Our really old fireplace finally gave it up, so I had Art at Fireplace Plus get us a new Heat&Glo to replace our old Heat&Glo. He came and installed it and did a great job. This is the third or fourth time we have had Art service and install our fireplaces. He is the best. read more

We were preparing to put our house on the market when we discovered our fireplace pilot light wouldn't ignite--right before showings were scheduled to begin. I called the big-name company in town and was told it would be a three-month wait for a technician. In a panic, I reached out to Fireplaces Plus on the recommendation of our realtor, and I'm so glad I did. Art answered the phone personally, listened to my situation, and showed up within hours--squeezing us in despite a packed schedule. He diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and professionally, ensuring our fireplace would turn on with the flip of a switch for potential buyers. The rate was at least half of what the other company quoted, and when I offered to pay a rush fee or tip, Art wouldn't accept it. In my 17 years living in Eugene, this was hands-down the best service I've ever received from a contractor or technician. Fireplaces Plus is a rare gem--responsive, honest, and incredibly skilled. If you need fireplace service, don't hesitate. Call them! read more

I have a very old Brickwell pellet stove. It was overheating and the blower was shutting down. Over the phone the owner said he would bring a new blower (fan). When he arrived, he fiddled with some wires and the fan turned on. But, the owner lacked the expertise to diagnose the fact that when the stove got hot it would overheat and the fan would shut down. (I already told him it did this). So, I had to hire a different company, which fixed the issue. So, the money I paid Fireplaces Plus was completely wasted. I cannot recommend them. read more

Fireplaces plus was quick to fix my problem, and I have zero complaints. I was very happy to see the technician came with shoe booties on a rainy day to prevent any mud being tracked in. The Technician was friendly and knowledgeable and not only fixed the issue of my gas fireplace not working, but he did a great job just cleaning the unit itself, vacuuming out cobwebs, and cleaning the glass window before finishing up. I would highly recommend Fireplace plus to anyone, and it did not hurt that it did not break the bank! read more

Art installed a gas vented insert for my gas fireplace. He is very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. I highly recommend Art . My fireplace is beautiful thanks to Art. read more

Fireplaces Plus - GOOD JOB ART Thank you!! - Fireplace Services Near Me

Fireplace Plus was excellent. My twenty-year-old gas fireplace was not staying on and has been temperamental for the last few years. The technician arrived on time and evaluated the problem. He decided that I needed a new value and should also get a new pilot. Since the repairs in the previous two years had limited success, I agreed, and he arranged to come back in ten days. He did the relatively expensive rebuild of the fireplace, which worked well for a couple of weeks when, again, the fireplace would turn off erratically. I called and spoke with Art. He set up an appointment two days later and fixed the minor problem of loose wires. Fireplace Plus stands by their work, and I was impressed with their response. read more

The technician was fantastic! He was patient, thorough, and informative. I am admittedly not good with home repairs, and nearly always need to rely on the professionals. He walked me through the process of at least learning some basics about my gas fireplace. I have large dogs, one of which was often in his space. He remained calm and friendly throughout. He didn't want or need them separated. The fireplace is looking and running great now. I appreciate their services and highly recommend. read more

Very professional service. Art came on time, fixed the problem with a fireplace inset, explained a few things and he left everything perfectly clean. He also wore shoe covers and put a blanket on the floor next to the fireplace for protection. I could not have asked for a better service and I wish there were more business like this one in Eugene (or anywhere else). read more

Art was at our home within 15 minutes of my call, and had the problem diagnosed and repaired (plus the fireplace cleaned inside and out) within 45 minutes of his arrival. ROBBED and LIED to.. I'm very disappointed with Art. I'm an owner and have rental units I've set up an appointment with Art about August 15. 2018. I scheduled an appointment 17 days out. when he shows up Sept 3 or so he tells me over the phone he needs to order parts and will take about 3 weeks before the parts arrive. ugh but what else can we do. i approve the ordering of parts. paid him 175.00 for service call still have not received an invoice for services. about 2 weeks later September 22, 2018 i call Art leave a message he calls back about 3 days later and makes up some excuse about not feeling comfortable with my renters and will not be able to work on my heater. REALLY after working with him for a couple months waiting for him only to tell me that he is not going to work on it. What about the 175.00 dollars and time i spent with him... The whole reason i went within was because everyone else had a 1 to 2 moth waiting time due to being busy. ART you suck you stole my $175.00 the service you provided did nothing but confirm the heater needs work. How many times have you pulled this routine? if nothing else you should return my 175.00 I feel robbed!!! read more

Exceptionally good service. I called and left a message, and got a call back the same day from Art. I had several issues with two gas fireplaces in our recently purchased house. I scheduled an appointment for Art to come out, and followed up with a confirmation call the day before, and Art returned my call to confirm. The following morning Art called to let me know he could come out earlier if I wanted, and I said "you betcha", and he showed up almost immediately with his helper Willem. They spread out a drop sheet and booties to protect our wood floors, and went right to work, checking off all the items from my to-do list. Totally professional, courteous, communicative, responsive, and quick. Art took the time to show me how to operate and maintain the fireplaces (cleaning, replacing the accent bulb), and to recommend a replacement remote control that should have come with the house but was forever lost.
