Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. After that experience, I question both the company's substantive knowledge and their ethics. First, they used some pressuring tactics to try to get me to sign on for their services right away. They urged me to make a homeowners insurance claim right away, saying that the work would surely be more than my $5k deductible. I asked what if we just took some remediation efforts without a claim, and they said just having a dehumidifier and fan in here for several days would already run $3k so I might as well file the claim. They otherwise would not offer an actual estimate for anything. The next day when they reached out to follow up, I said I didn't think it was worth it to file a claim and be out $5k. They then miraculously said they could do remediation for $2-$3k without a claim. I also had them look at another area of the house where we had some mystery water but was now visibly dry. I thought it came from outside rain. The technician said we had a leak and needed a plumber. I got a plumber in later who removed dry wall to look for the leak. There wasn't one. The plumber seemed really trustworthy and replaced a part just in case and was not $$$. But seemed to badly reflect on Robinson.
