They did a really good job of finding the right paint to match the color and painting the ceiling and parts of attic.

I hired Danylo from AMD construct to prepare the space under my stairs for a custom cabinet installation, and he did an excellent job. He worked closely with the Dmitrii from USA moscato to fully understand the project requirements and ensure the space was prepared exactly according to the cabinet design. This coordination helped make the installation process smooth and seamless. He removed the existing drywall, carefully prepared the area, installed new flooring, and finished the drywall along the sides with great attention to detail. The space was properly leveled and finished, providing a solid and clean foundation for the cabinets. He was professional, reliable, and communicated clearly throughout the process. He was respectful of my home and ensured everything was done correctly. The quality of his work and his willingness to coordinate with the Dmitrii made a big difference in the final result. I would highly recommend him for drywall, flooring, and general remodeling or preparation work. read more

Danylo, Ruslan, and their crew brought our design to life, delivering a truly dramatic transformation of our master bathroom. After months of searching for a contractor and getting nowhere, we finally hired AMD Construct--and it was the right decision. From the start, communication was prompt and professional. Throughout the project, we appreciated their attention to detail and the quality of their workmanship. They were also incredibly patient and flexible when we encountered unexpected behind-the-wall issues after demolition, and they accommodated several tweaks to our original design without hesitation. They were respectful of our home throughout the process, consistently keeping the work area and surrounding spaces clean and organized. We're very pleased with the final result. Highly recommended--and we'll absolutely hire them again for our next project. read more

Very unprofessional company. They sent a project manager out to look at the work to be done. The project manager promised to provide a quote after the weekend. By Wednesday, no response. I contacted the office. The office manager said they would respond by the end of the day. Still no response by Friday. If they are not able to perform the work, then have the courtesy to inform the client. Amending the review after the owner's reply: The issue is about trust. Apparently people at this company have the habit of promising whatever sounds good at the moment with no intention of following through. I would not trust such a company enough to do business with them. read more

Just finished a bathroom remodel and garage repair with AMD Construct. My bathroom flooded and it leaked into the garage. We had to repair the garage but wanted to remodel the bathroom. Insurance provided us an estimate for the repairs, and AMD's estimate to repair the garage was spot on with what insurance said. Then we just had to pay out of pocket for the bathroom remodel, which was cheaper than a different company we were looking at. I originally reached out back in May but then held off on making a decision due to some outside factors. I reached back out to them again on July 13th, and they were able to get someone out by July 20th, and they completed by July 28th, very fast! Service was great. Alex was very friendly and kind. We had a little bit of a language barrier but he used Google Translate, or asked the receptionist of their company to call/email me to ask any clarifying questions. In the end it wasn't a problem. Alex even took off his shoes before entering my house, without me even asking him to. He cleaned up any messes that were made in the garage and they picked up any trash from all the work as well. They were flexible with payment. I just paid through Zelle, and even though I had a $2000 daily limit, they were okay with me spreading out the payments over several days. I would absolutely come back and contact AMD again if I need any other projects done. Top notch company, quality, and professionalism. read more

Communication skills both management and handyman need upgrading Handyman work good Very business like. We are satisfied but they do not hold your hand Prices seem reasonable for kitchen sink replacement read more

I've contacted many many contractors and these people are the worst when it comes to communication and fees. I had them install my kitchen counter top along with sink, garbage disposable and dishwasher The installers were all good people - the 1 star review is for whoever the hell their management is. They make false promises and point blank tell me that something will get that on a specific day and then no one shows up and no contact for days. On the day of payment they send me a receipt 10 minutes before and tell me oh btw these fees need to be added on. It wouldn't be a problem if they told me before hand but what kind of business does it after they buy supplies and materials without asking me first and then suddenly tell me by just adding on fees. Trust me when I say go somewhere else. You'll waste your money here. read more

Hired AMD for remodeling my bathrooms and kitchen and they did a tremendous job. Sergey was the project manager and I would definitely hire them just for him, he went out of his way to keep me happy. The quality of the work was top notch and they did finish everything (mostly) in a months time. They were also timely and stuck to the schedule mostly. There were also couple of improvements they should make in some areas, like having some of their subcontractors to not touch owners personal items, not damaging items, clear communication on costs for additional works (this was something which I was not a big fan of), good idea on plumbing and parts recommendations. Even with some drawbacks, I would still go hire them back for their quality of work, punctuality, responsiveness, price and their project manager (Sergey) read more

