We are also delighted to offer sustainably raised young goat meat. Last weekend I had a feeling they would be at a different food expo. I was willing to go buy tickets to enter the expo just to see if they were there. Fortunately my hunch was right. They were there I ran over to them like we were old friends. Even gave me a hug. I knew I had to stock up on the spreads but the only lady I open for 3 months and 3 weeks once open. The 8oz pack is $8 and worth every penny. I settled on 2 -Maple Cheddars. This down come off sweet from the syrup but the flavor is addictive. I have some as a snack at night. I also bought 1 -Great Garlic Parm. The most kick you in the face with flavor. It's really potent and I find works best spread on good warmed Braided semolina Bread. Best thing to serve with your pasta dinner. This is a small family business who love their product and they should it's a great one. There are shipping fees obviously. They go higher in the summer since they need to keep it cold and costs more. I will be a customer for years to come.

(Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, he took the time to describe their cheese selection and the other things going on in the shop. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well! Perched at the top of Florida Mountain, the setting alone is worth the visit, but it's the care and attention behind the experience that truly sets this place apart.
