I paid for insurance just in case things were broken and when I reached out to the company asking how to get reimbursed for the items that were broken, floors that were scratched, and walls that were damaged I was met with silence. No response. I had three trucks and nine guys, and half the guys looked they were in high-school and one of their trucks broke down in my driveway. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Do no use them.

I am filing this complaint against Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding the loss of my personal…read moreproperty, poor service, property damage, and the company's failure to adequately resolve the issue. In September 2025, I hired Pack It Up Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Calhoun, Georgia. To help reduce costs and make the move more efficient, I personally packed many of my items in advance. Every box was clearly labeled on the outside according to its contents. When the movers loaded my belongings, the truck was completely full. In fact, some items could not fit on the truck, and the rear doors barely closed due to the amount of property being transported. The company then stored my belongings for approximately two months while I searched for a home to purchase. After purchasing a home in November 2025, I scheduled delivery of my belongings. The first scheduled delivery date was November 24, 2025. The company failed to show up and had to reschedule. Delivery was eventually rescheduled for November 26, 2025. When the movers arrived, I immediately noticed that the truck was not nearly as full as it had been when my belongings were originally loaded. As unloading began, I noticed that my e-bike was missing. When I questioned the movers, they claimed that I never had an e-bike. I then contacted the company's office, where I was told that my e-bike had been left near the loading ramp. This directly contradicted what the delivery crew had told me. I asked the movers for an inventory list so that I could verify that all of my boxes had been delivered. I was told that they did not have a list. As unloading continued, I began noticing additional missing items. I waited until all items had been removed from the truck before conducting a thorough review. The company also delivered a mattress that did not belong to me. I instructed the movers to take it back with them. In addition, my refrigerator was damaged during the move, and damage was caused to a wall in my home. I was forced to pay for repairs to both. After unpacking, I discovered numerous missing items, including but not limited to: Plastic Sealer Two Heat Press Machines Cricut Machine Reindeer Head Decoration Ring Doorbell Bissell Vacuum Drone Two Sets of Bar Tools Blink Indoor Camera Laser Measuring Device Exercise Bike Two Power Tools I estimate that at least ten boxes remain missing. The items listed above represent only some of the higher-value property that was never returned. I repeatedly contacted Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding my missing belongings. Approximately six months later, the company located my exercise bike and two TV mounts. However, the majority of my missing property has never been recovered. The owner has offered only $400 in compensation despite the fact that the missing property is valued at well over $3,000. This estimate does not even include every missing item, as I intentionally focused on the higher-value property to simplify the claim. I am extremely dissatisfied with the company's handling of this matter. My belongings were supposedly stored together in a secured vault, yet numerous items disappeared and only a small portion was recovered six months later. The company has shown little concern for the significant financial loss and inconvenience I have experienced. I have been forced to spend my own money replacing items that should never have gone missing. I am requesting that Pack It Up Moving & Storage provide fair compensation for the missing property and fully address the losses and damages caused during this move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to consumers who value the safety and security of their belongings.

Nothing felt rushed or careless, even though they worked so efficiently. But honestly, what impressed us the most had nothing to do with the moving itself, it was the kind of people they are. Antonio, Joshua, and Erick were genuinely some of the nicest, most trustworthy people we've ever had the pleasure of working with. They talked to us about their families, invited us to their church, told us all about their French bulldogs (including the adorable star on their logo!), and just made us feel like we had known them forever. But, be aware, they have insurance to cover damage they cause inside the home BUT NO INSURANCE to cover damage to your furniture and belongings that occurs during the transit from one house to the other.. I received compensation for the damages that occurred inside my home BUT nothing for the furniture damaged during transit..
