We purchased a new counter depth refrigerator for our Portland house that…read morewas supposedly the same size as the one that we were replacing and it needed to fit into a built-in enclosure. Well, the dimensions of the new one were off (larger) by about 1/8" preventing it from fitting in the built-enclosure. We panicked and started calling all Yelp 5 star rated kitchen cabinet companies in town while our new refrigerator sadly sat in the middle of our kitchen. This company (NW Cabinet Source) immediately answered my desperate plea for help with Erv S. coordinating and Bill P. (the owner) coming out to modify the cabinetry the NEXT day!!! This is nearly unheard of these days. Bill did a beautiful job raising the cabinetry to make things fit. Hooray!! What a great company

The recently installed custom cabinetry was 3/4" too narrow to fit the frig. Adam's determination and desire to make it work without destroying the cabinets (a jigsaw, a belt-sander, an oscillating saw and about 3hrs) resulted in MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Not sure it will ever come back out (LOL!) but its IN THERE! We had several other minor projects around the house which seemed like child's play to Adam. He knocked everything out quickly and efficiently and REASONABLE rates! Seems like this guy can pretty much tackle MOST any handyman job and do it well!

Dendra Doors made custom doors for our Ikea Cabinets - and they turned out AMAZING! At first I was…read moreconfused by the website - because I couldn't quite figure out what my options were. But then I emailed them to clarify, and learned that it's because it's SO custom, the options are really pretty endless! Ciara (who is amazing to work with - super responsive and helpful) explained that I could choose painted doors (any color), a veneer, or laminate. I chose to go laminate, and just went to my local Home Depot to look at samples of Formica laminate (hundreds of options). Once I told her what I wanted (a faux aluminum laminate with a glass panel in the center), she told me it might even be cooler to just get real aluminum. Yes please! So she did all of the research to find a vendor that could supply the aluminum so that they could make the doors. She really searched for a good price for me, and then made sure that by the time the doors arrived to them for assembly, it was a fast turnaround to add the glass panels and ship them to me. They arrived perfectly packaged (from Oregon to California)- not a scratch on them. The doors look incredible, and we're super happy with the service and genuine care they obviously have for their customers. THANK YOU DENDRA DOORS!

We worked with Braden at Dendra Doors to do custom doors and panels for our new Ikea kitchen. I…read moreloved that they had a wide selection of door styles and colors to choose from, unlike Ikea, where the style selection is very limited. We really loved all of the storage solutions that came with an Ikea kitchen but didn't like the door styles, so this was a perfect compromise. Dendra was the only place that I could find that worked specifically with Ikea cabinets and had the door style that I was looking for. When it came time to choose a color, they mailed me color samples so I could decide exactly which one I wanted. They also worked with us to create a custom door for our pull out spice rack so that we didn't lose any valuable space. They were super responsive from beginning to end. Getting a quote was really easy, and when we had questions once we got to the install, they were happy to talk through things with us on the phone. We did have several doors that came to us flawed, either because drilling patterns were off or because there was a flaw on the door front. We checked the doors as soon as they came in, and would send Braden pictures of the doors, showing what was wrong. While it was certainly an annoyance and meant that we were having to sort through good vs. bad doors, they were really quick to respond and have the doors remade. Any remakes shipped very quickly too. It's definitely possible that that the pandemic contributed to this issue and made it worse that usual - either way, I was ultimately very pleased with the quality of doors I installed. Our kitchen has been complete for a couple months now, and I can still say that I am so happy I went with Dendra Doors. I haven't had any issues pop up with the doors so far, and they look great! You'd never know we had a Ikea kitchen.

You walk into a showroom with some exciting and inviting items for your backyard oasis. My boyfriend and I just bought a house and it came with a hot tub-a first for both of us. We were excited to find a store that specialized in pools and spas! The most *unfortunate part is the owner. We went in to simply buy hot tub test strips. We were side swiped by the owner who was going to 'help us' She treated us as though we were being screened for adopting a child. She was anxious with a superior tone that would make anyone feel scolded. It was uncomfortable to be around her. There was no browsing or space to look for the supplies-because she definitely owned the room. We wore masks and were respectful to maintain social distance. We simply were quiet and stayed on task asking for test strips. She went on and on about how she 'always has to educate people about their spas.' He voice was loud and she would eye each of us-looking us up and down. At one point my boyfriend said, 'so do you not want to sell us the test strips?' After we were scolded and schooled on our spa we left feeling just icky. Why would anyone ever shop there? Best wishes if you dare to enter....

Most of our…read moremaintenance work is done in-house, but we have used them when our maintenance supervisor is on vacation (or swamped) and for extensive projects. Brian is the main contact and he is always very professional and returns my phone calls promptly. When he has hired help, he always chooses professional and courteous people, which is very important in my line of work since they will be working in/around tenants' homes. Brian is very knowledgeable and versatile. Here are a few examples of the things we have had him do: Painting: We have used him for interior painting numerous times. He did a quick and excellent job. There was no overspray like you get with some painters. He cleaned up after himself. Fences: He tore down/hauled away old fences and installed and stained new ones on 60 patios, which was an extensive project. Though his bid came in slightly more expensive than another company, we used him because we knew he did quality work. When you are spending thousands of dollars on a project, you want to make sure that you're getting something that lasts. He works very quickly and efficiently. Again, he was working closely with over 60 tenants, and I received numerous compliments about how courteous he was. Replacement of sub-flooring: There was pet urine damage to a unit that was so extensive that it ruined the sub-flooring. We had a move-in scheduled, and so it was imperative that this was repaired ASAP . . .and of course, as Murphy's law would have it, this happened while our maintenance supervisor was on vacation! Thankfully, Brian was able to take care of this project in a timely manner! Quality work, timely, kind to others, and doesn't leave a mess behind - need I say more?
