I showed them the signs posted directly next to the 2 items in the area advertising the 40% off and a posted sign stating the cost with the 40% discount. The young manager, JASON informed me that there were certain items that were not included in that 40% off deal. I showed him again both signs and the location of the signs in conjunction with the two items I wanted to purchase and asked him in good faith to honor the 40% off. The discount would've been approximately $13. His response to me was "No I'm not going to go against corporate". After I spent over $105, for a mere $13 discount, Jason chose to lose a long-time customer. I could easily have purchased all of the items at Michaels or even on Amazon. Instead, I chose to patronize a local community business. To me, this is false advertising or sketchy advertising. Appears to be the old "bait & switch" as many people would get up to the cash register and let it go and just purchase the items. I really am disappointed that an organization that prides itself on being Christian-based would be sketchy in their sales practices and higher managers that have no idea what customer service is in the business world.

I've been to many a Homegoods in my time, and let me tell you -- they are not all created equal. This is by far and away the best location that I've seen. The store is absolutely huge and the selection is unparalleled. There is a big section with real furniture, and you can walk away with anything from a couch to a dining set. And then there are aisles and aisles of goods... for the home. Anything and everything imaginable. Yes this is what every HG offers, but here it just feels... *different*. For the holidays they have at least three aisles filled with holiday wrapping, gift boxes, gift tags, holiday entertaining goods and more. There are also several aisles of speciality food items, so this is a great spot if you are looking for a fun food related gift... everything from truffle oils to fancy coffee. Yay for Homegoods!

Like, this has been a uniquely terrible experience. We worked with Judy to purchase a mattress back in November. Mattress is great, that is not the problem here. There are many problems. First, after specifically telling Judy we did not want a power base with our mattress, we were charged for one and were sent one along with our mattress. Of course I did not sign for the base, but it took two months and multiple calls hemming and hawing before the refund finally went through. But that was just the beginning. We placed a significant deposit on the mattress and financed the rest through R&F's financing set up. DO NOT DO THIS! Since financing, there have been two separate charges of over $2,000 placed on my finance plan for purchases I DID NOT MAKE. OVER $4,400 IN CHARGES AGAINST MY CREDIT THROUGH NO PURCHASES OF MY OWN. I have make six calls over a month to get these charges removed, but NOBODY can find them. They have no idea what I am talking about. I have called the credit service they use, spoken with R&F customer service and spoken with three different representatives at this specific (East Hanover) location. Nobody has any idea where these charges came from and have been NO HELP at all in getting them removed. At one point I received an email saying an initial $2,000+ charge would be refunded, but instead, that same charge was CHARGED AGAIN to my account. And after spending an hour on the phone trying to get this resolved today, still NOTHING from their team aside from "we've sent an email to our charging company to find out more information." IT HAS BEEN A MONTH WITH NO UPDATES AND MORE THAN $4,000 IN GHOST CHARGES AGAINST MY CREDIT. Again, a truly, uniquely awful experience with Raymour & Flanigan and this location. Never again. Highly, highly recommend anyone interested in making a significant purchase go elsewhere. Awful.

I had their service people come out ages ago to look at our sectional and my recliner that we…read morepurchased in the beginning of this year. The usb port had stopped working on the sectional. The arm of the recliner was sinking like it didn't have enough padding or the padding in it was of poor quality. The service person basically ignored my complaint about the recliner arm saying there was nothing he could do about it. The other arm on the recliner is fine and so are the ones on the sectional. This is unacceptable that the one arm looks terrible. The service person said he would order a replacement usb port. It has been months and I keep calling and they always have trouble finding my service order and then say someone will get back to me when they finally find it. I want my recliner and sectional both fixed!

That is exactly what it felt like. The cushions were absolute garbage. Glad I purchased with a credit card. Visa said tell them to pick it up and we will give you all your money back. I did. Done with Safavieh forever - terrible experience with the Safavieh Livingston NJ store.

Came here for the grand opening and at least once a week there after. They have new shipments in everyday. I love home goods but love homesense way more. People usually ask whats the difference and I find a huge difference in both. Firstly, they have products in bulk. For example, if I find something I like in Homegoods, TJMaxx, Marshalls (etc.) I need to go to a few of the stores to find the rest of the set and find them ONLY if I'm lucky. Second, I feel the products are in much better condition. Third, prices are way better. Last and certainly not least, the workers are amazing! The managers are everything they should be. It's a higher end of all TJX stores and it's newer, I just hope it stays like this because the workers actually care and it makes all the difference. Every time I go there, all I do is call my family and friends and tell them they NEED to check it out and send tons of pics in the group chat. Highly Recommended! read more

They have huge sections of clothes (women/men/children), shoes, housewares, small appliances, media (video/music/books), toys, games, and even a small section with furniture. The prices are MUCH better than what I had recently seen at a different store. They do have a parking lot, which gets fairly busy, but I've always found a space. To drop off items for donation, you can just bring you car to the front of the shop, and there are large plastic bins where you can place your items. There is usually an employee there who can advise you, and can also give you a slip to fill out for tax deductions. Tip - If you do drop off items for donation, they have been giving out coupons you can use in the store too. We were able to get an additional 20% off this way!

My time with Kathy has always been a very positive experience. Recently I had 5 boxes but was not sure it was up to their standard, I emailed Kathy all the item pictures, she thanked me but they were not to standard as I had guessed, I did not have to drive there. I dropped the content to the VNA sale in FarHills for Morristown Medical Center. Kathy told me she was looking forward when I would go again. That's why so many thrift stores are selling only lesser value items or junk. But here, they don't sell online and that's a big plus for their customers. The good stuff is still in the store and on their shelves. They are also reasonably priced. Save yourself shipping charges by stopping in and having a browse. Even when I am not looking for anything specific, when I find myself driving down Route 46 East and I see the Essex Diner, that is my cue to take the U-turn and drop in to check out any new merchandise they might have. Too many thrift stores are also in sketchy neighborhoods with cramped parking lots. Not here, they have a giant parking lot and they are in a very safe neighborhood. One less worry on your mind. And they are always looking for some good donations. So, if you have an old camera gathering dust, why give it to a relative where it will spend decades more in another closet or draw. Donate it! And whether shopping or donating, you are helping to change people's lives. That alone makes the trip worthwhile.
