Had a great moving experience with Perfectionist Moving. The movers were professional, on time, and worked quick. The prices were also very reasonable for two movers and a very large truck (26 ft. U-Haul). And you can get a $15 discount if you write a Yelp review before the movers leave. They also accept debit, credit and of course cash. I only had to move a one bedroom apartment to a location maybe two miles away. Most of my items were boxed or disassembled prior to their arrival. The movers made sure that my furniture (couches & tables) were wrapped up and secured. They worked very quick and the move only took about 2 hours; there is a 3 hour minimum. All of my furniture made it without a scratch or a ding. The movers were very friendly. And the prices are very reasonable. Super happy with the move!!! read more

After getting quotes from several companies for my local move, I went with perfectionist movers. I was nervous because so many people have shared horror stories of their moving companies, but they remained in communication with me leading up to and the morning of my moving day. They did have a delay in getting to my house but they didn't leave me in the dark- they let me know what was going on and when to expect them. I requested a lot of help and had a team of 5 men show up to do all the moving and lifting. They did a great job of getting everything out of the house and loaded up, as well as unloaded at my new home. They treated myself and my three daughters with the utmost respect and were a great crew to work with. Their pricing was very fair and there wasn't any "bait and switch" or hidden fees. One of the guys even shared his appreciation of original artwork with my 9 year old daughter- so much so that he offered to purchase one of her paintings from her! We booked ahead for a 60 mile move. Assured an early start due to the length of the move. Day of the move the call came that the movers would not be arriving in the morning but in the late afternoon due to the big move they had the day before! They were all tired and they didn't have a fresh crew. We knew it was an 8 -9 hour move so after consideration of the unprofessional and perhaps dangerous conditions ahead fired them. We found a reliable moving company and rescheduled the painters, carpet cleaners and house cleaners. Three businesses were affected by Perfectionist Movers planning. Everyone has a bad day. I get that. However, consider it if it was your moving day. We had done our research and chose this company. Our realtor just told me they spread the news to all at their large company meeting. Moving company's affect many lives. The professional thing to do would have been to notify us the day prior they had staffing problems. We had all furniture broken down including the beds. Sleep on that before you decide who to trust. We were never offered a discount and were offered an extra guy to unload once we reached Big Canoe. YELPERS !!! If your looking for professional movers than you've found them. Today was moving day and I actually had another moving company booked and they did a NO CALL NO SHOW !!! So I had to make a decision to find another company ...... I was so frustrated and frantic looking for someone to show up same day. I called Perfectionist Movers and they came to the rescue ..... they booked me the SAME DAY and were right out too me in couple of hours. They arrive did a walk thru and got to work .... This moving company was a life saver and miracle workers. After being called back from another mover that they made a mistake in the time frame for my move date and that they would be overbooked, I was caught in a bind. Who could I call to help me move in two days? Well, I let my fingers do the walking in Yelp. Looking at the reviews in Yelp, I called the company and spoke with Carlton. He was so pleasant to talk to during the call and placed my mind at ease when he informed that they could do the move in the next two days and at a much reasonable price. A day before the move date, Carlton called me for confirmation which I appreciated. On D-day, I was getting a little worried as Carlton called at 8:24 am to report that the crew was enroute and should be at my location in Sandy Springs in 30 min according to GPS, but did not arrive until 9:30 am. I knew this wasn't going to happen due to the Sandy Springs traffic. However, they made up for this big time. Chino, Elijah, and TJ worked a miracle and pulled off the unimaginable in my eyes. In 5.25 hrs they moved my 2 bedroom apartment with furniture and a plethora of boxes upstairs (and I mean ALOT of boxes). They never slowed down. And it was much appreciated that they also paid careful attention to not scuff/ding the walls of the apartment and wrapped all furniture as well as handled each item with care. Each of the crew members were Rockstars to me. They were also so nice to talk to while not slowing down. Being that this was my first time using a moving company, I will have to say that the overall experience was very good. I found this company on Yelp and they seemed to have the best rates along with high reviews. I requested a quote via yelp and they got back to me within an hour. He was very polite and paid attention to all details with I was setting up the move. It snowed the day before and they were still good to go. The three young men were great. 