Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. Did my freshly painted wall and ceiling get a little scuffed up? Yes, but something is always going to get a little banged up during a move, that's just reality. Atlanta Home Movers was so fast to provide a quote and also follow up. Other companies estimated 7-9 hours for my move but these guys hustled the entire time and finished in a fraction of that time. His quote was "Everyone tries to blame us for everything missing". During the move, I bought the men all lunch, tipped each mover, and gave one a leather sofa. Then I discovered that night they had stolen those items. We were violated. I'm writing this so others don't go through what we did. I'm not able to hand down my ring to my daughter now. A police report has been filed and an investigation is under way. We did use this company many years ago when it was just starting out with a small family. We were happy to support a new small business back then. It is no longer this way and there is definitely major issues.

They worked quick and were well worth their price. We again needed to move in 2025 and they loaded our 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2600 sqft house into a 27' uPack trailer. Again, professional and efficient. Did a quick walk through, I pointed out fragile and large items. They wrapped everything I asked them to wrap and more with blankets / stretch wrap. They got the truck loaded like a Tetris game in 5 hours. The guys are polite, introduce themselves, shake your hand, and give the kids high fives on they way out. They had a new guy on the crew, probably 1st job, and the owner Arturo and the experienced guy gave him tips and seemed to be a great leader / teacher for the job. A+, 100% recommend!

It was a difficult move due to having to give away so much furniture and downsize due to medical issues. My clergy paid for the move. The movers broke an inordinate mount of furniture, electronics and wall decor. Even a glass top to my buffet that appeared well packed was badly broken. (Pictures) The list of the large items that were broken is to follow: - My Vizio 44" tv's screen had a large spider break and had to be thrown away. I was offered $12.72 from the moving company's insurance company for the TV. - A solid wood side table in excellent condition that was my late Mom's leg was snapped broken in the middle. It hurt emotionally to lose that beautiful, meaningful piece. - A solid TV table leg was broken in half at the same level as my wood side table's leg. I can't imagine how that could happen. , a piece of glass 19"x32" that topped my wood buffet furniture broke, (Picture) - Movers broke a large wall mirror. Both mirror and ornate gold frame broke. (Picture) - The front of my small safe is beat up and won't open. It was in perfect condition before the move. I found it upside down at an angle in the kitchen pantry. The thick, hard metal keyboard and the metal on the edges above and below the keyboard on the same side has nicks and scratches. (See pictures) My COVID vaccination card is in the safe and it's required for a new job screening so I have to pay a locksmith with money I don't have to open it in the next 10 days. Prescriptions, valuables and important documents are also in the safe. Again I can't imagine what could have nicked and scratched that metal. I called the owner and he said he only knew about the tv. He offered nothing not even voicing that he regretted all of the damage. He said to Google the safe to find how to open it but I knew that. Even though it was a very small job there was no excuse for that much damage.

Then they try to tell me a flight of stairs was seven stairs. They then tried to charge me per stair. Next they said they couldn't take my credit card payment but still loaded my items on the truck. I called them for five days straight trying to get them to take a payment and no one would call me back! Finally when I got a hold of someone they refused to take my credit card and help my items hostage. Do not use this company, they are rude, and helpful, and honestly a scam!
