What a nice new place. I found out about that by accident. It was 101 degrees out and I called to…read moremake sure their AC was working and as I ended our call he said they moved. Good thing I called or we would have thought they went out of business add our night would have been spring roll less. I love their new location. It's down the street and all you do is take a different exit on the freeway to get here. I think the new place is larger, but my husband disagrees, he thinks it's smaller. I love the long tables and booth options. I also love the newness of it. It's not so grimy as the old location was. We originally sat at a table for 4 as there were for of us and I didn't want to to hog a large table. As we were ordering he asked if we were ordering more and suggested we move to a larger table. The large table worked out perfect. I'm glad they suggested it. We had so much food. We ordered 1.5 of the House Special make it your self spring rolls and a combo rice plate for our nephew. The spring rolls were as good as I remembered them. I love the chicken as it feels less processed.then the pork patties. We got some of each and the pork patties weren't bad. I love adding hoisin sauce to the inside of the spring rolls. It really ups the flavor to it. My husband on the other hand added the peppers condemns into the house sauces and mixed that up and added it to the spring rolls. He really liked the kick the pepper condiment gave the sauce. I tried it and mixed together it wasn't' too hot as it was watered down by the house sauces. I make sure I put a little of everything into each roll: Cucumber, Crispy fried wrap, pickled veggies, vermicelli noodles and lots of greens. After years of practice I'm a pretty good spring roll roller. I tuck the ends in so it doesn't leak out. The 1.5 order of spring rolls would easily feeds 4 people. The full order comes with 8 rice papers and half an order comes with 4 rice papers. That makes a total 12 rice papers. 3 per person and that is plenty. Parking is a breeze and they don't have any sighs that say beware of break-ins and make sure you have nothing valuable out in the open. So I felt so much more comfortable parking in their lot.

I've been to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa twice now. Their food is actually pretty tasty which is why I have…read moremixed feelings about this place. I like their spring rolls a lot. The fried wrapper inside adds a nice crunch, and the portion of pork inside is generous. I got the angel hair vermicelli with grilled chicken. They give a lot of veggies, so the meal feels light and healthy. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Unfortunately, I found a piece of hair on my chicken. This ruined my meal, and I lost my appetite. Quan Nem Ninh Hoa has good food but they need to work on their food safety and cleanliness.

Saigon Oi is located in the heart of South Sac's Little Saigon district…read more Parking can be tight so what hubby did was drop us off while he circled the complex. It's a pretty popular restaurant so joining the waitlist on Yelp helps to get in the queue. When we got there, we were already on the Yelp waitlist so our wait wasn't really long. For this visit, we had the following: Dishes - Ribeye steak and Vietnamese shaking beef, Crispy Fish Sauce chicken wings both served with red rice. Drinks - Kumquat lemongrass tea and coconut coffee Their food is really good, reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and friendly, definitely provided great service. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Simply decorated. There's a small space for waiting customers. Definitely highly recommended when you're in this area but be prepared for the wait especially on a high peak day like the weekends. August 2026

We got the banh khot, green thai tea, com do beef steak and com do ga quay. The banh khot came piping hot and crispy. It was good and I would come back just for that. The green thai tea was also really good and had a hint of pandan. The two other entrees were about the same, but just different protein. For the ribeye, we were asked how we wanted it and said "medium rare", but it came out to well done. It was chewy and didn't have much flavor besides the topping that's on top. The chicken was crispy, but the meat lacked flavor and was quite dry. Both protein was not enjoyable to eat unfortunately. The portions are nice though and one entree can definitely be shared between two people. Overall experience, it was just okay. The food really did the most damage.

I usually come for lunch and it looks like they've made some changes. Lunch is takeout style but you are able to eat in their restaurant, if desired. Menu is smaller, prices slightly cheaper but also reflected in smaller portions. If looking for full service and larger portions, I would recommend coming for dinner. They also have this ?secret sauce. It looks and tastes like roasted garlic in a red chili oil. It pairs so good with their chili sauce and beef pho. I recommend asking to try this special sauce.

