Every time I go in, there are so many beautiful and cute things to look at. The price point tends to be a little high for me, but a lot of the items are worth it. Such a classy little store with the nicest people working there. Very helpful and very low key sales people. Gave me my space and answered all my questions. Came in just to browse and ended up bringing home a little necklace I didn't even realize I was looking for until it caught my eye. One glance and that was that. Tried it on and haven't taken it off since. There are place settings, wine glasses and other unique items in New Twist, too. Sigh. There are so many lovely dainty jewelry in this store. I'd buy everything if it wasn't over my price range. I just bought the cutest little pocket Buddha charm to take with me everywhere I go. My partner and I selected handsomely designed rings to mark a special event. Hers was too big; we were assured sizing could be done in two weeks. Eight weeks later, they allowed as how they had had one in her size all along(never called us.) So we got our rings. And the bronze finish began to wear off within a week! Within a month, it was gone, revealing the cheaper copper underneath. When we went back to see about fixing this , we were asked,'oh, didn't they tell you this would happen?' It's unfortunate that I feel justified in providing 1 star to this cool boutique. I've shopped here for the last year and a half. I've been pleased to find unique jewelry or gift items for loved ones. However, I've had two experiences (with poor management response) that will prevent me from doing future business with this store. I ordered a custom bracelet because they didn't have the color of stone we wanted. I was told this wasn't a problem and would be ready in approximately 6 weeks and the store would contact me. I waited 7 weeks before calling them, received no response. I finally emailed around week 8 and received a response that it would be a couple more weeks. This caused me to loose it as a gift for a special occasion. The second incident included purchase of a nice ring. After purchase we realized the ring needed to be sized. It was purchased before Christmas and we were told the sizing would be "free with the artist", but that we should "come back in a couple weeks after the Holiday". We went back and we were told the sizing would cost us $25.00. (The purchase price of the ring was certainly worthy of a free sizing). To add insult to injury they agreed to contact us when the ring sizing was complete. -They said the sizing could take "up to two weeks" and they would "call us when it's in." We called one day short of two weeks and the response was. "We'll call you when someone picks up the shipment." Two days later and another call to the store (again we're having to do the effort) they tell us it was in. We stopped by on Friday at 6:15pm, the store is locked up!!! Hours posted were until 7pm. Tried calling the number "We're sorry this voicemail is full." Unique items, nice customer service up front, but buyer beware! Once they have your money, don't expect much more from them. At no time did management offer to apologize for this issue or make amends. read more

New Twist has some lovely hand-made jewelry, including pearls, lot of great earrings. The rest of the store is kind of 'meh'. They specialize in household decor and gifts, but a lot is a little too overpriced-artificial-rustic for me, and the other half a bit too shiny/overdone. Nothing that seems particularly in touch with current trends, and the collection seems to change little from year to year. read more

Most of the jewelry is okay but many of the household gift items are ugly. The stores carries the Stick brand of furniture but features some of the more ugly products of that unique furniture factory. If you like odd things and overdone, over priced items such as serving spoons with twig and acorn design handles of brass, this is your type of place. I don't usually write reviews but I recently had such a great experience at New Twist that I wanted to share. I went in to buy a ring for my wife for a surprise proposal to renew our vows for our 20th wedding anniversary. I don't know much about jewelry but the staff put me at ease and made finding the perfect ring for her a priority. They could have pushed me toward bigger and more expensive rings but instead they asked me to describe her and what she likes and together we chose a small understated ring which she describes as "made for her". I know from my experience and from talking with other people that the staff of New Twist are driven not by a big sale but to help customers with purchases that will help to create lasting memories and treasured keepsakes. read more

What a charming store! I was recently on the hunt for some stacking rings, and a friend recommended I try Newtwist. They had exactly what I was looking for! I purchased a set of gold stacking rings from an artist named Melissa Joy Manning, and a sweet little textured diamond band from another artist, Victoria Cunningham, to nestle in with them. The girls were so helpful and knowledgable about the jewelry! I cannot wait to go back to add to my ring collection.