3/18: This company never made good on their promise to repair my furniture. They also never provided the damage refund in their contract. They claimed to have been shutdown and stopped answering the phone! Just a bunch of liars with terrible karma coming their way. Chino, the owner, misled us to believe he was not the person responsible for the business but his business registration shows differently. He tried to scam me into removing this review for $700 in Monopoly money and I'm glad I refused. No one deserves to go through this. I'd never trust these jokers in or near my home again. FYI 7/28 Unfortunate update to my 5 star review directly below: This company offers a 15% discount if you post your Yelp review before they leave your home, which is what I did yesterday. Less than 5 minutes after their departure, I walked into my second bedroom and noticed my vintage wood dresser's finish had been completely ruined from whatever wrapping method that was used (we can see the lines from the packing blanket on the surface of the wood - we think the blanket used may have been holding moisture based on the effects). When my husband called to inform Chino/Carlton (also sent pics) of this, he was surprised and acknowledged that it hadn't been in that condition when he wrapped the dresser himself. The sad part is the person who unwrapped it didn't even say anything - just walked away. Anyway, Chino assured my husband he'd get in touch with management and they'd reach out to us, as it seems the recourse would be that the dresser would be refinished at their expense. It's been well over 24 hours and not only have we not heard from management but it must also be Chino's day off because he's not answering his phone or returning messages either. Hopefully, this is a misunderstanding, but so far I'm not comfortable leaving such a sparkling review for a service when I'm having to chase them down for customer service. If my case is handled professionally hereafter, I'm happy to reinstate my initial review. 7/27: Chino and team were efficient and took the anxiety out of our move. The three guys worked as a team, with a great attitude, until after midnight to make sure we were settled into our new home. I recently moved to Cali but when I was in Atlanta I moved about every other year and without the right movers it can be a pain in the a$$! I was referred to perfectionist moving company by a friend who told me that these guys actually take care of your furniture, wrap it, make sure they don't scratch or ding walls, no muddy or black shoe tracks on the carpet, etc., plus they're reasonably priced so I jumped on it. Called and spoke to a gentleman named Jordan and he scheduled me for my move, so easy! The day of the move I received a call from Jordan telling me they were in route and should be arriving shortly. Great, gives me time to piece together my last little boxes and shower quickly. When they arrived I showed them everything that needed to be packed and from there on they were on it. Not slow like other moving companies that try to add additional time because they just can't perform. These guys don't stop they just keep moving and not only that but nothing was damaged and I didn't have to worry about painting a wall or cleaning carpet when they were done. When they got to my new residence it was an easy unload. They offered to put my beds, etc together but I declined, I have a hubby for that. Overall, I would consider this the best move I've had in Atlanta. Also, these guys are super nice I never felt like they were talking smack or complaining (I've experienced that from other moving companies). Another thing is if you need boxes they bring some with them. I had a couple of flat screens that I was super scared to move but they assured me nothing would happen and it didn't. I did let them hang those up for me at the new spot since Comcast was already there waiting for me too. It was a long day but made easy by these guys. Thanks again!! If I ever move back I'll give you guys a call. Oh and by the way, I wasn't living in an apartment. The gentlemen who came out arrived close to the time promised. They were very kind and friendly and came ready to work. My need was to move one level of furniture and multiple boxes into a storage unit. Their names were Brian, TC and Erick who were very careful and accepted my storage requests - all in stride. Used their movers to carry (and lift up 3 feet) a 320 lb bathroom vanity inside one of our basement bathrooms. They were nice and professional on the phone. The 4-start review is mostly for Perfectionist Moving accommodating my very last minute, high stress change; for the team's high level of integrity; and for the team's accommodating my aunt with her moving needs at the very same time. The day before the team was scheduled to arrive they were scheduled for moving labor only. However, the day before a Mayflower moving container that was suppose to get dropped off in my driveway did not happen all at the fault of Mayflower. I immediately called Perfectionist Moving to discuss options and they were able to shift things around to make my move happen the next day. During the move-out, one of the movers found a chunk of change while packing up some stuff and he promptly brought it to me. I was very impressed by this mover's integrity. Lastly, on the way to the storage unit, they dropped off some family furniture to my aunt's home, which I truly appreciated. I also liked how they interacted both with myself and my aunt. I ding the team by 1-star because some of my furniture got damaged. Specifically a vintage record player and a file cabinet. The team did call-out their error on the record player and reimbursed me so I could get it fixed. read more

I scheduled my move with Perfectionist Moving after finding them on yelp and I had the best moving experience ever (I move every 1.5 years so that's saying a lot). From the first time I called, to the day before my move, I spoke to the same gentleman (Carlton, I believe) and he was always so pleasant. On moving day, the movers were running a little late and they called me every step of the way to keep me informed which was greatly appreciated. Brian and TC were amazing! I see there are good comments about this company Perfectionist Moving Co. After I spoke with Carlton on the phone about the moving process, I was asking some questions. And I told him that I want to use them to move my furniture to NC. I asked him to send me some information about the move and insurance they provided. I thought he was going to do it right after we got off the phone, he did not do it. So, I called back to speak with him and left messages, he never call me back. Today, I called again and thought Carlton would pick up the phone, the answering machine was on again. I think he was avoiding me and did not want my service. My moving experience with this company was awful. I've moved 8 times in the past 8 years and this was THE WORST experience I've ever had. They didn't have a large enough truck to move my things, nor did they have enough moving pads to protect my furniture. I had to move the rest of my items to my new house from 35 miles away by myself.
