I've heard of Amazing Savings but never had the opportunity to shop them until today. Moving into a new place there were a few things I needed and this place had a bunch of them and things I didn't know I needed as well lol. It's literally floor to ceiling random but neatly organized merchandise (think Bed Bath & Beyond meets Ollies) all at crazy reasonable prices. The cashiers were super friendly and neatly bagged everything with care for the easiest and safest lugging back to my car. Really 3.5 stars, but voted up because there are some great deals if you spend your time looking. Amazing Savings is a store with Multiple Personality Disorder. It's not sure if it's Big Lots (mostly reliable, solid items at discounted prices) or a run-of-the-mill 99 cent store (items from questionable sources with questionable quality). As other reviews mentioned, you can find some great stuff at Amazing Savings. Some small furniture (average quality), mirrors (average to "whoa, why is this so light???" questionable quality), and a great variety of kitchenware abound. There is also an aisle with basic party supplies, gift bags and gift wrap. Great aisle of cheap toys. Then, there are the made in China items that I wouldn't use even if you paid me. Tools that look like they'll pop a screw and take your eye out, "work gloves" that are so thin they're laughable, "is this L'Oreal or is this bootleg L'Oreal" type of cosmetic, a clothing section that looks like it has a sock fetish while saving half a top rack for basic tees and tanks, etc. Lastly, the selection can be odd. Dog beds on ready supply but no dog toys? Rows and rows of dining room items but no shower curtains or bath decor? It's one of those places where you go when you feel like coasting around for a good deal, but not a place you'd go with if you had a comprehensive shopping list. Faded, outdated boxes of recreational items and toys line their window. Going into the store, you are hit with the "dollar store" smell (all you frugalistas should know what I'm talking about) - not disturbing, but kind of puts in question the overall quality of the items you'll be getting there. I'd still come back for really specific things as you can find some truly good deals, but it does not replace the pricier alternatives such as Big Lots or Homegoods due to its odd selection of goods and the quality of many of the items. read more

I was there today and the owner himself saw me waiting in line and he rang me up himself...I had a nice conversation with him about this renovations and how his business was doing during the pandemic and he was so sweet and caring about his customers!! My fiance and I have found this place to be money when it comes to getting small items (wrapping paper, gift bags, wine bags and kids books/items). Prices are less expensive but there is virtually no staff to answer questions. Checkout is hectic but moves. They are closed Friday nights and all day Saturday. read more

First visit ever yesterday and the store is immaculate and very well organized. Checkout moves quickly. I bought 1/2 inch thick interlocking floor mats (home gym), good quality, $14.99 for a 4 pack. Best price I've seen anywhere for that quality. I was considering buying a small appliance and checked online before putting it in the cart and found that "A" had it for $5 less. As long as you know your prices, you can get some really good deals here. They also have a really nice selection of flatware, basic dishware and cookware at decent prices. read more

Amazing Savings in Clifton. Shame on you. Was there today. They Advertised hot Dixie cups 12oz $2.99. Price was on shelf. Rang up $3.99 at register. When price checked walked back to isle with 2 managers (Oscar and other female manger name unknown) showed the price and I confirmed $3.99 price was for 20oz Dixie hot cups. Before I could get my phone out Female manager ripped down $2.99 price tag for 12 oz cups and told me I had to pay $3.99. it was unbelievable. I told them that is called price switching and illegal. Most managers would have honored price even if price was corrected later. I always go in saying to myself "Oh I'll just go in to see what they have" Before I know it I've spent $100.00 for myself and family and they always ask WHERE did I get this item? My secret. But I love them and I respect the owners for keeping such an orderly and clean store as well as the selection. UNBELIVEABLE! You really have to experience it for yourself. It can can come across a little disarming, but when you see the quality of the merchandise? You WILL change your mind. I've never walked out unhappy or without a large bag of products. read more

This store seems to be the Best Kept Secret. Not many of my friends know about it, which is great! I can buy really nice stuff there and at incredible prices! They have so many things that it's difficult to mention all. They have the biggest selection of party utensils and the prices are half of what you'd pay at Party City or any other place. They have toys, beauty stuff, kitchen utensils, gloves, socks, etc etc. If you need a last minute gift, don't hesitate to go there. You'll find something that you like and the price will pleasantly surprise you. Just note that they are Hasidic, so they close on Saturdays. They open Sat after 6 pm around the holidays though. It really has terrific deals, but you have to go there with an open mind because they stock when they get the deals. The store has so many things that are unexpected, but again, you can't go in thinking a certain thing because it just may not be there or it may! You just don't know. I use to and still patronize the Teaneck location, but it's really convenient to have one in my own town. You really can find some seriously AMAZINGLY discounted items in this store. I always use my ScanLife application on my phone and I usually find the discounts to easily be anywhere on most items from 25-30% off normal retail prices. HOWEVER, since this store probably buys closeouts or discontinued items, if you see it and like it, BUY IT. It may not be there when you come back. Because it's a Discount Store, they do offer a refund with receipt policy, but it's 15 days so be mindful. The staff at this location is very nice, and helpful and always seem very pleasant. Also because this business is owned by Orthodox Jewish people, the hours on Fridays and Saturdays change because of the Sabbath so just call the number and they will tell you the hours for then.
