Peaches and cream IPA
Haley D.

Popped in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There was only one person working but service was still great. We were lucky to grab seats outside and enjoy the warm weather (for November). This place is super dog friendly which was a plus getting to see a lot of dogs. We enjoyed a few beers. The menu is large 45+ craft beers and is sectioned off by beer style (sours, IPAs, lagers, etc...) My favorite I tried was the peaches and cream IPA on draft.

Drinks.cute dog friendly spot!

Loved this local spot! It's dog friendly and people friendly- bartenders were so nice and the craft beer options are seriously impressive! Would absolutely recommend, just note there is no food only drinks! I'd absolutely go back, awesome local spot!!!

Mexican Cake from Westbrook Brewing Co. perfect spicy kick to it. Super hard to find, but Cork City has it!

All I have to say is: RACK RACK city! So many diverse beers on tap, in fact you feel like you are in Manhattan or Brooklyn. SOLID choices and great crowd. If you don't mind spending $11 on a beer and have greater appreciation than Craft beer defined as: Harpoon/Ballast. This is not the bar where $5 bud light cans are $2 on Happy Hour. If you want to experience a real Craft Beer bar, come here! Given the Craft Beer scene is highly disappointing in Jersey City (it seems everyone is searching for $3 Bud Lights on tap). Given Hoboken is 5 minutes away, you really need to see how it's done. I lived in Williamsburg Brooklyn for 3 years and everywhere you turned there was a Craft Beer bar. I am super surprised Downtown Jersey City hasn't fully stepped their game up. If you have an appreciation for beer and don't want that cheapskate crowd who complains about $5 Bud Light being too expensive.

My friends have always talked this bar up since it's their go to bar in the Hoboken area. As a craft beer lover I wished I'd listen to them before as this place as a great selection of both known breweries and some local ones. I was pretty much salivating at the mouth while reading what seemed to be about 50 draft beers or more on the board. The atmosphere here is most definitely different from your usual bar as this place is really community oriented. The regulars here treat this bar as if it's their actually home. Don't be surprised to see some babies, little children and even pets running around at times. There's no kitchen but don't be alarmed since people are allowed to bring in outside food. I like the atmosphere here for some daytime drinking so I will most definitely be coming back to enjoy some delicious craft beers off their rotating draft menu as well as the friendly atmosphere. For all my craft beer lovers- you want to try this place and for all my parents who don't have a babysitter and feel like enjoying some drinks then I recommend giving this bar a try. Side note: This review is based off experiencing this bar on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon!!! But from what my friends tell me, it's pretty much the same on a Sunday afternoon (even during football season).

They frequently change the beer selection, and post the ratings of each beer on the menu!

Ask the Community - Cork City

Does this place have food?

No. They have no kitchen. I have brought amazing deli sandwiches to eat at this bar. No one ever complained. There used to even be a food truck parked outside during the summer.

I love the laid back atmosphere and you will not find good craft beers this cheap anywhere else in Hoboken.

Unfortunately, this establishment has a bartender who seems determined to test that theory every shift she works. Rude, hostile, confrontational, and openly unwelcoming, she creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for anyone who isn't part of her preferred circle. I've watched customers get treated poorly simply because they rubbed her the wrong way. When a bartender's attitude becomes the most memorable part of the experience, that's a problem. I've ignored it before, but after repeated incidents directed at both me and my boyfriend, it's clear this isn't a bad day, it's a pattern. In Hoboken, customers have dozens of bars within walking distance. Hospitality isn't optional; it's survival. Making paying customers feel unwelcome is a bold strategy in a town where people can easily take their money elsewhere. Management should remember who actually keeps the lights on. Customers are hard to replace. Bartenders aren't. If this is the culture you're choosing to tolerate, don't be surprised when people choose to spend their money somewhere they're actually welcomed. Please, Do better.

This time, my friend and I found ourselves in the township of North Bergen which neither of us had been to before. With a tap list heavily-focused on IPAs, it was difficult for my friend to find something she could drink, and IPAs weren't one of my top three choices. Would there be a drinkable brew for us in this part of New Jersey!? Ched'a Ranch Pretzel Pieces 11.2oz Bag ($8.00): Because all we had in our bellies was froyo, we needed something to help absorb the beer. After we secured seating, they were kind and patient enough to offer free samples to my friend who wasn't an IPA drinker. Afterwards, I continuously approached the bar to place an order during our stay. There wasn't any table service, so on each trip I returned our empties. Everything was no-frills straightforward which was fine with us - all was good! PARKING (FREE; N/A this instance) We took the light rail to Tonnelle Ave. Station and walked about 10 minutes along a busy street into a somewhat industrial area. They didn't have an onsite lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of spots along the main drag of 43rd St., the major thoroughfare of Tonnelle Ave., and nearby surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A no-frills somewhat cavernous industrial warehouse where you walked through a door within a drop-down metal garage door, you were immediately staring at the brewing tanks. The bar area was off to the right with several high barrel tables, a handful of stools at the bar, and a chalkboard menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nJg33bmX7AUR7f4gzEhgTQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw up on the wall. There was an uncomfortable hot dankness in the air. Natural lighting only entered once the garage door was opened while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were muted TVs while rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rblApp3OACOCC_PN48XKnQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I was happy to try New Jersey Brewing Co., and I would consider another visit at least to try the rest of their beers. However, their tap list was limited both in quantity and variety. They were very heavy on the IPAs which wasn't my favorite. Unfortunately, there wasn't any onsite food (some snacks) or trucks (BYOF style). And, they appeared to be family and pet-friendly. They had comparable prices and adequate service. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $54.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Since my last visit, I had only ventured there once for a drink, but it had been far from a first choice. I loved that they had live music and a casual vibe, but my past culinary experience had been a letdown. However, I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent excursion. We grabbed seats at the rustic bar and enjoyed friendly service and pints of Kane Head High, my favorite beer. The crisp, refreshing brew went well with my cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. While that might sound like an odd "snack", I selected it because it was one of the few appetizers on the menu that was not fried. The broth seemed to interestingly be made of tomatoes and potentially other vegetables. It was packed with large, spiral noodles, shredded chicken, and fresh spinach. It was an interesting rendition for sure, but it was also very tasty, despite the fact that it was rather greasy. I was also bummed that it did not have more chicken and that it had not been served with any crackers. Oh well! Overall, it at least had left me with a much better impression than my last trip had.
