What a fantastic find. I just happen to be walking around the area and saw a sign that said we are open. I walked in and was highly surprised by the friendly staff, unique, atmosphere, and fantastic water views. Since we are about to drive home, it was nice to see small pour sizes. Fantastic beers in a cool spot overlooking the river. Bartender was excellent, with great knowledge of the beers so he could provide perfect recommendations. The interior is rustic but cool. Some of the comfy chairs are made from barrels, which is cool. Plenty of comfortable seating, including a balcony overlooking the river for great views. This was a fantastic spot to hang out and relax with a beer, and the beer was really good! read more

Go before or after lunch or dinner. Surprisingly solid beer and even more so beer tender. Icing is a really great view of the flower bridge and river or just sit at the bar and chat with folks for that real pub atmosphere. Save us a couple of barstools! read more

I don't think food is available here. The service is one bartender, but the ambiance is what keeps me coming back. Small, cozy and local. Always live music on the weekends. Usually jazz or something. Very hippy place. I mean, VERY. This ain't your local sports bar. There's just something that makes this place feel like home. read more

Came here on a Sunday after some breakfast at Davenport Farm and I was incredibly pleased. The brewery itself is small enough to be missed by a passerby, but it leaves a big impression on those who are seeking it. I only stopped in for a flight of everything they have on tap (5 beers), so my visit was short and sweet. The brewery itself is located in an old building with amazing character. When I walked in I felt the age and history. You truly feel like a blip of time on the grand scale. It's the perfect place to go off the grid for a few. The bartender was so welcoming and his passion for their product showed. He was kind enough to explain each beer we sampled even though there was quite the crowd at the bar. This brewery is excellent! It's a beautiful location, all of the beers were high quality (even in the cases of styles that I generally don't like), and Zack was so nice. Beers are all made with local and seasonal ingredient. I look forward to coming back and trying other styles. read more

Loved this brewery so much! Was hanging out in Shelburne Falls, wishing there was a cool little brewery, and lo and behold Floodwater Breweing appeared like a mirage around the corner! Lovely ambiance and extremely chill. Excellent beer - each type seemed to have a little kick. Sometimes top brands can try to be too palatable, and local breweries can verge on generic. I'm not a huge beer connoisseur but really appreciated the nuanced flavors. Highly recommend this spot! read more

Love that Shelburne Falls has a brewery that is also hosting events including bands and comedy. The inside is small, but it has lots of seating options and gives a great look into the brew room. Staff and owner are both very welcoming and funny. Check it out! read more

Great beer and just beer. If you are looking for the perfect evening hangout in town, this is it. $5 beer all made on site. Porch hangs out over the river and is a great place to cool off on a hot day. There is often local music and once a month comedy night is not to be missed (standing room only if you get there late). You can get a pizza across the street at Pondside Pizza if you need some grub. Just relaxed and friendly the way a local pub should be. read more

Atmosphere is comfortable, nice views of the bridge of flowers. The people working the bar were very welcoming,laid back and fun. This is a very cute nanobrewery on the Deerfield River overlooking the Bridge of Flowers. We came in, they had a saison, porter and blonde ale on tap, $5 pints for all. I appreciated the simple menu and we were immediately offered sample pours of everything without even asking. I liked the saison, which I don't usually love but this one is nice and full bodied, a little hazy and mildly funky (but as it warmed up the funk came out !). Rye porter was also very good, though a little thin bodied, but I'm not complaining as it was sessionable as heck. Place is a little small, but it's cozy. This place is certainly worth a stop if you're in the area, a very lovely addition to this picturesque town. read more

I visited this brewery a few months ago (July 2019) and loved it. Beer was good and they had a good variety of styles on tap when we were there. The owner was working behind the bar and he couldn't have been friendlier or easier to talk to; it was nice learning more about how he started the brewery. There is a lovely porch looking out over the river; it's small but if you have just a couple of people it was nice to stand out there. We're excited to come back next time we're in western Mass! read more
