My issue with them stems from the fact that I submitted a couple of questions through their website contact form (regarding both their products and services) and received absolutely no response from them. No response is, of course, a response in itself, and tells me that the answers to my questions were "no." Okay, I could accept that if they had given me an honest answer. But the fact that they didn't have the professional courtesy or ethical practice to even respond is what causes me to give them a poor review. So if all you care about is the product, and not the professional ethics of the company, I would say their stuff is okay.

The employees here are super laid back and it was actually fun to sit down and chat with them. Kinda reminded me of like seeing an old friend at the store. Relaxed, lots of laughs, and nice. Not the formal, salesmen type interaction. Their level of customer service is awesome. Not only did my brother tell me about previous experiences while we were there, but I witnessed it myself as well. My brother had problems off and on with the spa he had purchased here for a while. I think he got a lemon, which even the sales clerk thought too when we were discussing it. All of the accessories gave him problems, lights, stereo, ect. Finally the salesman just returned it and got him a brand new spa. I don't know exactly what he had to do in order to make that happen, but it wasn't easy trying to make it happen. They had ran a sale on lights the previous week. My brother didn't make it in before the sale ended, but they still gave him a discount on it, even a few days after it ended. I was very impressed by how willing they were to go out of their way to keep a long-time customer happy. I don't have an immediate need for a business like this, but based on the interaction I had here, I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. The relaxed, helpful atmosphere, and level of customer service is just impressive. I wish all businesses went out of their way to take care of their customers!

From getting the old spa out to getting the new one in place, the delivery crew was very polite and professional. I finally popped an email to the company who makes it, and they suggested World Market. So off I go... Yes... World Market had the item I was looking for. And a whole lot more. All sorts of delicious food items imported from all over the world (sausages, candies, pastas, sauces, soups, etc). A huge selection of hard to find specialty items. I also wandered through the store to look at other stuff, and they have a nice selection of things. Baskets, blankets and throws, furniture, paintings, all sorts of stuff people need. Their reaction when they were called about it was that we are paying the witness to lie. What business owner reacts this way? So when you go in there and see all the items, remember.....they take advantage of people in their grief, and are extremely unprofessional in all capacities. They have really good condition, high quality, solid wood, vintage furniture for shockingly low prices. I seriously bought a dresser, a coffee table, two end tables and a desk AND had them delivered for under $700. I shopped around too. I am aware of the prices, quality and selection at other used and new furniture stores in Eugene. This store is a freaking gem. Every aspect of shopping here was incredible, from browsing to delivery. I actually felt compelled to go back and thank them. How often are you THAT happy with a purchase?

Nevertheless, I sat in some rockers, and found one in particular that was absolutely divine. But the price tag was a shocker - it started at around $1500 and went up from there, depending on wood choice. I left, and in my car ran a Web search on the chair, and found it for sale at several mail order sources in the $800-$900 range (plus, of course, around $120 shipping, which still made it about two-thirds the price of the one in the store). So: rude employees, unwelcoming environment, unreasonable prices: that adds up to one star in my book.

He said they had several in the store and I made arrangement to meet Lucas when the store opened. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Rode the elevator down to the recliner area. What I appreciated most was that there was no trying to up sell or show me chairs I was not interested in. Perfect interaction and I felt my purchase was appreciated. Lucas share that Brenners has been in business 85 years at the same location. Upstairs the paperwork, payment and delivery day was completed. The two men who delivered the chair were on time, friendly and thanked me for shopping Brenners. Totally wonderful and positive experience. Memorable for all the right reasons. When you step inside, there's nice jazz music, a nice smell and balloons contributing to a laid back party atmosphere. Our sales person felt honest and not pushy. There were at least three floors of furniture, lots of options. If you are looking for a sleeper sofa, definitely check this place out. We got a good deal on our purchases (they can usually meet other stores' prices) and they threw in delivery for free (normally $125). Definitely will be at the top of my list next time I need some furniture.