We worked with AMD to remodel two bathrooms in our home and to change out our front door and a few bedroom doors. From start to finish, they were a dream to work with. Communication was so easy, which is so important in these kinds of projects. The two point-people we were in constant communication with for the projects were Sergey and Miguel. Both are extremely kind, considerate, and professional, and you can see that they are skilled at what they do. It can be overwhelming to start any construction project, which we definitely felt at the beginning. But these guys were very helpful even in the process of shopping and acquiring materials, and giving input which helped our decision making when choosing materials. From planning to demolition, from the first installation to touching up the smallest paint imperfection, both Sergey and Miguel were amazing and got the job done right. We are incredibly happy with the results of our project, and could not recommend them more, and would 100% invite them for any future projects. Thank you AMD for a job done well beyond our expectations! read more

Sergi & the team did a great job on my project. I did a bathroom renovation and they completed it in about 13 days. The price was exceptional and Sergi was very easy to reach if I had any questions. I hired AMD handyman to remodel my Mom's bathroom. They gave some ideas on the design and most materials are picked personally. Ivo (his son comes to help occasionally) did a wonderful job. He was very detailed and patient as we had to change the design a couple times. He helped with pick up of the countertop, tiles, and vanity sinks. He was friendly. My mom is very happy with the remodel. We are happy with AMD handyman services and have used them on several occasions. Victoria is very attentive and I have good communication with her. As much as I like saving money by doing home repairs myself, often it feels like a second full-time job and I just don't have the time. AMD Handyman to the rescue! I needed a few things done including repairing a drywall joint, painting a closet, caulking a counter, and replacing a rotted part of a door frame on a shed. AMD was quick to respond to my Yelp messages and their rate was reasonable, so I decided to hire them for the job. The day of, my assigned handyman spent the first hour at Home Depot getting the materials that I had neglected to purchase. Had I done that myself, this would've saved billable time and I would've had the luxury of choice. But he found decent materials, including a piece of wood whose texture matched the rest of the door frame. I was pleased with how the work turned out. The replacement wood was slightly too thick, so the handyman had to cut part of the shed to make it fit. After painting, it matched so well that that part of the shed looks totally original! One thing that could've been better is that the handyman caulked the edge of the wood, but there was a small gap where he had cut that was missed. Part of the caulk also eventually cracked. I mentioned this in my original 4-star review, and AMD reached out and arranged for the handyman to come back to redo the caulk at no additional charge. Plus one star for the stellar service. Note: AMD charges a fee for paying by credit card, and no fee if paying by Venmo or PayPal. They were quick to send me an invoice when requested. Overall, the quality of the work was reasonable given the constraints. I wouldn't mind hiring them again for the next repair job that I don't feel like tackling myself! read more

we had a special blind order that needed to be installed in one of our properties. We had reached out to several contractors, but none of them were able to take on the job. The tenants were extremely happy with the outcome, and we were relieved to have found a solution. Their commitment to customer service is unparalleled, and they always go above and beyond to ensure that we are satisfied with their work. I needed some help patching drywalls. AMD handyman replied quickly on yelp and asked for some photos. After sending photos, we moved forward smoothly to book appointments and had them to come onsite. Eugune came over on time and quickly started to work on the problems. He did a really good job patching the drywalls. He not only cleaned up after himself afterwards, but also cleaned our original mess around the patched drywalls. I also asked for a few other things like appliances and garage door, which he can't fix, but he gave me suggestions who to talk to or what to get to fix them. We got a few different things done through AMD Handyman. The overall process was very good. We first had someone come over to look at the work we wanted to do, then someone reached out with a detailed itemized estimate and overall co-ordination. The tech who came to do the actual work was excellent. He finished a bunch of different things from fixing curtain rods to installing a new door very efficiently, with good craftsmanship and excellent neatness - we didn't even feel he was in the house because the cleanup he did after his work. Unfortunately first time when I post negative review back in Feb 2021 after their estimator came in and never got back to me w proper estimate, they contacted me and asked to remove negative review, also told me they will provide "correct" estimate. After a while and back and forward emails I received VERY expensive estimate!! of $2100 for only one bathroom remodeling! (I asked them to provide estimate for two bathrooms and kitchen!!! with exact instructions what I want to do) and even than estimate was not completed per my request. So I went with another person/handyman and did two bathrooms and a kitchen remodeling for a fraction of the cost of this company estimate, totaling $2300 for both bathrooms and a kitchen. The rate this company provides around $80-$100 per hour for a HANDYMAN work!!! and seems as instead having they own staff they just subcontract other people. read more

