(And yes, it is a small business, Todd is often the sole employee with one or two max young helpers; usually his sons). Shipping heavy stoves is very expensive, and occasionally he has to adjust the shipping prices. I know from experience crazy amounts of duty and import charges can occur and at times likely he has absorbed costs to make them as affordable as possible for people. SilverFire also does great humanitarian work; check out their website pictures and videos. Google Youtube videos for accurate reviews of this company and their products and you'll see that these stoves work great and are perfect in this COVID day...perfect for off-grid cooking and emergency water and food prep, etc. They also sell things like solar lanterns, really quick boiling kettles, solar ovens (I have one that I use in sunny California), etc. I also own the scout stove and that's my fave quick little one that works super efficiently.

I hiked up to the top of a small peak in the cascades and used some pine ones to heat up some water for food with the scout. It was snowing at the time! We use the pizza oven for pizza (obviously) but it's great for anything you would use a normal oven for. We used to lose power a lot in our last house and it was great to be able to cook food even when the power was out. Highly recommended. I think some people are expecting amazon levels of service... I think amazon has enough of my money, it's nice to support a small business. Thanks Todd!

Driving around and calling proved useless as the only bellows we found was almost $300!! It was gorgeous though, but too beautiful to use. Finally, Home Depot Customer Service recommended this small mom and pop shop. I'm so glad they did! We called them and yes they have bellows. We drove over and were greeted with a smile. I was stupefied to think I'm going to a sewing and vacuum repair for a bellows?!? What?? Uhh, okay, then I might go to a burger joint looking for a car wash?? ... Jokes on me as this place has it all! Yes, they have loads of sewing and vacuum equipment, supplies and repairs, plus they have a beautiful selection of pizza ovens and outdoor barbecues. There was one pizza oven in particular that really caught my eye. This beauty would go well on my patio deck next to my smoker. It runs on either wood or propane and is assembled on a really nice frame with shelving. It can do fairly large pizzas as well. Other areas of the store surprised me as there was also a nice variety of wood and pellet stoves as well as a section for sewing and vacuum. I ended up with a nice quality bellows for less than $100 and a firewood tote that was made from recycled canvas materials and very sturdy. The store is clean and well organized with quality brand names. Staff are polite and friendly and they mentioned they are new owners. I would definitely go back for more supplies.

They delivered it that evening and when they left my house i noticed a leg was broken and they did not deliver any of the cushions with it. Next morning I went to rent a center and spoke with Charles the driver and showed pictures of the broken leg. They said they would get there when his boss jason showed up but he's going through alot of family personnel stuff so we don't know when we can come get it. I went home and waited and After calling them multiple times and spoke with Charles everytime,, I kept getting the run around on pick up times. I started asking for Jason and evrytime Charles would tell me Jason is with a customer and he will call you when he's done. Well after getting this 3-4 different calls I told Charles, "I'm a dam customer and I'm a cash customer, so I'm listening to a female laugh at me during these calls and other employees laughing and commenting, " oh he's trying to get his money back, good luck" UNQUOTE! Charles has me on speaker phone every phone call. I finally spoke with Jason and he said he would send the guys out to get the couch after lunch and I will try and get a replacement from another store because my boss and corporate don't allow refunds on cash sales! Now it took a couple more calls to get Charles to come get the couch and he came alone knowing im disabled. He showed up alone and needed my help or he couldn't do it, so I had to help even though I'm disabled and got hurt helping him do his job. I than asked about a receipt ot replacement and he said, "I'm just the driver, you need to speak with jason", OH I see where this is going. Edward G. Kingsford helped Henry Ford procure a stretch of timberland to supply wood for his auto plants which no doubt created a massive amount of waste. While the innovative charcoal briquet was initially marketed under Ford's own brand, it was eventually renamed Kingsford® Charcoal in Edward's honor. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Kingsford converts more than one million tons of wood waste into charcoal briquets every year, making Kingsford the leading manufacturer of charcoal in the United States and they own about 80% of the market share, with the recent inflation and rising prices the door has opened for many others to enter the market so our options drastically increased. Like many companies diversifying is essential and key to staying profitable and although I've never used any Kingsford product except for charcoal and fire starters - this company's line of products have expanded in unimaginable ways. Besides their signature briquets they also offer flavored briquets, wood pellets, a range of fire starters, grilling tools, baked beans, chili, pork ribs, spices and seasonings, cast iron pans, grill cover, flavor boosters - I think you get the point. I've tried a number of brands of fire starters but I always come back to Kingsford, these clean fast burning bundles burn completely and provides enough fuel to ignite the charcoal without any aftertaste - I think the research is over and I'll stick with these guys...

