Even worse over the phone they said they would break down and rebuild all my items that needed it(even though I said I'd do it for some money off... she said it was included in the price so even if I did it, it would still cost the same.. ok I let them do it) now when we're inside the room, they tell me they never rebuild things due to liability purposes. Whatever, I've never heard that but ok. I went to build my babies crib... and I find out WHY they couldn't "rebuild it" they pulled 80% of the screws out with force, instead of using the right tool. Imagine trying to put it back together? Impossible. They ruined a $1000 crib. I call them to have them come and fix it, as it was in the same place they left it, lady (I think it's Laurie?) I spoke with said she'd call me back. Never did, I texted her.. no response. Such a shameful way of business. Other reviews must be fake or close friends of theirs. We paid about $600 for the service & we were very pleased with the price because movers are usually more than that. The items were placed in their correct areas and everything came in their condition it was before the move (so far, that I've seen). The movers were very friendly and had great communication. My husband did help with some items because he's particular about things but he didn't mind. I'd also like to note for everyone to remember that movers are still people and not machines. They deserve respect and care as well. I asked them if they wanted food (primarily my husband) and he offered to them as well and they took a break (off the clock) and then they were done shortly after that. However, the trust I placed in him was misplaced. Despite moving just three blocks, from 8th and Juniper to 5th and Juniper, the experience was a nightmare. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. I was told by Matt (one of the movers assigned to my move) that customers tell him all the time they will write a review but never come through. This may be why the lacking number of reviews. I was almost one of them but I HAD to write this review because I could be helping YOU (reading this review now) who like me, when I was in the searching phase, was unsure whether I should book with them or not. What made me choose the Home Team Moving and Delivery: the first couple of movers I wanted to initially go with both were based solely on price but they had no website, no reviews, and I just did not have a good feeling about either one especially when the first of the two did not follow through with confirmation. When I went back to the drawing board to decide who would help me with my move I was caught between Home Team and another company. The other company had comparable rates to Home Team but they expected me to provide a truck, and if I didn't, their rate nearly doubled. O_o Even though there were only three reviews I based my decision off of, the reviews seemed genuine and they were detailed enough that I believed they were by real customers, no fake accounts to boost reviews. Matt and Rory were both assigned to my move from Marietta, GA to Lithonia, GA. I was quoted a four hour move and my move was exactly four hours. Before even meeting them, I got a call the day before confirming the move and they also went over the items to be moved to ensure they provide the appropriate-sized truck. They arrived EARLY which started the move off on the right foot and it stayed that way throughout the entire move. Both movers were congenial, friendly and sociable while at the same time extremely time-cautious and efficient. I was 65-75% packed, no boxes sealed close yet (for any last-minute adds) and Matt came in saying "No problem. That's what we're here for." Recommendation for those who are planning to move: plan to start packing a week or so in advance, a couple boxes at a time. When it came time to move I wasn't stressed out at all because I had tackled a brunt of the packing. I knew where a majority of my items were. The last-minute items I had to pack, I was able to rely on my short-term memory to remember what was packed where which helped during the unpacking process. Matt and Rory took care of the rest from dismantling my king-sized bed, packing up the remainder items I had not yet packed, and emptying my entire closet with CLOTHES STILL ON THE HANGERS. I was completely stressed about this because I thought either I would have to be responsible for removing my clothes or that the movers would have required it to be off the hangers and folded. NOPE, they literally emptied my closet and unpacked it in my new location within a blink of the eye. I kept calling them magicians because they moved so fast! They also moved my ENTIRE CHEST with filled drawers. I didn't have to empty the drawers for them to be able to pack it up and move it. Side note: I must say I was concerned about my king-sized bed because I remember when it was delivered by the furniture company how much effort was taken into putting all the pieces together. But Matt and Rory handled it like the pros they are! I loved that they only charged a standard hourly rate: no hidden charges, no trip fees, no additional hour charge just because and no per mileage charge. Included within the standard hourly rate was an additional stop at Best Buy to pick up a TV while en route to Lithonia. There was another moving company that quoted me what would have been an additional charge for the Best Buy stop. Another thing I loved about them, was that they took pleasure in moving. I remember Matt responding to me apologizing for (what I thought was) ordering them around so much and he pleasantly stated "That's what we're here for." They handled my items with care, NO DAMAGE whatsoever. Even with a couple of "how can this be accomplished" circumstances i.e. being able to fit my king sized mattress up the stairs with a low-bearing ceiling, my king-sized bed frame up the stairs or my new TV atop my chest, they figured out a solution to every issue that arose. I completely trusted them and they made what can be stressful very pleasant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, so much so I called Matt back to return for a second time to help me haul a TV upstairs after having to return the previous one I had. He was more than willing to accept with the same enthusiasm as the day of my initial move. Thank y'all for making my move a breeze. Did a quick walk through, I pointed out fragile and large items. They wrapped everything I asked them to wrap and more with blankets / stretch wrap. They got the truck loaded like a Tetris game in 5 hours. The guys are polite, introduce themselves, shake your hand, and give the kids high fives on they way out. They had a new guy on the crew, probably 1st job, and the owner Arturo and the experienced guy gave him tips and seemed to be a great leader / teacher for the job. A+, 100% recommend!
