I've contacted many many contractors and these people are the worst when it comes to communication and fees. I had them install my kitchen counter top along with sink, garbage disposable and dishwasher The installers were all good people - the 1 star review is for whoever the hell their management is. They make false promises and point blank tell me that something will get that on a specific day and then no one shows up and no contact for days. On the day of payment they send me a receipt 10 minutes before and tell me oh btw these fees need to be added on. It wouldn't be a problem if they told me before hand but what kind of business does it after they buy supplies and materials without asking me first and then suddenly tell me by just adding on fees. Just finished a bathroom remodel and garage repair with AMD Construct. My bathroom flooded and it leaked into the garage. We had to repair the garage but wanted to remodel the bathroom. Insurance provided us an estimate for the repairs, and AMD's estimate to repair the garage was spot on with what insurance said. Then we just had to pay out of pocket for the bathroom remodel, which was cheaper than a different company we were looking at. I originally reached out back in May but then held off on making a decision due to some outside factors. I reached back out to them again on July 13th, and they were able to get someone out by July 20th, and they completed by July 28th, very fast! Service was great. Alex was very friendly and kind. We had a little bit of a language barrier but he used Google Translate, or asked the receptionist of their company to call/email me to ask any clarifying questions. In the end it wasn't a problem. Alex even took off his shoes before entering my house, without me even asking him to. He cleaned up any messes that were made in the garage and they picked up any trash from all the work as well. They were flexible with payment. I just paid through Zelle, and even though I had a $2000 daily limit, they were okay with me spreading out the payments over several days. The quality of the work was top notch and they did finish everything (mostly) in a months time. They were also timely and stuck to the schedule mostly. There were also couple of improvements they should make in some areas, like having some of their subcontractors to not touch owners personal items, not damaging items, clear communication on costs for additional works (this was something which I was not a big fan of), good idea on plumbing and parts recommendations. We worked with AMD to remodel two bathrooms in our home and to change out our front door and a few bedroom doors. From start to finish, they were a dream to work with. Communication was so easy, which is so important in these kinds of projects. The two point-people we were in constant communication with for the projects were Sergey and Miguel. Both are extremely kind, considerate, and professional, and you can see that they are skilled at what they do. It can be overwhelming to start any construction project, which we definitely felt at the beginning. But these guys were very helpful even in the process of shopping and acquiring materials, and giving input which helped our decision making when choosing materials. As much as I like saving money by doing home repairs myself, often it feels like a second full-time job and I just don't have the time. AMD Handyman to the rescue! I needed a few things done including repairing a drywall joint, painting a closet, caulking a counter, and replacing a rotted part of a door frame on a shed. AMD was quick to respond to my Yelp messages and their rate was reasonable, so I decided to hire them for the job. The day of, my assigned handyman spent the first hour at Home Depot getting the materials that I had neglected to purchase. Had I done that myself, this would've saved billable time and I would've had the luxury of choice. But he found decent materials, including a piece of wood whose texture matched the rest of the door frame. I was pleased with how the work turned out. The replacement wood was slightly too thick, so the handyman had to cut part of the shed to make it fit. After painting, it matched so well that that part of the shed looks totally original! One thing that could've been better is that the handyman caulked the edge of the wood, but there was a small gap where he had cut that was missed. Part of the caulk also eventually cracked. I mentioned this in my original 4-star review, and AMD reached out and arranged for the handyman to come back to redo the caulk at no additional charge. Plus one star for the stellar service. Note: AMD charges a fee for paying by credit card, and no fee if paying by Venmo or PayPal. They were quick to send me an invoice when requested. Overall, the quality of the work was reasonable given the constraints. I wouldn't mind hiring them again for the next repair job that I don't feel like tackling myself! read more

Unfortunately first time when I post negative review back in Feb 2021 after their estimator came in and never got back to me w proper estimate, they contacted me and asked to remove negative review, also told me they will provide "correct" estimate. After a while and back and forward emails I received VERY expensive estimate!! of $2100 for only one bathroom remodeling! (I asked them to provide estimate for two bathrooms and kitchen!!! with exact instructions what I want to do) and even than estimate was not completed per my request. So I went with another person/handyman and did two bathrooms and a kitchen remodeling for a fraction of the cost of this company estimate, totaling $2300 for both bathrooms and a kitchen. We really enjoyed working with AMD Construct on our house. The work on the bathrooms was excellent! From the beginning, communication and quoting was clear with Sergey. They offered us a good price and we picked them based on their efficient and clear communication and examples of prior work. They were able to start relatively promptly with the main gate of gathering the majority of the materials together. Miguel and his team especially were awesome to work with and had great attention to detail. I enjoyed that Miguel would give very good input for material selection issues, positioning, or other final aesthetic details that I personally don't have the patience or eye for. Even with minor corrections that needed to be touched up after, they made everything right and good. I would definitely bring them back for any future jobs I have. Actually, I had my project done 2 years ago. It was a horrible experience. This company is apparently run by some agents, and it really depends on which contractor you will have for your project. My project was done by a guy and he told me he couldn't finish it. Later, he got someone else who completed the last part in very bad quality. They missed so many things when remodeling our bathrooms and then when we contacted when they completed the project when we found an issue in the work they did, they refused to take accountability even though we had photo and video evidence of the work that had done incorrectly after getting it fixed by someone else. Would give negative stars if I could. We worked with Sergi and he's all talk until you sign the contract and start the project. We also paid double the tiles in our bathroom because they didn't even estimate correctly. To respond to the business owner: we literally have proof from the company that fixed the issue that the root issue was covered up by the contractors that worked on the house and there is a picture of the wrong pipe that was put in and videos of the tree root that was covered up that there is no way the contractor would have missed so that's not an excuse. read more
