Crowded and chaotic, this discount store has a lot of material and you need to dig deep and make sure you look for what you want. Double check the fabrics and make sure it's the right size since people leave items all over, no random off colors, toys aren't missing pieces, etc. You can definitely find some deals if you spend the time. But there are a lot of strange styles here, too. Most items have tags with the prices clearly stated on most items but people do tend to put stuff all over. Probably the best one in the immediate area as far as the store set up goes, plus it's always in decent shape. I've been to other Marshalls where inventory is all over the floor in disarray. I enjoy shopping here because it is very centric you got everything around here clothing shopping, Home Depot, supermarkets and lots of nice diverse restaurants. pLus the store is huge so you can find shoes, makeup, house decor, luggage's everything. I really like this Marshall's mainly because the selection is pretty good. It's pretty organized depending on the time especially for a Marshall's which is usually a s*** show. Lots of registers which is good. They are disillusioned fully staffed. The staff is pretty friendly and they have a good grasp of the selection in the store. This place has a big selection of higher end designers. If you want a good bargain on Ferragamo or Marc jacobs you might find it here. For guys I always get good under garments etc and girls can find a great selection of shoes here too. Enjoy your hunting! The selection is good! Huge Marshalls and huge parking lot to go with it. This is a Marshalls you come to when you have time. Lots of it. You just need to browse here carefully. Check the skirt is not ripped or the hem is not dragging. Make sure the pants hem is still sewed. That the jacket does not have a blemish. If you do all that you will leave here a happy camper. Its got a large selction of things, many carried only here I have found, but it also gets LOTS of other shoppers. So be prepared to be patient here. Worth it if you have time to browse. I was so used to going to the marshals in Brooklyn and it stunk. Bad news. Nothing of any use. When I moved to Livingston New Jersey, I went to the marshals over here and let me tell you the styles are modern and up-to-date. The prices are great, it is so clean. And the sales people are so helpful and available. They don't disappear when you really need something and can't find it. I really recommend marshals in Livingston off of route 10. read more

Not bad in terms of bargins but the service is horrible. The fitting room policy will make anyone feel like a criminal - I was asked to leave several items outside of the room as well as hang all of my items on a rack so the associate could count them before issuing me a number. The fitting rooms were filthy, as I was reluctant to even put my stuff down on the floor. The cashiers are beyond rude and apparently do not like to do work. As many customers waited in a long line (I visited on 7/21/08) there was only one cashier ringing someone up - despite the fact that there were approximately 5 other girls behind the counter. After a few minutes, several of the girls decided that they should probably help the only cashier who was actually doing their job. I made eye contact with one 'cashier' and she commented loudly "Why your face so twisted?" Possibly because I was waiting in a long line while you were chatting with your friend... I've been to this Marshalls on several other occasions and have had similar experiences - long lines and rude cashiers. If you're willing to put up with the rudeness, dirty fitting rooms, and less-than-stellar store policies, you probably will get a decent bargain. I got a pair of shoes for $20 -but I'm not sure it was worth the aggravation. read more

My discount mecca! I LOVE this Marshalls. I have yet to find another one with so many great deals! I got a pair of Saucony's for $5.. a Free People shirt for $7.. Roxy shirts for under $10.. Anne Klein skirts for under $20 (I know I know.. they're for work).. Calvin Klein undergarments for under $20...etc and so forth. There are TONS of racks though, so it does require a little digging, but if you have an hour or two it's completely worth it. Don't forget to take a stroll through the shoe aisles. The shoes on the wall may be discounted but there are randomly priced $10 shoes in the aisle as well. The lines can be long.. so make sure to bring a friend to chat with. haha.. OH.. and make sure to check that your shoes are the same size! My mom went once and the wrong sizes were tagged together with one of those little plastic thingies. It was a size 6 and a 6 1/2 so my mom didn't even notice. Luckily the woman at the register noticed and saved my mom from whatever foot disorder occurs when you wear shoes that don't fit properly. My fiancée tells me I have to give this Marshalls five stars because apparently it is "the best Marshalls around." She can (and does) find the best designer clothes here. Frankly, I couldn't find a designer label if I was buried under a pile of them, but I have found some nice stuff here, too. I've been in the same dressing room (far right) on three separate occasions now, and for the life of me, I can never remember that the door swings fast and slams into the seat in there, producing a very loud BANG! This location is nice in a variety of aspects: -Decent shoe selection -Relatively fast moving lines -Well organized There is certainly room for improvement in the clothing selection, which is very hit or miss. A lot of items are on hangers that say they are one size, when the tag says another, which is also a pet peeve of mine when shopping. The customer service has been pleasant enough whenever I have needed assistance or made a purchase. I can't believe they allow dogs in the store. I'm allergic to dogs and now I have to worry about dogs jumping on the clothes and bringing it home. I was forced to stand behind a kid a her dog while I couldn't breathe. Finally I had to leave. TERRIBLE experience. Filthy dogs shouldn't be allowed in a clothing store. This was NO service dog, trust me. I would never bring my dog to a store to infect others or put people who are afraid of dogs in an uncomfortable situation. This policy needs to change read more