Update on review. They refunded the $178. They seem to be taking customer satisfaction seriously. Upgrading from 1 star to 3 stars. I have to still go back to Home Depot and return the door and stuff so its not fun. Original review begins here I was looking for a handyman for work around the house. Needed door on bathroom to be fixed and safe to be installed in the walls and sprinkler electrical system to be fixed. The manager came around and was very professional and told us he would get back with a quote. We received quote via email and scheduled the appointment. The handyman was scheduled to come in the morning but later changed to afternoon last minute. The handyman spent an hour on the door and did not get anything. He installed the safe but it was extremely shoddy and wobbly. We decided to go to Home Depot to get a door and materials since he could not fix door and I agreed to pay for the time. He took his measurements and we went to Home Depot and he picked out the door and wood material needed. We came back and then he said it is not the right size and he cannot cut the door. Then I said I would return the door and asked him to do the sprinkler work. He tried to do something and recommended that we change the entire sprinkler system. All in all - nothing to show and I ended up paying $178. Very shoddy work but a good person. I am not looking to hire good people and pay them to walk around my house, I could invite my friends for that. Definitely not worth recommending. read more

My family and I had a great experience with AMD Construct team. We contacted their team and many others for a bid on our bathroom remodeling work. AMD team's estimate was better than others and within our budget. AMD Construct helped with the design, selection of materials, and with the city permit process. Their designer was flexible in accommodating our design modification requests. AMD team was transparent about their pricing and provided multiple options during the course of the project. They did a stellar job on the remodeling project and the final result turned out to be better than we expected. The final cost of the project was close to the estimate that they had given in the beginning, so that was also a plus. Would be happy to get help from AMD Construct on another project in the future. read more

We really enjoyed working with AMD Construct on our house. The work on the bathrooms was excellent! From the beginning, communication and quoting was clear with Sergey. They offered us a good price and we picked them based on their efficient and clear communication and examples of prior work. They were able to start relatively promptly with the main gate of gathering the majority of the materials together. Miguel and his team especially were awesome to work with and had great attention to detail. I enjoyed that Miguel would give very good input for material selection issues, positioning, or other final aesthetic details that I personally don't have the patience or eye for. Even with minor corrections that needed to be touched up after, they made everything right and good. I would definitely bring them back for any future jobs I have. We also did other smaller jobs with them such as replacing exterior and interior doors and found that the work was finished well and any issues identified were promptly and professionally addressed. AMD will continue to be my go-to for other new issues / projects that come up around the house. read more

AMD is the best!!! I originally found them on Yelp a few years ago and they were GREAT. I had saved their info and reached out again this week when I needed help with some projects around the house. At first they weren't available in my timeline (I needed immediate, in the next few days) so I hired someone else. That person never showed up and was super unprofessional! I emailed AMD explaining I STILL needed someone, and they were able to do NEXT DAY! FANTASTIC! Daniel was super courteous, polite and professional. So was the other guy a few years ago, so I think all their employees are fantastic in this way! Both men wore booties over their shoes as a courtesy in my house. Daniel wore his mask the ENTIRE time he was in my house (I also kept all the windows open) and was totally cool about my desire to be outside of the house while he was working, for extra covid safety (I was still available by phone). Daniel helped me hang up some hooks, repair and replace toilet seats, assemble and hang a bathroom cabinet, a towel rack, and remove old and install a NEW microwave- which he went to the store and picked up for me. Originally he quoted he thought everything would take about two hours, but we didn't know the microwave would need replacing, and other things came up (as they do) and he was here 6 hours!! I'm so grateful to him for his hard work (2 over the range microwaves are HEAVY!!!), especially when he wasn't anticipating being here so long. He was always so nice and very polite and a pleasure to work with. He asked for a broom after everything and cleaned up after himself which I thought was such a nice touch and was very appreciated since I have a baby. Thanks to him my house is now in great shape and ready to review our first vaccinated guests! I was also able to pay by PayPal which was super convenient. I will TOTALLY go to AMD first for any future house projects. Thank you, AMD!! read more
