(And yes, it is a small business, Todd is often the sole employee with one or two max young helpers; usually his sons). Shipping heavy stoves is very expensive, and occasionally he has to adjust the shipping prices. I know from experience crazy amounts of duty and import charges can occur and at times likely he has absorbed costs to make them as affordable as possible for people. SilverFire also does great humanitarian work; check out their website pictures and videos. Google Youtube videos for accurate reviews of this company and their products and you'll see that these stoves work great and are perfect in this COVID day...perfect for off-grid cooking and emergency water and food prep, etc. They also sell things like solar lanterns, really quick boiling kettles, solar ovens (I have one that I use in sunny California), etc. I also own the scout stove and that's my fave quick little one that works super efficiently.

I hiked up to the top of a small peak in the cascades and used some pine ones to heat up some water for food with the scout. It was snowing at the time! We use the pizza oven for pizza (obviously) but it's great for anything you would use a normal oven for. We used to lose power a lot in our last house and it was great to be able to cook food even when the power was out. Highly recommended. I think some people are expecting amazon levels of service... I think amazon has enough of my money, it's nice to support a small business. Thanks Todd!

So I roll up to Onsen Hourly Hot Tub & Sauna Rentals like a man who's got it all figured out swimsuit on, towel in hand, probably standing there like I'm about to give a safety briefing. I open that door... and instantly realize I am wildly overdressed for the occasion. Steam hanging in the air, candles flickering like we're in some low-budget romance film, and not a single person concerned with formalities. Just laughter, music, and that free-spirited, slightly janky charm of 30 years ago when nobody cared if things matched they just cared if it felt right. And those girls? Oh, they clocked me immediately. You could see it in their faces half amusement, half "we're about to fix this situation." There's some playful teasing, a little splashing, and next thing you know, I'm being coaxed into the tub like it's some kind of initiation ritual. I'm pretending to resist, holding onto what little dignity I had left, but let's be honest that ship had already sailed the second I walked in dressed like a lifeguard at a party that clearly didn't need one. Before long, it turns into full-blown chaos in the best way. People laughing, trying to pull me into the water, glow sticks getting tossed in like we accidentally invented a neon hot tub rave, candles lining the edges, and yeah someone passes around a little herb like it's part of the ceremony. It wasn't fancy, it wasn't polished heck, it was a little rough around the edges but that's what made it perfect. It felt real. Like one of those nights you couldn't plan if you tried. And somewhere in all that between the laughter, the steam, and me finally giving in and joining the madness I remember thinking, this right here is something I'm never gonna forget. Not because it was wild, but because it was genuine. Pure, unfiltered fun with zero pretense. What blows my mind is coming back all these years later... and realizing you can still tap into that same energy. Maybe you're a little older, maybe a little wiser (debatable), but the spirit of the place is still there. The hot water, the open air, the freedom to unwind your own way responsibly, of course but still with that same spark that made it special in the first place. Some places change. Some places lose their magic. This one? Still got it.

Driving around and calling proved useless as the only bellows we found was almost $300!! It was gorgeous though, but too beautiful to use. Finally, Home Depot Customer Service recommended this small mom and pop shop. I'm so glad they did! We called them and yes they have bellows. We drove over and were greeted with a smile. I was stupefied to think I'm going to a sewing and vacuum repair for a bellows?!? What?? Uhh, okay, then I might go to a burger joint looking for a car wash?? ... Jokes on me as this place has it all! Yes, they have loads of sewing and vacuum equipment, supplies and repairs, plus they have a beautiful selection of pizza ovens and outdoor barbecues. There was one pizza oven in particular that really caught my eye. This beauty would go well on my patio deck next to my smoker. It runs on either wood or propane and is assembled on a really nice frame with shelving. It can do fairly large pizzas as well. Other areas of the store surprised me as there was also a nice variety of wood and pellet stoves as well as a section for sewing and vacuum. I ended up with a nice quality bellows for less than $100 and a firewood tote that was made from recycled canvas materials and very sturdy. The store is clean and well organized with quality brand names. Staff are polite and friendly and they mentioned they are new owners. I would definitely go back for more supplies.

It has followed me to many moves, and has made clothes and gifts throughout the years. A few years ago, the button hole feature did not work. I hated it, and used my Viking as well as I could. Recently, I decided to at least have my old Viking cleaned, and took it in for service. A whole new crew--and THEY FIXED IT LIKE NEW!! I am SO HAPPY! And it was only a week to do, and reasonable rate. Can't say enough about the great service. Please support this business.