I knew the business was here, but never really paid much attention to it. Mike and I stopped in so he could get a new light for his hot tub. I was surprised by the variety of merchandise they carry, spas, patio furniture, outdoor fireplaces, grills... anything you can put outside, it seemed like they had it. The employees here are super laid back and it was actually fun to sit down and chat with them. Kinda reminded me of like seeing an old friend at the store. Relaxed, lots of laughs, and nice. Not the formal, salesmen type interaction. Their level of customer service is awesome. Not only did my brother tell me about previous experiences while we were there, but I witnessed it myself as well. My brother had problems off and on with the spa he had purchased here for a while. I think he got a lemon, which even the sales clerk thought too when we were discussing it. All of the accessories gave him problems, lights, stereo, ect. Finally the salesman just returned it and got him a brand new spa. I don't know exactly what he had to do in order to make that happen, but it wasn't easy trying to make it happen. They had ran a sale on lights the previous week. My brother didn't make it in before the sale ended, but they still gave him a discount on it, even a few days after it ended. I was very impressed by how willing they were to go out of their way to keep a long-time customer happy. I don't have an immediate need for a business like this, but based on the interaction I had here, I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. The relaxed, helpful atmosphere, and level of customer service is just impressive. I wish all businesses went out of their way to take care of their customers!

So I roll up to Onsen Hourly Hot Tub & Sauna Rentals like a man who's got it all figured out swimsuit on, towel in hand, probably standing there like I'm about to give a safety briefing. I open that door... and instantly realize I am wildly overdressed for the occasion. Steam hanging in the air, candles flickering like we're in some low-budget romance film, and not a single person concerned with formalities. Just laughter, music, and that free-spirited, slightly janky charm of 30 years ago when nobody cared if things matched they just cared if it felt right. And those girls? Oh, they clocked me immediately. You could see it in their faces half amusement, half "we're about to fix this situation." There's some playful teasing, a little splashing, and next thing you know, I'm being coaxed into the tub like it's some kind of initiation ritual. I'm pretending to resist, holding onto what little dignity I had left, but let's be honest that ship had already sailed the second I walked in dressed like a lifeguard at a party that clearly didn't need one. Before long, it turns into full-blown chaos in the best way. People laughing, trying to pull me into the water, glow sticks getting tossed in like we accidentally invented a neon hot tub rave, candles lining the edges, and yeah someone passes around a little herb like it's part of the ceremony. It wasn't fancy, it wasn't polished heck, it was a little rough around the edges but that's what made it perfect. It felt real. Like one of those nights you couldn't plan if you tried. And somewhere in all that between the laughter, the steam, and me finally giving in and joining the madness I remember thinking, this right here is something I'm never gonna forget. Not because it was wild, but because it was genuine. Pure, unfiltered fun with zero pretense. What blows my mind is coming back all these years later... and realizing you can still tap into that same energy. Maybe you're a little older, maybe a little wiser (debatable), but the spirit of the place is still there. The hot water, the open air, the freedom to unwind your own way responsibly, of course but still with that same spark that made it special in the first place. Some places change. Some places lose their magic. This one? Still got it.

We were side swiped by the owner who was going to 'help us' She treated us as though we were being screened for adopting a child. She was anxious with a superior tone that would make anyone feel scolded. It was uncomfortable to be around her. There was no browsing or space to look for the supplies-because she definitely owned the room. We wore masks and were respectful to maintain social distance. We simply were quiet and stayed on task asking for test strips. She went on and on about how she 'always has to educate people about their spas.'
