Greeted us right at the door and asked us if they could help us finding anything. We were looking for wreaths and they pointed us in the right. They had a great selection of wreaths as that's what we were looking for. All of them were beautiful, but overpriced, even on sale. I decided on getting one that was 1/2 off of $80. So I spent $40. Still a little overpriced. But the wreath is beautiful. Beautiful store and very easy to find stuff. Just remember they're closed on Sundays.

The manager and 4 other employees were standing around while we waited to check out. The only line…read moreopen was the Refund line which we patiently stood in for 10 minutes due to a needy customer. When we saw one employee moving to another register, we stepped out of line to follow her. She ended up not opening up the register and the manager approached us to which we replied, could we pay for the items? He silently pointed to the Refund line. Other people had already stepped in front of us to pay, which made it even a longer line. The appropriate thing for the manager to do was to say sure I will take you here at another register. After we left, we realized the line was 10 deep and then he decided to open up another register . Work on serving customers FIRST rather than paying workers to stand around. Also smile at your customers rather than staring at us like we're thieves.

Every employee was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They confirmed my plan for my project sounded good, answered all my questions, and guided me towards the right materials for my project. They never once tried to upsell me and also didn't make me feel dumb for being a beginner. I felt like their prices were very fair. I also didn't feel rushed, I browsed the fabric for a while to make sure I picked the right one and they cut it and sold it to me right there. I had to come back for the custom cut piece of foam, but it was ready within a few hours. I highly recommend this spot!

I found this odd, given she was just sort of standing there with a bag and her purse, yet asking if we were looking for anything specific. Sooner or later a real employee came in. I'm presuming she stepped out to use the little girl's room or something. This store is packed full, and I mean full of stuff. There's some clothing, scarves, and leggings. There's every possible button you could ever want in your lifetime in here. Same goes with thread and ribbon. If you can't find what you're looking for in here, I highly doubt it exists. The store is easily filled with just 5 or 6 people because there is so much product crammed in here. The funny thing is even with so much product in such a tiny space, it is incredibly well organized. This is one of those places where if you're carrying a decent sized purse, turn around too fast, or are just a bit clumsy, it's pretty much guaranteed that you're going to crash into something. I found a hilarious pair of socks in here for my father in-law yesterday and went to buy them. As we're chatting with the employee, I grab ahold of my husband because he's about to run into a shelf. I can just see things spilling everywhere in my head and the mess he's going to create. As I'm trying to prevent what I think is less than a second away from becoming utter chaos, the employee reassured us that even working in the store and knowing where everything is, she still bumps shelves or runs into things almost daily. This simple warm reassurance relaxed me because I was nervous about being in such a small place and accidentally creating a huge mess for someone else to clean up. It's like going to someone's house and you're afraid to sit on any of the furniture kind of feeling. Not here. It's the relaxed, it happens kind of approach. Which is really what made it memorable to me. I heard another customer ask for a specific employee who had just left shortly before that. The customer wanted this employee because she could always find the customer the perfect buttons. If you ever find someone who has a knack for finding you exactly what you want when you're not even sure what that is, stalk them! Lol. That is a whole other level of customer service. But that also told me what kind of store this is, and that attention to details is a big deal to them. Would I return? Absolutely. It's a great store with a ton of products and incredible selection. The customer service is wonderful, warm, and welcoming. I certainly don't look like the kind of person who has crafting hobbies, and I only bought socks during my initial visit. Yet I was treated like I'd been in a thousand times and they knew me. I like that, and it is exactly why I will return when it's time to start a new craft project.

I'll still be shopping there because FOH people have always been so kind and amazing, but idk about donating because I really don't want to experience that again. Didn't get her name, but whoever was doing the donations in the back at 1pm today needed a break or something. She rolled her eyes, only spoke like two words to me and my partner, threw the bags down aggressively, and her overall attitude was not pleasant to encounter.

I moved to Eugene and was thinking wouldn't it be great if Eugene had such a place, and lo and behold, MECCA! It's like Seattle ReCreative but 10+ times larger! Paint, canvas, paper, folios, yarn, fabric remnants, yogurt tubs, wine bottles, plant pots, scrapbook papers, so much fun stuff to get you thinking creativity on a budget. My only suggestion is they might find a way to fill in the huge puddle right in front of their door, and that they somehow get more parking spaces!

Doug discussed it over the phone and suggested my wife and I come in. We were impressed with the roomful of sample catalogues and the prices were reasonable. After the material arrived it was about two months until he was able to get to it. It took him a month or so to finish the work, and the results are excellent. There was a delay while more fabric was ordered due to flaws in the material sent, but only a week. He not only reupholstered the chair, he added a zipper into the headrest to allow us to adjust the amount of stuffing in it and added velcro flaps on the base of the back to ease access to the latches for removing the back off of the base. He's easy to work with, honest and very amicable. It's hard to find a good upholsterer and Doug is a gem.

I don't know what I was thinking about the first time I made a visit but I just didn't have my eyes open.
