Very good Amazing Savings store on Rt. 10! Great prices and inventory. The shelves are well stocked and organized, and the aisles are clear and clean. Good selection of crafting stuff is in aisle 4. Lots of kitchen items in aisle 2. If you need aluminum trays for a party, they are on the shelves in the back of the store. I also found Trader Joe lemon kitchen soap here! Great finds! read more

My wife, a retired school teacher, shopped here for steeply discounted classroom supplies. Pens, pencils, colored markers and assorted note books made her purchases more affordable. These days, we shop here for toys for our church's Christmas giving tree donations. Again, the quality is there but the high prices ... even lower than WalMart ... are not. We love shopping here but check their schedule, religious rules rule the Saturday hours. read more

On March 5th approximately 3:30 pm. , the person at the cash register was peeping down the aisle watching my sister and I shop. We were purchasing items for women in need. ( Women's Month ) When we approached the cash register she never acknowledged us or even looked at us . Finished tallying up and said you want to buy a bag. I said no and went to the car to get one came back loaded up and left. She never said thank you. I should have stopped and not made the purchase. Will I go back no. Will go somewhere else. read more

I'm a huge fan of this discount store due to their unbeatable prices and the wide variety of products they sell. They have various products for gifting (Bags, tissue paper, paper shreds), storage, household items, kids activities, etc. We were able to find a bunch of activity books and storybooks for our niece and nephew which can get pricey for bored toddlers. My only complaint is they do not consistently carry products. For instance, I loved these little canvas baskets I found for $3, but when I went back two weeks later, and every time since, those baskets are nowhere to be found. Their hours are unique, but I've always been able to stop in quickly after work so that's never much of an issue. Their customer service helps if you ask, but don't initiate; which honestly I prefer anyways! read more

I have to admit, this is a great place to shop when you are throwing a party. Their prices are low (but sometimes the quality is as well). Seriously I don't care about quality. When I am looking for a wine gift bag, I go here. Birthday gift bag, again here. Christmas item, yup stop here. They also have tons of children's items (coloring books, simple toys, regular books...). It's a good place to go for cost saving items that you don't use everyday (they have a great selection of picture frames too). Their hours are unique (closes early on Friday and closed completely on Sat). I love stores like that, that hold to their traditions! Mazel tov! read more

Sometimes you just need to roam the aisles at Amazing Savings just for the fun of it. You never know what you might find in this place. A good variety of home items like glassware and kitchen gadgets. Interesting baskets for storage, picture frames, serving pieces and tons of random other items. The prices are very good and the store is nicely organized. read more

I hesitate to comment on this place as I love it and want to keep it a secret. Great buys, unbelievable prices for stuff that sells for WAY higher in other retail stores. read more

You can find loads of cheap household items here in addition to party goods. Lots of cosmetic bargains. I found a high end face cream valued at $35- for $5.99-! Toys, socks, books, well worth a field trip. read more

This truly is an Amazing place to shop! The savings are fantastic in all the departments! The employees are very helpful and courteous. They have such a wonderful variety that I usually spend at least an hour or more just checking things out! They are very respectful and mindful of their convictions in conducting their business and it is a pleasure to shop there. read more

I love shopping here for certain sundry, gift bag/wrap, stationery and other items. My first stop is usually the cosmetics aisle, where they sell drugstore brands at bargain prices. What an assortment! I could spend an hour looking through an array of eye shadows, lipsticks and nail polishes. They also have inexpensive socks, gloves, imitation Crocs and t-shirts. Then I head over to the gift bag aisle. Here, too, the variety is extensive and the prices are unbeatable. They have a good assortment of phone chargers and ear buds, both of which I seem to have to replace not infrequently. As others have noted, this store's business hours can be confusing. On more than one occasion, I've gone there only to find the store closed when I had expected it to be open. I guess that I don't always know when the holidays are. For instance, last Friday they closed at 2:15 pm, which was not sundown. I asked why they were closing earlier than usual and the snarky cashier just defensively said that there was a sign. Not responsive to my query. Then I saw a sign saying that they were going to start opening up at 7:00 pm on Saturdays. Really??? read more

I was in the East Hanover store on Thursday, November 3, 2022, and purchased quite a few items totaling $60. One of the items I purchased was favor bags, which were placed up at the top of the display, hanging from a metal hook. When I tried to take one package off the hook, the bag ripped, so an employee came over to help me. She also ripped the bag when trying to take the package down. The employee was successful after the third attempt and handed me the intact package of favor bags. I assumed she gave me the intact bag because it still had the price tag on it. Several minutes later I went to pay for all of my items and I was berated by the cashier because I didn't purchase the ripped bag. I explained that the store employee handed me the intact package and that I did not choose the one I purchased. The cashier then proceeded to shake her head and roll her eyes at me. Who is she to pass judgment on me, particularly since she had absolutely no idea what had transpired prior to my purchase? It seems as though training employees in appropriate customer service skills is necessary. I will make sure I pass the word about the treatment customers receive when shopping in the East Hanover store. My guess is that this particular employee is very happy in her current position, so maybe she should look for another job! read more

An ok place with lots of cheap products. I like the selection of glassware and kitchen items. However, take an allergy pill before you go, it's dusty! read more

