Absolutely loved this place! There's a cute little bakery / coffee section when you first walk in. Lunch was awesome, the servers were on top of everything. Food came out fast and was very tasty. I definitely can't wait to have dinner here.

Just wow ! What a beautiful restaurant ! Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and well dressed. This is an upscale restaurant with a fancy James Bond theme. Perfect for a date night or intimate dinner. Menu had so many delicious options. They also have happy hour during the week. What a nice experience !

Beautiful, spacious and elegantly decorated restaurant in Bayonne. Service was speedy, friendly and felt like family. We were very well taken care of. The bartenders made us incredibly drinks; I had the Vanessa and my husband had it I'legal. We shared the deluxe Focaccia with arugula, tomatoes & prosciutto. So delicious: freshly made focaccias in their wood fired oven right in front of us. For mains I had the Eggs Purgatorio and my husband had steak & eggs. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. Highly recommend this spot. Would return again in a heartbeat.

Let me preface with I am a Jersey girl living in Miami. Whenever I come back home, I eat my body weight in Taylor ham, bagels and of course everything Italian! I was staying with a girlfriend in Bayonne and she suggested we go to Americano for dinner. Wow! Ambience is giving very much New York City and we loved it! We decided to sit at the bar to order food and cocktails. We ordered the burrata appetizer, margarita pizza, truffle and porcini pizza and if you thought we were done... you were wrong! We ordered a flatbread pizza with prosciutto and arugula. Service was a little slow... But it was a Friday night. I'm not complaining. We ended up meeting people at the bar and having a fun conversation. 10/10

Americano continues to be the best restaurant in Bayonne. The service is excellent and the food is superb. Andy, the manager, is incredibly sweet and helpful. From reception to the waitstaff, everyone is outstanding.

This is an upscale dining establishment that looks like a high end hotel restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The service is classy and attentive. The food is standard Italian fare. The gnocchi tartufo was prepared well but not very memorable. The food took quite a long time to come out. The Evangelista cocktail was low on alcohol. A swanky night in Bayonne if you don't want to take the trip to New York.

The best surprise! The food, service, and ambiance were impeccable. Alvaro was so professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. He ensured we had a great experience. This establishment is definitely a gem. The entire staff were kind and welcoming. The restrooms were very clean. The music selection was upbeat and diverse. We really enjoyed our experience here at Americano . Can't wait to return. Thank you!

Loved this modern speakeasy, so charming spacious, romantic and picturesque with amazing pictures of celebrities in fun poses. Great for a business meeting or a date. I went for lunch and the bartender started us off with espresso martinis at the bar, as they got our table ready. We started with the seafood tower that had shrimp lobster mussels oysters and scallops tasty and plentiful. We ordered the grilled octopus which I loved and also picked at a filet mignon that was cooked to perfection. The service was pretty attentive but they were setting up for dinner so they were a bit occupied. Will be back for more, see you soon

I went here on a Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday and very much enjoyed the evening! There were about 5 or so other groups celebrating birthdays so it was clearly the place to be lol As a party of 11, our server Jacob was very attentive and patient as we asked different questions about the menu (it was everyone's first time visiting). We ordered some apps to share (I was too hungry to snap those pics): calamari, charcuterie, and Caesar salad. I ordered the chicken parm (pictured) which doesn't come with a side, but I did take half home! To drink, I ordered the Goodnight, which was recommended by our server. Overall, I wouldn't come here daily as it is on the pricier side, but would definitely come back! Side note: there is a free parking garage available for restaurant guests, but it was full when we got there. Street parking wasn't too bad though!

Updating my review and changing it to a one. We have been here multiple times and tonight was the final straw. We are always baffled by the prices but come back because we liked the food and even though it was expensive the food was always amazing. And the atmosphere is so classy yet cozy. Now the food is not amazing. It's boxed pasta for $31!!! The menu says homemade pasta. It's completely misleading. I took one bite of it and I'm like "this is from a box." Do not mislead your customers making them think they are paying for fresh pasta. Also if you want a side of pasta it's $14. If you want one piece of bacon it's $13. If you want to be ripped off come here. I used to put up with the prices because of how good the food is. Food is mediocre now and prices more expensive, I have no idea why it changed. Also service was slow and the wait staff kept dropping utensils left and right. I get that things like that happen but this place is "fine dining" and I don't think their wait staff is trained in that at all. They should give them proper training.

The Americano in Bayonne is an absolute gem! Their Italian food is top-notch, with fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a homemade touch that makes every bite unforgettable. The pizzas are especially outstanding--perfectly crisp crust, delicious sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether you're craving a classic pasta dish, a mouthwatering pizza, or a well-crafted cocktail, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Bayonne! They also have a very cute coffee and dessert bar that serves croissants and cinnamon rolls vanilla meringue, cake, Italian cheesecake, red velvet cake, coconut cake, CROSTATA chocolate mousse cake, TARTELLETTE frutti di bosco, biscotti TARTELLETTE lemon meringue flavor, and Sicilian cannolis with pistachio cream & Sicilian cream

Very Chill Vibes…read more The coupe is one of the only places in Staten Island you can go to get real cocktails after hours. They have great mixologist that actually take pride in their work. I got a Sazerac with cognac, I usually get that but this time they didn't have Pierre Ferran for they only had Ansac. I personally don't care for Ansac so I believe it totally changed the taste of the drink. The bartender could tell. I didn't like it and he asked me about four times " Are you sure I change it? It doesn't matter." I'm like if you're gonna ask me that many times then let's change it. So I got a sidecar and that was fire.

SECOND, the food is just as amazing! I was so happy hahah. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a restaurant for more than just their food. We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.