You walk into a showroom with some exciting and inviting items for your backyard oasis. My boyfriend and I just bought a house and it came with a hot tub-a first for both of us. We were excited to find a store that specialized in pools and spas! The most *unfortunate part is the owner. We went in to simply buy hot tub test strips. We were side swiped by the owner who was going to 'help us' She treated us as though we were being screened for adopting a child. She was anxious with a superior tone that would make anyone feel scolded. It was uncomfortable to be around her. There was no browsing or space to look for the supplies-because she definitely owned the room. We wore masks and were respectful to maintain social distance. We simply were quiet and stayed on task asking for test strips. She went on and on about how she 'always has to educate people about their spas.' He voice was loud and she would eye each of us-looking us up and down. At one point my boyfriend said, 'so do you not want to sell us the test strips?' After we were scolded and schooled on our spa we left feeling just icky. Why would anyone ever shop there? Best wishes if you dare to enter....

Once installation began everything went downhill. When the installation was made the employee was grunting like he was about to pass out. Even the neighbors heard it. I thought I was going to have to pick this guy up the floor he was about to pass out. That day it was raining and your installers walked in and out of our house without whipping their feet and left muddy tracks all over our floor. We then had the inspection from the city. When we first got the quote we were told we needed to add an outlet because the stove had a fan. It was an additional $600 to add this outlet so I said we could do it ourselves. All I needed to know was where I needed to place it. They told me anywhere is fine. It could be floating in the back. That's what we did and we failed the inspection. They said it was a fire hazard. Which made sense. The inspector asked for more info from the manufacturer so we can find out exactly where it needed to go. I called ambassador and they told me they could not help me because the outlet was not added by them. But they would have the owner call me. He did and he said this is how they usually do it and don't have problems. He said he would speak to the inspector directly and send me pictures and more info on where I could install it. . Which i appreciated. Except nothing was ever sent to me. I had to reach out to him multiple times for more info on where to install the outlet. It took several weeks for the outlet to be installed properly and the inspection to pass because we had prior engagements that made it so we couldn't solve this right away. Finally the inspection passed and we were ready for them to install the last parts of the fireplace so I called them to set this up. They told me their next appointment was not for another week and a half out. I asked if there was any way we could be squeezed in as it was only a few parts that needed to be added and we would be going on vacation for 2 weeks and would not be home when they had the next appointment. They were able to fit me in which again I appreciated. We couldn't wait to be able to turn on our new stove. A few hours after making that call I get a call that I missed from the owner. He left me a voice mail and a text asking for me to call him back regarding our project. I thought oh my gosh. Something is wrong with it. Nope. He just wanted me to make sure I made the payment before leaving town. Lol. I said no problem. I will make the payment once the work is completed. He was not happy. But we left it at that. The owner then texts me again asking to make the payment before leaving on vacation. He asked me a total of 4 times. Which was WILD to me. Their contract states we have 15 days after the project is done to make the payment before leaving the project was or even done! I told him this and he said the electrical part was not his responsibility which was what had set the entire project back. But with the negative experience I had I was afraid if I made the payment before the project was done they would not respond. So I waited until the last expecting passed and the second the inspector left I called to make the payment. The installers call me the day they were going to come finish the installation advising they would be here in 10 minutes. I made the necessary schedule changes I needed to make and put my dog away waiting for them. One hour passed and they had not showed up. I called to ask what the delay was and they said their paper work had been mixed up and ended up going to another house. It would have taken them 2 minutes to text me or call me and notify me of the delay. Also one of the ladies that works in their office is super rude and hates answering questions.

Since the beginning of time humans have been cooking over wood (charcoal) but it wasn't until about…read more1920 that a couple of entrepreneurs came up with a product that could be sourced from wood waste and simplified the art of grilling. Edward G. Kingsford helped Henry Ford procure a stretch of timberland to supply wood for his auto plants which no doubt created a massive amount of waste. While the innovative charcoal briquet was initially marketed under Ford's own brand, it was eventually renamed Kingsford® Charcoal in Edward's honor. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Kingsford converts more than one million tons of wood waste into charcoal briquets every year, making Kingsford the leading manufacturer of charcoal in the United States and they own about 80% of the market share, with the recent inflation and rising prices the door has opened for many others to enter the market so our options drastically increased. Like many companies diversifying is essential and key to staying profitable and although I've never used any Kingsford product except for charcoal and fire starters - this company's line of products have expanded in unimaginable ways. Besides their signature briquets they also offer flavored briquets, wood pellets, a range of fire starters, grilling tools, baked beans, chili, pork ribs, spices and seasonings, cast iron pans, grill cover, flavor boosters - I think you get the point. I've tried a number of brands of fire starters but I always come back to Kingsford, these clean fast burning bundles burn completely and provides enough fuel to ignite the charcoal without any aftertaste - I think the research is over and I'll stick with these guys...