Great prices on lots of great stuff. You can get Fisher Price toys, Thomas the Train, Barbie, Disney princess stuff, all at great prices. I did some of my christmas shopping here which was great. They have housewares, arts and crafts stuff, etc. I got some storage bins and floor liners for our indoor play set, all very cheap and good quality. The only thing that is a little annoying is that they are closed for every Jewish holiday that involves observance. So, if you don't follow the schedule, you will try to go and they will be closed. For example, I called tonight and it had Memorial Day week hours on voicemail which indicated that they were open. Well, I went, and they were closed for a holiday. Please update your phones!!! It was a waste of time, and I was annoyed. read more

Here's the thing about Amazing Savings. Everything is ridiculously inexpensive. This blows people over, so they buy as much as they can carry. But here's the secret people: IT'S ALL LOW QUALITY GARBAGE!!! You want to know their business model? They stock their stores with the junk that other stores literally cannot sell. They buy it for cents on the dollar, and there's almost no overhead! When you buy stuff here, it will break, guaranteed. Don't let the low prices fool you. read more

This place is my go to when I have a party. There is a party city next door, and I can't understand why anyone would buy plates or cups at party city given that this place is next door and has some of the same things for a fraction of the price. It's full of interesting items if you keep your eyes open. A lot of the stuff they have here is strange, because it is close out merchandise, but occasionally you get lucky especially with stationery or stickers or coloring books or craft supplies or even serving plates and bowls and beverage serving stuff. And if you need foil pans for food or foil covers for the burners on your stove, those are dirt cheap here. Sometimes they have good stuff for kids - many a time when I was going to visit children I would buy a bazillion things here and the total would be about $40, and the parents would be OMG where did you get all that stuff? I got a sesame street foot stool so my daughter could reach the sink for $5. Recently I sent cookies to people all around the country. They had awesome gift boxes here for very reasonable prices, and they made my cookies look awesome. If you are one of those people who loves holiday decor, you must check this place out. It's not close to me, so I only get to go every once in a while, but when I do I clean up. Thank you notes, nice ones - $1.99? Stickers for $.49? It's frigging amazing. Love this place. Much better and cheaper than Big Lots. If you don't like bargains or hate hunting fro treasure this place is not for you. And it is easy to overindulge - but they take returns within 14 days! So if you over buy party stuff, you can return what you didn't use. There is a lot of weird stuff here that is totally entertaining to check out. Also - excellent selection of gift bags and gift wrap! read more

This place is just awesome. Even with numerous items and bags in hand, I rarely ever spend more than $25 here. They have everything, and I mean everything. From gift bags, tissue paper, party supplies (cups, plates, utensils, napkins, pans, tablecloths) and decor, cleaning supplies, and frames to kids' books (cheaper than Amazon!) and stickers, and brand name toys from Fisher Price, Nickelodeon, and Disney, you can do a lot of damage here. There is just such a wide selection of things to choose from here, and their prices, oh their prices!! Can you feel my excitement through your screen? It's so cheap. I mean, I can buy those mini Disney Frozen figurines for less than $2 a piece (which are normally like $8-10 at big box stores) or a Fisher Price baby seat for $30. I don't know how they do it, but they have a bunch of stuff you need (and a lot you probably don't) on the cheap, even cheaper than the Dollar Store! Added note: they're hours are a little random because they observe the Jewish Sabbath so they're typically not open on Friday nights or Saturdays (holiday hours do apply in the evenings). read more

I had the worst customer service I ever experienced in any store. My fiancée and I spent 300 dollars in things for our wedding And our cashier was rude and nasty the whole time she was ringing the items. Apparently she was bother by the large amount of glass that we had and any time we would ask her a question she will roll her eyes. Not just thAt but also decided to slam all the glass and crystal like it was plastic. When I asked her for a box because all the small items I had she did not even answer me and after a couple of minutes decided to tell me.. What do you want?? In a very disrespectful way. I can't remember her name but she is Spanish with glasses and short hair. On the other hand, Antonio was really helpful. It's a shame because I love the store because of its products but customer service is the most important element in retail. I am planning to call the manager today because persons like her should not deal with customers in a daily basis. read more

Such terrible customer service. I asked for a price check on an item since the item was marked with a sticker at a lower price than what was scanning and the cashier was so rude to me. She told me that it wasn't the price even though the item had the price on it. She had 2 other people who worked at the store come over and they were also rude. They accused me of putting the sticker with the lower price on the item. Like I have access to those stickers and I would do such a thing. Very disappointed since I have been going to that store for many years and haven't had a problem. Needless to say i will no longer be going to that store in the near future. read more

Just based on my view from the road, I assumed this place was a run down dollar store. I was very wrong. They have a ton of good stuff at low prices. Sooo many toys (I went around Christmas time), and very busy with customers. I wish I had gone here to do Christmas shopping for children's toys, but it's too late now, I already got my shopping done. read more

I love this place. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Its amazing. If you see something you like, you better grab it or it might be gone in a flash. If I can't find something, they are usually willing to check for me. It's a party planners paradise for somethings. As always shop around, not everything is a bargain here, though most things are. read more