This is probably the largest Marshalls I've been to in a while. Huge and spacious store with a solid selection of everything--from clothes to shoes to kitchen items and various knick knacks. Brands wise, men's clothing has an "alright" selection. What I'm not too fond of is that a lot of the shirts have these obnoxious designs and colors--mainly shirts I would have worn in high school. The polo shirts to choose from are pretty ordinary; they were mostly solid colored shirts; there isn't much variety for the dress shirts either. If you're looking for a specific size, don't rely on the tabs. This branch isn't that organized, especially in the kitchen goods areas. Many things are out of place. Another thing that isn't too great is that the largest shoe size for men here is a 13. I've seen maybe one size 14 and 15, but that's it. Still, the discounts are hard to beat. The employees, for the most part, are friendly. You can tell that some are a bit burned out after their shift, so if you could just time your visit here--say, in the morning hours or right after lunch--then they probably won't be too grumpy. read more

this is one of the best marshall's i've never stepped foot in, no lie. i thought the paramus/bergen outlet marshalls would be good, but that one pales in comparison to the route 10 marshalls. i've never left without a steal deal in my hand! seriously! and even if its not a steal, they have great brands for literally cheap cheap cheap! the only caveat: you have to be willing to spend your time looking through the racks of stuff. PROTIP: go for the clearance aisles first, so you can find the cheapest options. then if you dont find anything but you're still in the mood to shop, then go through the normal racks! theres still some awesome deals there too. awesome things i've gotten for cheap here: theory blazers, lucky brand shirts, free people shirts, sam edelman shoes/boots, car vacuum for $4, rebecca taylor work shirts, and more! just make sure you try it on before you buy it, although they have an awesome return policy (even if its clearance, they give you the same return policy as regular items). i get alot of my gifts here too! they have a wide assortment of candles, random things, notebooks, etc etc. read more

I love Marshall's but not this location. Their selections are kind of limited compared to other Marshall's I have been to. It's always kind of messy with clothes strewn around everywhere. And the lines - OMG. It doesn't matter what time or day you go here - there is always a ridiculous line that doesn't move very fast (there's always like only 2 people working the register while 20 people are on line). But, in a pinch, when you need a picture frame or bath towels, the deals beat department stores and it gets the job done. read more

I live in Rockaway, NJ and I think this is the closest TjMaxx-Home Goods- Marshalls Chain store where they sell men's shoes....Came here today primarily for that purpose, selection was decent, not great but ok- that's why I gave 4 stars...other than that great selection of clothes, kids items and kids clothes, dress shirts and suits for men, all sizes... all types of knick knacks, plenty of Clearance items as well....I really liked the size of store and selection, will most definitely be back even though its about a 20 minute drive from home read more

The customer service at this store is absolutely horrendous! They have 8-10 cashier slots with 2-3 people working them. I went in at lunch time and their must have been 10+ people in line. There was no sense of urgency. Regardless of the deals, I would rather pay more for a less stressful experience. read more

Ugh, I have never gotten out of here in a reasonable amount of time after selecting my merchandise and getting on line to purchase. So many unused cash registers, and the few cashiers who are supposedly working, move at a glacial pace no matter when I go. I could be there first thing in the morning, at midday, or later. It doesn't matter. I've had to wait on line way longer than is reasonable to expect, given the size of the store. Today I actually gave up and just left my merchandise hanging in the iPhone accessories display. Time is money. I'll spend mine elsewhere. read more