I've attempted to come here several times, but the timing just hasn't been on my side. A few weeks ago, we stopped by only to find them closed, with no updated business hours posted. Last week, I came across a recent Yelp review mentioning a lunch menu, and the owner had even responded to that review! So naturally, I assumed they were open earlier in the day. A few days ago, my boyfriend finally got tired of hearing me talk about how badly I was craving THEIR pho and ONLY their pho! No substitutions, no negotiations! So we decided to give it another try. We arrived around 4:30 PM, only to discover their hours had changed to 5:30 PM-12 AM. (The sign in my photo actually says 5:30 PM-12 PM, but I'm assuming they meant 12 AM.) An entire hour too early! I was SO bummed! Since we were already hungry, we ended up going next door for Mongolian BBQ. Mind you, I'm not even a big fan, but hunger won that battle. The entire time, I felt like I was CHEATING on my favorite pho spot! And to make matters worse, as we were leaving around 5:15 PM, we actually walked right past the owners with their dogs! OMG, talk about feeling guilty and almost ashamed! Like I had just been caught cheating! I've since noticed that they've recently updated their business hours on Yelp, which is definitely helpful! Hopefully, this will save me from another unsuccessful pho mission. I'm determined to get my pho fix soon! Weekends might be my best bet since their later opening hours make it a little challenging for us to visit during the week. Until then, the craving continues! And trust me, NO other pho will do!

All of this costing almost $50 too (I know nothing is cheap when going out to eat now but disappointment has a higher price tag now). This has been a staple for a long time for my family and me!…read more Sometimes I get banh cuon cravings and this is the place to go. My family would often dine in when I was younger. It was your typical Asian restaurant with the simple service. They would have all the sauces/dips on the table. When I came in for lunch this time, the restaurant seemed like it was getting good business for dine in. Over the years, prices have increased and it feels with this most recent time I did to-go, the serving was a bit smaller. I got the special with the rice flour sheets, rice flour sheets with dried shrimp, and the rolls filled with pork. It also included a few fried items including egg roll, and a piece of nem (fermented pork). Not sure if it was because the to-go container was taller than what I'm used to, but it also seemed like the quantity was smaller than usual. I think the veggies (cucumbers and bean sprouts) filled me up mostly, but I had a couple of pieces of banh cuon to save after eating most of it for lunch. They gave more fish sauce than I needed, which did fill up a good amount of the to-go container. Taste was mostly what I've remembered. Pick up service was relatively quick, but also friendly. Overall, it was fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

Extremely disappointing. The food I received tasted old, like it had been left overnight and…read morereheated rather than freshly prepared. What makes it worse is that I was still charged full price as if I were getting fresh food. If a restaurant is going to charge customers full price, the food should at least be fresh and worth what they're paying for. I felt like I completely wasted my money here. I will not be coming back and definitely cannot recommend this place.

I'm not sure how long this restaurant has been open but it was our first time here. We decided to…read moreeat here because we saw on the reviews that they had ox tail soup and bun rieu ( crab noodle soup). It appears the restaurant mainly serves seafood. As there are a lot of seafood options. However there is hotpot options and other noodle and rice dishes as well. The restaurant has a small outdoor patio. Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water. If I'm craving for seafood, maybe I'll come back to try their seafood options.

The razor clams were really good too, solid 8/10. Morning glory stir fry is one of my go-to dishes and they did it right -- 9/10. The clay pot catfish was tasty, just a little too sweet for me, but it went great with the rice 7/10. Definitely ask for the Dasavi Lemon Chili Sauce for the oysters and clams -- it's sooo good. I usually drown everything in chili oil at Asian spots, but theirs was sweeter and had a different flavor, so maybe try it first before dumping a bunch on your plate. Service was good
